Have a soft spot for this show, would love for it to be on the patreon one day.

In broad terms the anime is about the two characters you see committing terrorism in modern day Japan and releasing cryptic clues while a detective is trying to catch them.

Red Menace

no spoiler just stuff you could find out in ep 1, it follows a girl who gets in with 2 terrorists who are in a "crusade" on modern japan(domestic terrorist(can't give anymore away wihtout spoiler), and the detective who is chasing them, very ethereal type of show, saw someone compare to psycho pass, and while the tone may be the same, it is very much set in "modern" japan, i know the big plot episode was released on september 11th intentionally(not 01). Very good show, i didn't love it, but i get why people do, its built around the music, like cowboy beebop, like scenes are timed to the score and whatnot. Can't tell if you'll like it or not, japan actually has a history with terrorism, threes been other shows about terrorism in japan, biggest ex is that there are not many public trash can in tokyo due to a series of sarin gas attacks at stations, but most terrorism in japan is domestic.

The concept of the anime is really cool, it's just the execution that falls flat for me personally. Musically is amazing tho.

JD

I personally enjoyed the anime, but I know it's not for everyone. It's definitely worth the 3 episode rule if you're interested. It's also only 11 episodes

HaukurE

Yeah and it’s also only like 11 or 12 episodes anyways

Surprised no one mentioned, but this is another show directed by Shinichiro Watanabe Aka director of Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo. Also you mentioned haunting and the ending song is an amazingly haunting song by Aimer. When you said it gave you Psycho-Pass vibes I would say that's very accurate in that it's a show very critical of society and has a lot of commentary on that with its story. I have previously and will continue to recommend this show for future polls.

Lulu

Yeah but it is 10000% a vibe to this day despite the execution (and ending)

I´ve said it a couple times and I´ll say it again, I´m sure you would enjoy Terror in Resonance a lot given your affinity for Steins Gate. It´s a show with a very serious undertone, a brilliant story and great music, hope it gets into the poll for after SG0

Thank you for doing my request! It's a song and show I really loved and wanted to share it. I'm glad to see other people enjoying the show and music in the comments too I will say this opening and it's music fit the anime really well.

kinji

I mentioned it in my request! I was very surprised when I found out way back when

kinetic98

kinda reminds me of land of the lustrous OP song (just the general feel can't say why)
