Thanks for posting this! "Death on Two Legs" has always been my favorite Queen song, and this has always been my favorite Queen album. I love the diversity among tracks, and think this album showcases many different sides of the band and really shows the talent of each member. Haven't heard this in a long time, it was nice to hear tracks I had forgotten about.

The word of the day is versatility!

Hi Nick and Alexia, I have to say that I think that was the best reaction video you have ever done! It's such a shame that only us privileged Patreon members can enjoy the fun! I think you could choose almost all of the songs to post on Youtube, from your surprise at the heaviness of 'Death on Two Legs' (Freddie's savage attack on their former manager) to '39' (Brian on vocals) to the music-hall pastiches {'Good Company' was an homage to George Formby, a British musical movie star of the '30's and '40's who played the ukulele and banjo} to your wonderful miming/acting on 'Bohemian Rhapsody'! Surely though, you have to post 'The Prophet's Song'. You're right Nick, their greatest song, written by Brian, and it's amazing to think that it is without doubt the centrepiece of an amazing album that includes 'Bohemian Rhapsody'! I can't believe it has the fewest Spotify listens. You have to put that right and show the world how great that song is! I had so much fun as it's been a few years since I've listened to the album from start to finish, and I appreciate it even more now. Oh, and yes, I think your interactive live album listening thing would be a great idea. I'm up for that! A great reaction to an album that shows why Queen were one of the greatest bands ever. Thanks xx

I was introduced to Queen by Wayne's World back in the day! I loved it from the 1st time I watched the movie, but curiously enough, I didn't try to find who the artist was and go and by the CD... I don't know much Queen, already, this full album brought me many new songs. I love your idea of doing the full albums with us commenting in the chat + the select people talking with you! I'd love to be one pf the ones talking if I am very familiar with the band or the album, otherwise, sooo many people have so much knowledge to share!

Gave it a like because it is a good reaction vid, but I've never been a fan of Queen. I do like 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' and the duet with David Bowie 'Under Pressure'.

FIRST album my parents let me buy when I was around 10. Blew my mind with headphones and definitely shaped my musical taste today. Can't wait to hear!

And let's just admit it... "I'm In Love With My Car" is a giant turd sandwich in the middle of a 5-Star meal.

‘39 y Good Company las canta Brian May, su autor. ‘39 en directo la canta Freddy, la podéis escuchar en el álbum Live Killers. Love of my life vale la pena escucharla en directo.

It STILL is Sunday evening kids, only 830. You must have gotten an early start. Hope the weather there is warmer than on this side of the Mtns. Much Love They named this album after a 1930's Marx Bros movie, never know what to expect.

Hey Nick & Lex, I'd grown up with Queen and this album was, is & will be a part of my life for sure and it may take me forever to put my thoughts down about this album!! But, There's a doc on Night At The Opera that goes into many tracks on the album on The Classic Albums series that VH1 Classic had shown back in the day around 2008-2012 or so if I'm not mistaken and you can please correct me!! Why don't you check it out and please do a #nicknlexrquest reaction!! Can't wait to see it soon and I'm so glad that you're doing a reaction of this album and I bet that you had a great time and thanks and Merry Christmas!! Can't wait to hear from you soon & sending you all love and prayers for good health & a great week!! - <3 <3

Brian McCall

This album was basically their 'live or die' album, as Brian May put it. They hadn't made any real money on the previous albums. Death On Two Legs is an excoriating attack on their lowlife manager from their early years as a band.

Brian McCall

Brian May is instantly recoginizable by his tone and style. He sorta bridges elements of heavy metal stylings, prog rock, along with solid rhythm guitar base work. Taylor and Deacon contributed not only strong drums and bass work but several quality songs; including some classic Queen tracks.

Better late than never, finally watched the reaction. Great music, great reaction, time went by so fast . This is Queen's best album

I remember getting this album for Christmas when I was a kid. I got to see them when I was 12 and I still remember that concert like it was last week. Great album!

Clarke M

If you have not already, do some digging for what '39 is about. Once you know, the lyrics become incredible. And really nerdy. And heartbreaking.
