Chapter #2: Magic's everywhere.
In a dark room, James and Lily were completely naked; the redhead was on all fours while the dark-haired man was pounding her as if his life depended on it.
“Fuck… Yes, James… Give me more!” She begged, and James couldn’t help but grin.
“Dear… You’ve been too horny lately; don’t tell me you want to get pregnant again?” Asked James with an amused expression.
“Oh, don’t tell me that you’re not in the mood for that!” She said between moans.
James could only chuckle; she was right. He loved his wife; she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, a goddess, if he must say so, with her red hair and green eyes. He couldn’t believe he'd lucked out when he asked her out, only to find that she felt the same way; yes, that was the best day in James’ life.
“You’re right, you know me very well,” James couldn’t help but admit.
Then, without saying anything else, he increased the speed of his thrust, and so the moans were getting louder and louder. They would be more wary, but they were alone in the house. Harry and Jamie, Yes, Harry and Jamie were on a trip in the forest; well, it was more like Harry took his little sister Jamie while the parents had fun. And speaking about Harry and his sister...
“And this is what happens when you stare at it, Jamie,” Harry said with a serious expression as he carried his one-year-old sister.
He was pointing at a leaf on the ground, and soon, the thing got covered in fire. Jamie cheered happily with her dark hair and grey eyes; she was almost a carbon copy of Harry, but with longer hair. Harry smiled at her reaction; however, he was disappointed because it had been a year since he discovered he could do magic, and he hadn’t progressed much.
The most he could do was the burning leaf trick. He was so lost in his thoughts that he didn’t pay too much attention to his little sister until she started to demand his attention, and then his eyes widened when he saw her burning the leaf next to the one he burned.
“Jaime… That was…” Harry couldn’t believe it.
His little sister then started to happily jump; it seemed like she was proud of what she had just done, and it made sense for her to act like that. It took Harry a long time to do that, or maybe he always had it, and he never experimented with it; there were many questions in his mind right now related to that.
“Let’s keep this secret for ourselves, Jamie,” Harry told his little sister.
A few hours later, after dinner, Harry was writing everything he learned today, and he came up with a conclusion: there was magic in this world; now the biggest challenge was to find a way to capitalize on it and do something with that magic. However, Harry knows he should be careful, especially because Voldemort is somewhat of an unofficial friend of the family.
For some reason, the man is very interested in being friends with his parents; however, Harry knows very well that the monster is plotting something. On the other hand, his parents see this as an opportunity to get connections in the government; he can’t blame them for that, though.
Harry decided to call it quits and call things for the day. He went to sleep, and the next day before breakfast he was greeted by an interesting sight: his parents were waiting for him with his sister, but they weren’t alone; there was another family with a girl around his age that looked quite familiar.
“Good morning, Dad, Mom, Jaime and…?” Harry questioned in a polite tone.
“Harry… You’re almost seven, so the day for you to start learning how to read, do math, and write has come,” his father declared.
The two of them were expecting Harry to snap and get angry; however, Harry already knew that from the memories of his original life. The only thing that he didn’t like about the news was the fact that he was going to have less time to spend on his magical projects.
“Okay,” he said in a calm tone.
His parents were surprised to hear those words; they expected more fighting from him.
“Okay?” James questioned with a raised brow.
“Yes… Is there something wrong with my response?” Harry asked with a worried tone.
He was truly worried because he wasn’t well aware of the customs of this place.
“Yes… I’m ready to learn. Please, let’s start as soon as we can, Mr…?” Harry questioned.
The man and his wife smiled.
“William, my name’s William Granger.” Harry couldn’t believe what he was hearing.
And then, after checking out the girl who was probably their daughter, Harry realized that she had brown, bushy hair.
“Could she be?” Harry questioned.
“I’m Juliet, Juliet Granger, and I’ll be teaching you math,” the professor’s wife said with a warm smile.
“And I’m Hermione… Hermione Granger, a pleasure to meet you,” she declared with a shy smile.
Harry couldn’t believe it. Even in this universe, he had met Hermione; it was like a deity or something superior decided to toy with him. Now he was presented with a different scenario and with the people he used to love, but in different roles.
“Oh… It’s a pleasure, I’m Harry,” he said as he grabbed her hand to shake it.
Both of them couldn’t help but feel like there was some warmth coming from the other’s hand, and this caused them not to want to let it go; however, there was no time for this when the teacher seemed so positive about the class.
“Very well, after your breakfast, we’ll be waiting for you in the next room,” the Granger family declared.
“Are you sure you don’t want to eat breakfast with us?” Asked Lily, a bit worried.
“Oh, don’t worry, we already ate. We’re following a strict diet, so please don’t think that we’re rejecting you because we don’t like you or something like that…” The man tried to assure them.
The adults nodded and soon, Harry was left alone with his parents.
“I’m surprised you didn’t throw a fit, Harry,” his father said, impressed.
“Oh, come on, don’t be so dramatic dad, I’m not that bad,” Harry tried to act offended.
“Really, Harry? Do you remember when you lost a toy under your bed yesterday, and you almost threw a fit…” Lily made Harry feel annoyed.
“Okay, okay… I get it, I hate to admit it, but I guess I can’t deny that sometimes I'm a bit hot-tempered, still… I’m excited to learn new things,” Harry said in the most innocent tone possible.
He, in fact, wanted to learn as much as he could so he could bring back magic and create a new world with more colors than this one; however, he knew it sounded too crazy, especially knowing that Voldemort was close to his family. Maybe he was suspecting something, or maybe he was obsessed with the Potters.
The point was that he needed to be careful. The smallest mistake could destroy his family; he needed his magic back so he could defend his family from people like Voldemort. His family was impressed by his words, and now they were hopeful about their son’s future; they were just hoping this wouldn’t be a mistake.
