Chapter #33: Moonlight, sunrise.

Harry was taken aback by this revelation. It seems like Luna’s father is a bird animagus. Well, he’s a journalist and his newspaper team seems to consist of only him and maybe Luna, but it looks like he’s the only one who chases the news.

“Sir—” Harry tried to speak, but the man suddenly stopped him.

Soon, he was acting like a mouse, moving around the place with his wand in hand, Harry was looking at him with a confused expression while Luna remained unfazed, she was smiling at him from time to time but there was one thing clear, she was truly fascinated with him because she didn’t want to let him go, the way she was looking at him it was the most precious look he has received.

“It’s clean,” her father said with a serious expression.

Harry didn’t want to look judgmental, but the man looked to have been in a rough situation; he looked like a bum.

“Sorry for that, it’s just that…I’m always worried about being spied, you never know if there’s another animagus or an espionage device nearby,” the older wizard sighed.

“It’s alright, Sir…It’s a pleasure to meet you, I’m Harry, Harry James Potter,” Harry tried to be polite.

“Yes, the son of Lily Evans and James Potter, we weren’t too close, but we knew each other, that’s for sure. It’s a pleasure to meet you, too,” the older wizard told him with a more cheerful expression.

Then he took a look at Luna and the way she was hugging Harry’s arm and smirked.

“Well, well, it seems like my dear moon has found her crater, that’s nice,” he smiled.

Harry remained silent while Luna just smiled.

“I’m glad you've finally met him, Father, but that’s not the reason why I wanted to see you,” Luna said.

Soon she told him about the information Harry wanted. Harry wanted to know about the secret government and all that kind of stuff.

Xenophilius looked at them with a concerned expression. He didn’t want to say anything because this information was too dangerous to handle.

“Sir?” Harry asked. “Do you have any idea how to find the secret government?” Asked Harry with a serious expression.

The older wizard remained silent for a few moments and then massaged his forehead.

“I know this is going to be hard to believe, Harry, but…The Potter family is part of the secret government.” Those words shocked Harry to the core.

He couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

“W-what?” Asked Harry with a perplexed expression.

“I can’t exactly tell you who those people are, Harry. I'm an unregistered animagus of the bird kind, so I can listen to almost any conversation. So, while I was investigating a conspiracy about how the government controls our minds with Quidditch, I heard two members of the secret government speaking in a public pub, the problem here is that…They were under the use of Polyjuice potion; they’re not idiots,” the older wizard was worried about Harry.

That was an interesting thing considering they hadn’t known each other for too long.

“But that day, I heard them say something about your family…They said the Potter family should be extinguished once and for all, and they referred to the Potter family as the fifth seat of their organization, so maybe if you look up at your family files, you’ll find something,” the older wizard told him with a serious tone.

Harry couldn’t believe what he was hearing, but then, he realized something.

“Fifth? So that means there are at least four more of them, right?” The emerald-eyed wizard questioned with a serious expression. “Did they use a name or something to speak to each other?” Even if it was a fake name or something, Harry needed to know everything about his enemies.

“Yeah, it seems like a woman was referring to herself as “Z” while a man was referring to himself as “L”. The man said explicitly that the Potter family should be extinguished, but the woman urged him to call it “P”. Xenophilius suddenly came to a realization. “What…Don’t tell me that…” The older wizard suddenly looked at Harry with a curious expression.

“Yes…It’s a keyword for their last names,” Harry suddenly smirked. “I guess I should look at the registry of our country to see which last names start with those letters. It might sound difficult, but last names with those letters are rare,” Harry smirked.

Xenophilius came to a realization.

“Well, if you look at the last names of the important families of the country, the ones that control this place, there’s one option for the letter "Z"…The Zabini family, a woman was using that name, and do you know who has a last name like that and it’s a woman?” The older wizard asked.

He was going to say Blaise, it would make sense, the guy wasn’t arrested during the recent raid at Hogwarts, it would be easy to become a suspect.

“I guess Blaise Zabini is using Polyjuice potion to act as a woman. I must admit that’s clever,” Harry said with a surprised tone.

“Or maybe it’s his mother…Bianca Zabini,” Harry looked at Luna, who decided to speak.

She was clearly someone who didn’t speak too much, but when she did, she could shake the world, well, at least his world was shaken after hearing that.

"Fuck...I don't discard Blaise using polyjuice, but sometimes the answer is simpler than what we think, maybe his mother is the one who's part of that organization," Harry said in a low tone.

“Oh, right, she's a beautiful woman, I must say, but she’s like a rose, beautiful and dangerous at the same time; she’s a black widow, all her husbands have died in mysterious circumstances, either she’s cursed, or she knows how to hide her crimes very well,” Luna explained, and Harry nodded.

“I didn’t expect something like this to come out of this meeting…That’s why I’m going to give you something for you to publish, magic is nothing but the result of experiments on humans done by creatures from another planet, trust me…I recently met them,” Harry said with a smirk.

He wanted to shake the world, so it was time to reveal something in a newspaper that people don't usually buy.

“Oh? Now that’s interesting, in fact, my dear Luna’s existence is thanks to those beings!” Xenophilius said with a smirk.

Harry was surprised by how easily the man accepted other people's words.

“Wait? How’s that possible?” Harry wondered with a raised brow.

“Well, my wife and I had problems conceiving, and we thought we would never have a son or a daughter; however, one night after comforting my dear Pandora for thinking that she would never become a mother, we were visited in the middle of the night by a strange light…Then we were inside a device that was able to fly at high speeds, one moment we were in our house in the countryside and then, we were looking at the moon as if it were just a few miles from us!” Xenophilius said with a surprised tone.

Luna was having a good time, even if she already knew the story; it was always fun to hear it.

“But that’s not the most important thing, it’s the fact after that experience, the next day my dear Pandora was already experimenting the first signs of pregnancy and that’s how we were given Luna, that’s why we named her like that, as her existence started most likely close to the moon,” the older wizard said with a happy smile.

Luna was smiling, and in different times, Harry would’ve called that nonsense, but he had seen far more incredible things; he wanted Luna and all the people he loves to never stop smiling, and if he wants to achieve that, he needs to destroy the secret government; there's no other way.
