Live Drawing for the #CynthiaLin250K Giveaway

Every Wednesday, I host my weekly Instagram Live show called 5@5, featuring 5 songs at 5pm Pacific Time.  Join me this Wednesday for our #CynthiaLin250K Celebration Live Drawing where I'll be giving away the Cynthia Lin Signature Uke (CK-14 CL model) and other prizes!  Follow me @cynthialinmusic to be notified when I go Live.

I've extended the deadline to enter the Giveaway, so you still have time to share a video and enter to win!  Visit this post on Instagram for full details, and visit the tag #CynthiaLin250K to watch other giveaway entry videos.  Be sure to like and leave some nice comments for your fellow ukers. :)  The CL Signature Uke winner will be drawn at random and is not based on your playing ability - all are welcome to enter, give it a shot!

Happy shopping!  Good luck to all who enter the giveaway, and hope you can join me to celebrate!

Cynthia, The format you use for your chord charts is great. What program are you using? Could you possibly provide tips, a link, or even a tutorial on making chord charts? It would be really useful for songs I've "translated" from guitar, and songs I've written.

Some notes on how to navigate being a patron would be useful. How does one give suggestion for next song? Can only top tier people access "Fire and Rain" from this month" I joined, but am questioning the point---a list of "how to's" might be helpful.

Sugar .

Hi Karen, patreon isn't the easiest thing to navigate! If you're on tier $5 or above you can access the live lessons. You can look back through the posts too and click the tag like button on the bottom, that groups all the similar posts together (e.g live lessons, jams, chord charts etc) Have you joined the Facebook group for Cynthia Lin patrons? I'd definitely recommend it! Loads of helpful info on there and direct links to the videos etc which you can then access depending on your tier. Hope that helps :)

I love the ability to pick and choose songs at my pace. I worked along with the intermediate class for shallow yesterday even though it was originally held weeks ago. I had a great time.

Hi Cecilia, on a Facebook page (for Patrons) Cynthia recently answered this question (see answer below in quotes): "I created the design with the help of a professional information designer, and I manually craft each chord in a design app"

Cecilia Vore

Thank you, Angel. I should check the facebook page every now and then. I'm really having second thoughts about the whole facebook experience. So thank you for posting the answer here. Hmmm. I was hoping for an easy fix, but I should be able to follow Cynthia's lead without much difficulty.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write, Sugar...I do appreciate it. Will connect with the FB group....did not know whether it was "legit" and supported by Cynthia Lin or fan based. Will check it out...thanks!

Sugar .

The FB group is legit - set up by Cynthia! It's a great resource. I've sent you a pm on FB too offering help so look out for it! Also replied to your other comment on patreon with a bit more info :)

You give suggestions for songs in the "Monthly Vote" post, in the comments.

Jenny Selig

The monthly vote happens here on Patreon. The "Upcoming Events" post for each month tells you the dates, as does the Patron calendar (linked in each "Community Notes" section at the end of many posts). Sorry for my delayed reply. Patreon did not let me know you'd responded to my comment. :)
