The pie chart indicates that as of 2025, 83.08% of adult Americans do not own Bitcoin - among those who do, 13.46% hold Bitcoin on exchanges, 4.62% through ETFs, and 2.69% in cold storage.

This shows that exchange-based holdings are the most common method, followed by ETFs, while cold storage is the least utilized, due to risk aversion.

I’m guilty at first. It was just a small amount and I don’t know how to use the wallet. I wish there was like crypto schools you could go to. It’ll be my luck. I decided I don’t ever wanna leave investing. I don’t know how to do a wallet I should figure it out. Wanna hold my bitcoin forever need to figure out a wallet before I lose it figure no one will come after a little fish, but hopefully one day I won’t be.

I recommend to start with using a Tangem wallet, it is very convenient and in my experience as simple is it gets for a hardware wallet. Buy a set of 3 (2 for backup), it should be around 70 bucks for the set, and then watch some YouTube clips on how to use it. Use the standard setup with no recovery phrase so not to worry about losing or leaking these. Your only backup is the two spare cards if properly set up, of course each one protected by a PIN you must remember at all cost and which could not be social engineered (eg do not use your birthday). Always start with a small amount first, until you get some practice. Good luck!
