This chart puts it all in perspective. If you think your FIAT is worth anything, it's not. It is being based at a rate of knots just look at this chart. It will give you the answer.

Global money supply expansion since the 2020 pandemic has added $40 trillion, eroding fiat currency value and driving capital into scarce hard assets.

Reminder $1Trillion is this. Imagine 40 of them!!!!! These are $100 BILLS

Agreed. Idle mind is the devil’s workshop.

Money printing and inflation have been a dogma. Show me one study that proves money printing causes inflation and explain the low inflation in China and Europe compared to the USA. Do tariffs and taxes on products have more to do with increasing prices? China: It produces almost all it needs, but due to lower demand, it has low inflation. Europe: It produces nearly all it needs and has almost no tariffs. USA: It barely produces all it needs, relies on importing goods, and imposes tariffs on those products. All three print money at nearly the same rate, with China printing slightly more, but the USA experiences the highest inflation.

This really terrified me - cut through - especially today. If our system collapses it will create pain like WWll. It makes me so sad. Don't sell your Bitcoin folks!

AI is coming like a tidal wave. But it isn't perfect. It took James' "this chart" voice and changed it in to text, "Discharge."

Yet still need more to print

6.9% cagr. Would like an explanation on this versus inflation. Of course this is a global figure , but overall shows why inflation is baked in

Btc is the answer to debasement. TSLA is the answer to build wealth.

So true...except that it is the currency supply; not money supply. Currency can be money but only if it is limited in supply and a store of value over time. Since they keep printing more dollars and dollars have lost over 95% of their value in the past century, it is erroneous, ignorant, harmful, and lazy to refer to the dollar as money!

CryptoBong

I agree. However, dollar being the global reserve currency, that is used as reference I think.

In that case James should have more than 10% of his portfolio in $BTC. I make this observation seeing more than 60% in $MSTR and $TSLA which are essentially valued in FIAT. So a $3000 $TSLA (example) in 5 years should not carry much value.

I just dropped an easy $200 at the grocery store. Prices are high.

Yeah doesn't go far anymore. I hate shopping, so I do a big trip every 2-3 months and usually fill up 1.5 shopping carts as fast as possible. Kinda weird watching a guy pull 2 carts around lol. Last time I went it was about 900$... I rang up 1 over stuffed cart first and it was 520$ or so.
