You can fix a Power Query folder import that refuses to work, even if you've only opened Power Query a handful of times.

You point Excel at a folder, click Combine, and get "The key didn't match any rows in the table." Then you open the Advanced Editor, stare at a wall of M code, and close it again. Most of us go straight back to copy and paste, because learning a whole new language just to combine some files feels like too much.

Here's my confession: I'm a VBA guy, and I've used Power Query maybe a few times over the years. That's exactly why I built this from a beginner's seat. You'll see why the default import breaks (it looks for a sheet named Sales, and not every workbook has one), and how to give Claude the folder plus the existing query so it can diagnose the real problems before writing a single line. By the end, bad headers, text dates, duplicates, blank rows, and missing columns all land in one clean table.

What if the error you've been dreading turned out to be the easiest part to fix? That's when I realized I didn't need to master M code. I just needed to know what to ask for and where the answer goes.

Everything happens on screen in order, including the failure, so you can see exactly where it goes wrong and how it comes back. The prompt, sample files, and M code are all in the download, so there's nothing to copy from the video.

Your training and download are below, so open that folder you gave up on and let's fix it together.
