PJ has a large and varied catalog of songs dipping into multiple genres. Eddie Vedder is my all time top male vocalist that has aged like fine wine. He is a prolific songwriter with meaningful and poetic lyrics. This particular song is about someone who has been dealt a crappy start in life, but instead of growing dark and reclusive, he still shows light and love to others. "And he still gives his love, he just gives it away The love he receives is the love that is saved." Also, I always know what time frame the live videos are based on Eddie Vedder hair. 🤣 This wasn't too long after his math teacher hair cut phase and it had grown back out quite a bit. His live performances, whether solo or with PJ, never disappoint. Would love to see more of your reactions to them.

💜 I watched a video where someone asked for comparisons of "grunge" singers. Someone said, that Vedder writes more about important social issues going on in the world comparatively. Another person said, he is a true fan and champion of music and other artist. Both are true, in every article/interview/reward speech Vedder always mentions how inspirational other artists are and his meaningful interacting with common people. Very humble and appreciative.
