Updates + PATREON EXCLUSIVE // r beny mini performance (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone,
I hope you're doing well. I wanted to post an update for some things coming over the next week or so and also share an exclusive with you.
I've posted this to every tier of Patreon support ($1 and above) so that everyone sees the update. However I wanted to remind people that the $5+ a month tier is where you gain access to exclusive content - of which there's going to be plenty in the near future. Including discount codes for some stores (which would more than pay back any patronage very quickly) PDF patch books and videos too. So what exactly is coming in terms of exclusives ...
An extended look at problem solving based patching with logic from the was video. This will be a PDF booklet and extended video.
A "patching accents" PDF patchbook outlining the ideas and intentions alongside the specific patch in the recent dannysound ladder filter video.
A conversational guide to performance with Eurorack + my 'zonal' approach PDF book. This is based on my performance "at the Chapel" and other performances leading up to this.
2 extended bonus pieces based on an upcoming video. You'll get an extended look at Krell style generative patching used in the video and also turning murky FX into Steve Reich style percussion layers. This may be a mix of a PDF and video ...
So you can see there's LOTS to come. Still LOTS for me to do on these exclusives but it's all active and coming in the coming weeks.
The next DivKid thing
Even more exciting is the next thing from me is going to release at the start of next week. Is it a module? Is the best thing ever? Is it branded socks and underwear or a just a sticker? Well ... you'll see later this week with early access and an exclusive store discount. How illusive and exciting (cue dramatic music, tension and excitement) ...
This video
But finally onto the topic of the day ... this is an exclusive little mini performance from r beny and what a beautiful blissed out moment this was. It doesn't pass lightly that artists are willing to let me spend time with them, capture their creativity and share it with people. This little performance was capture to provide some frame work to a rig rundown interview that I did with r beny at Velocity back in 2019. But exclusively for you here is the full recording of that little performance. The interview is coming soon and you've already had access to the full Velocity gig which you can watch here (before that goes public with the interview at a later date).
That's it for now, let's chat in the Discord channels and see you soon!
