Beatles Jam! Join us for our February CL x Ukulenny Community Jam (Patreon)

{Public post}

Aloha, uke friends!

It's time for another Community Jam with Ukulenny! It's really special to have Lenny here in Hawaii - what a true joy to be able to play and sing together in real life!  All are invited to join us on YouTube at noon Hawaii Time on Saturday 2/27 for this month's free Virtual Concert and Jam. Download the songbook pdf below, then strum and sing along at home with hundreds of folks across the world!

February theme: Beatles Duets

Lenny and I decided to do a Beatles Jam while he's in town so that we could enjoy recreating the amazing Beatles harmonies.  For this month's song list, we've chosen Beatles "Duets" - tunes where the vocal arrangements truly shine.  Please note that many of these songs are intermediate level.  I encourage Beginners to sit back, enjoy the concert, and play single strums and sing along where you can.  After the livestream, you can watch the recording to practice. (And you can also review last month's beginner-focused Easy Breezy Jam, or the Beatles Livestream #1 and Beatles Livestream #2, both of which featured easier songs).

The Songbook download is free for everyone, thanks to the support of the CL Patron Community!  #madewithPatrons  If you are not yet a Patron and would like to support more virtual Community Jams and participate in monthly live uke events, please consider joining us on Patreon: http://patreon.com/join/cynthialin

We'll work on making more play-alongs for these songs.  Special shoutout to Rudy Ramirez (who runs the Ukulele Lessons and Tutorials facebook group, and has supported SF Uke Jam / SF Uke Fest from the beginning) for his chart contributions to this month's Songbook!

Most folks like to have the music on a separate device or printed out for reference during the jam.  Ukulenny and I will perform these songs without much instruction, and these jams are intended to be play-alongs for all levels, so I encourage you to have fun and play along at a level that's comfortable for you. For the harder songs, you can just sit back and enjoy the show. The livestream will also be recorded, so you can practice along with the recording afterwards.
