Aloha Patrons! 

Happy Mother's Day!  I am thrilled to share a new music video for Moon River, created in collaboration with modern dancer Miche Wong and filmmaker Robert Gomez Hernandez.  On this Mother's Day, we dedicate this piece to our mothers, who love this song and inspire us to follow our passion. 🌈💕

Shot in Oakland Chinatown and Alameda, this Moon River dance film captures the artist's creative journey through two worlds, the internal and the external, the reality and the imagination, and how those two worlds come together.

I hope you enjoy this video, and please share with your mom and the mothers who inspire you.

Brings tears to my eyes on the first Mother's Day after the death of my mom...Thank you, Cynthia. <3 This is one of the songs I learned in class with you & would play for my mom when she was quickly declining into Parkinson's Disease and dementia. Mom was my inspiration for picking up the ukulele almost 5 years ago, as she played when she lived in Oahu in her early 20's.
