Man, this was hard, choosing between 3 very different, but all favorite albums: Remain In Light, Teaser And The Firecat, and Night And Day!! I went with Talking Heads, which was very groundbreaking and influential.

Michael Gray

Really Like Marillion so I chose Misplaced Childhood. Get past their radio hit Kayleigh and the rest of the album is very good.

Richard Dobson

Remain In Light, Night and Day, Misplaced Childhood, that's my shortlist. Just like previous months, I don't mind which of them gets to win, but as an experience I will go for Marillion's masterpiece. Can I just mention that their following album, Clutching At Straws, is even better and a fine farewell to Fish!

David Holloway

No contest for me: as a fan of prog rock, not to mention my preference for, "The Fish Years," it has to be, Misplaced Childhood!

Scott Anderson

As usual, great selections. Gonna stick with my man Joe Jackson. I have seen Nick react to everything (he is a machine) and I have seen Alexia react to lots of progressive rock as well as some heads and the Cat. but I haven’t seen to my memory Alexia react to Joe Jackson and this is such a great album as all the songs interweave and overlap. Vote Joe!👍👍

Scott Anderson

Need to correct myself as Nick and Alexia reacted to Another World. Sticking with Joe!

Dave

Good choices as usual. Bella Donna is good but we just did Rumours. Can't go wrong with TH and Cat. Hootie is best selling album of the 90's I believe. Still have more than a week to decide.

With the run of recent full album reviews from 1978, I can't help thinking Some Girls by the Stones would have been a good nomination! Or, UKs debut album.

JK

Some Girls is an excellent suggestion. As well as some other classic Stones albums. Especially since I think they get blocked on You Tube. Have you heard the two songs from the upcoming album? They’re pretty great.

Dave

Yes, listened a few days ago. "Angry" with a very hot Sydney Sweeney in the video. "Sweet Sounds of Heaven" w Gaga and Wonder is pretty bluesy. Both pretty good for anyone, let alone 80 year olds.

KevB(rewski)

I didn't know the Stones were releasing new music. Amazing. I just saw Bob Dylan live last week (for about the 23rd time?) on the 2nd stop of the new US Tour and he played almost his entire most recent album Rough and Rowdy Ways, still going strong, playing great piano in the middle of the stage at 82! . And his voice is stronger and clearer than it was a decade ago. He opened with Johnny B Goode in tribute to our hometown Chuck Berry and he added an extra encore with another Chuck tune to end the show, Nadine, which he rarely ever does. He's having fun and in a great mood. Incredible night.

Tough choice btw Talking Heads, Marillion and Joe Jackson, went with Joe because of the overall song strength of that album and his Steely Dan fandom (JJ frequently throws a Dan tune into his live shows, like Any Major Dude). I think Alexia hasn't heard much of Joe as you said, just a great songwriter. Surprised he's not pulling in more votes.

Scott Anderson

Ever hear Joe’s version of Night by Night.

Richard Dobson

Four days left and it's touch and go! The Heads and Marillion tied at 29% each!

KevB(rewski)

Don't think I've heard him sing that one. I know I did see him sing Any Major Dude at least once, possibly at a Jackson/Todd Rundgren double bill about 20 years ago, great concert. I've seen him live 4 or 5 times.
