Thank you for this reaction I really enjoyed it. Glad you're loving it so far. It's funny with the Cyberman having a lack of emotions. I think with this leader, we are seeing a measure of panic when things aren't going to plan lol, so I can deifnitely see how that feels a bit off. The Cybermen were probably the most re-designed monsters of Classic Who & I think they have a slightly less robotic sound to them in this story. I also enjoy this because when growing up, this was the last story I felt really scared by & I don't feel it's lost that creepy aspect to it. I love the callback to the previous Doctors as well. Lastly, I love the interaction between The Doctor and Adric in this and also, you mentioned a while back about loving the callbacks to previous stories in this era & I feel we got a lot of this in the Tardis scene at the beginning. Hi Jess. Remembering back to your reaction to The Daemons, back in the Pertwee era, and your post reaction chat about how you are so engaged in character driven stories, I have often wondered if you had ever considered reacting to Babylon Five as it really does seem to be a series that might interest you. The series is actually a five season SF novel and the characters are exceptionally well drawn. Maybe, though, you have possibly seen the series already?
