Your multi-user Excel apps now sync automatically in the background, so your team always works from the same data without anyone remembering to click a button.
In the original training, the skill turned any single-user workbook into a multi-user app with login, user management, and a Sync Now button. That worked well, but it still depended on people clicking at the right time. If someone forgot, their copy drifted out of date. You also couldn't see who changed what, and a wrong number in a shared accounting app stayed wrong until you found it yourself.
So I went back and closed those gaps. You can now set auto-sync to run every 1, 2, 10, or 60 minutes, or set it to zero to turn it off. When you add a user, you can choose whether they get view-only access or can make changes. You can then generate a personal copy of the workbook for that user with one click, and the skill won't create a copy for someone who doesn't exist yet. You can now change a user's initial password and remove users, which you couldn't do before. The admin side also got a live team status panel showing active users, last sync, and pending changes, plus a built-in health check that confirms your shared folder, admin login, inbox, and auto-sync are all working.
The addition I think you'll value most is the full change history with one-click restore. Every edit is logged with who made it, when, and on which sheet and cell, along with the old value and the new value. If someone enters the wrong figures in a shared bookkeeping app, you can find the edit and roll it back in seconds. Your users never see this sheet. It stays with you as the admin.
Start by uploading the new updated skill into Claude or ChatGPT under Customize, then Skills. I gave it a different name from the original, so remove the old Excel Share and Sync skill to avoid mixing them up. After that, open the new step-by-step guide. It walks through setup, shared folder rules for OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, or a network drive, and how to send copies to your team. You'll also get updated finished versions of both the Employee Manager and the Modern CRM so you can compare your results with mine.
This is what your membership is supposed to be. When I see a way to make a training more useful, I come back and build it, and it goes straight to you. If you run into anything in the skill that doesn't make sense, tell me and I'll update it.
📥Your updated skill, guide, and sample workbooks are all below. Drop in any single-user app and watch it become a team tool in minutes.
