It turns out the world never stops spinning, even when monumental news -- like Helldivers 2 going to Xbox Series X|S in August -- breaks upon the masses. Sacred Symbols and Sacred Symbols+ have focused a lot on Xbox's volley of PlayStation games, and well, the shoe's now on the other foot. There's no doubt this Helldivers 2 port opens up a litany of possibilities about the interplay between two historic rivals, and to discuss the developing situation, I (Colin) invited the Dukes to Sacred+. So please welcome both Matty and Cog, and join us as we chat about what we think of the big news before getting into 14 PlayStation-published titles that may just be next.

Ah this is the show they were talking about, cool premise

Kasual7

Ask, and you shall receive! Thanks for this episode!

Solidest Snake

Love the icon, I feel like no one remembers rocket knight.

Small correction as the numbers are close - but Colin is wrong when he says Rhys Elliot said that Forza Horizon 5 sold more than Astro Bot on PS5: he said Forza sold 2.8m copies, while Astro has sold 2.9m

Probably not, I think Helldivers 2 being released on Xbox was a quid pro quo along with a data experiment/last squeeze from Sony on what will likely be the last Xbox with true Xbox fans on the console. Xbox’s next hardware will feature Steam and from there it’s just a pc for anyone with eyes and a brain

Excellent episode, bonus pts for first time I've seen Matty's lil dog

I know this is just a bit of fun, but grown-ups do not care if Sony port their games to Xbox. Why would gamers care about this? You guys talk about people losing their collective minds if TLoU was playable on Xbox. Only fanboys care. Or is this just an American thing? Very strange behaviour. I would love it if everyone could play a game like TLoU. Thanks for the episode all the same.

For Xbox fans, the marriage is over snd we just don't want to pay the lawyer fees. For PlayStation people, this is like catching your spouse getting blasted by the neighbor

KYisLife

Accounting professor here: it’s pronounced “Am - or - tizing”, not “Amora -tizing”

Hopefully they can get some ps games, I feel bad for them. It’s like a care package of sorts. Realistically, I liked GRavity rush as an idea. Helps support the movie, and it would mean we most likely get some collection or a remaster for 2 which is what I really want. Amazing top top PlayStation IP that doesn’t get enough love. And then give them Bloodborne remastered whenever that comes out. No brainer there

The correct response but people do care far too much. Let the console manufacturs 'fight' over services & hardware features not who's got what game. Much interesting 'fight' imo.

Save Scum Goblin

need an episode about dream xbox games you’d want to come to playstation. my two, with only one being realistic are sunset overdrive and state of decay 3.

NeO JD

Idk if it’d even be worth it to port these games to Xbox. Plus, it looks like all the PS games ported to PC will be playable on the next Xbox anyway via Steam.

David P

Gravity Rush is absolutely not silent with it's characters. They speak a fictional language that's a mix of French and Japanese. Tsk tsk.

Ahlickaloo

Colin explained why. Give it a listen

heyVinno

He explained why he would lose his mind if TLoU would go to Xbox? Must have missed that bit. My bad.

Ahlickaloo

You dang Europeans! Can’t tell if you’re being honest or it’s just the eurojank seeping thru the cracks

heyVinno

😂😂😂 Probably a bit of both.

Beef Burka

His explanation was basically "that means exclusivity is over". I don't think that explanation negates your point.

Girth Brooks

Love Col but he should stop trying to hide the fanboyism so much and just unapologetically embrace it. Homeboy almost cried after COG pressed him to explain why he’d “melt down” if TLOU went to Xbox. That was eye-opening AF.

Kevin Cooper

Xbox fanbase would give zero fucks about Gravity Rush, unfortunately.
