Aloha, uke friends!

The community that gathered around this year's 100 Days of Ukulele Project (Jan. 31 through May 10, 2021) was as warm and welcoming as in years past, and more people participated -- and more people completed the goal of sharing 100 videos in 100 days -- than ever before. Last year, I decided to create a post-project Showcase video, which featured many of the talented and dedicated players, and it was such a delightful summary of the year's project that we're coming back for round two! This year we will be celebrating our 2021 participants with a new Showcase video that will premiere live on YouTube this Friday, June 18th. I hope you'll join me in the live chat to watch and cheer on the performers!

Participants who opted in to the video Showcase were asked to share a 1 minute clip or compilation from their 100 Day Project, along with a quote about what the project has meant to them. Many people shared original songs or collaborations with friends and family (online and IRL). The Project was a lifeline for many of us in a time of global pandemic, loss, and disconnection from loved ones. I am moved by how participants came together to create community and make music. I hope their work will inspire you as much as it has inspired me!

I also want to give a special thanks to Dorian Davis and Jenny Selig for helping to organize the 100+ submissions, and to our intrepid editor Eric Mayrand (who also edited last year's Showcase) for the enormous amount of work that went into putting the video together.

I look forward to seeing you online. Be sure to say hello in the chat and leave some encouraging comments for our performers!

This is wonderful. I am so happy for the people who participated in the 100 days project. I’ve been smiling the whole time watching the videos, hearing the singing and ukuleles and reading the individual comments.

This video is amazing! Seeing all the familliar faces, the astounding talent and creativity, the improvement and confidence, and the joy of making music! I am still working on my 100 days....congratulations to all that have completed it!

Stefanie Oepen

Allyn McColley

Cecile Tue

This is amazing, i joined you guys too late. I wonder if I can my own 100 days challenge but still able to post and share with you here? (my 1st time with Patreon, still figuring out things). Happy strumming

Jenny Selig

Hello and welcome! You can do your own 100 Days Challenge in any social media group but I don't think there's a good way to share it here on Patron. Most people use Facebook or Instagram or YouTube (or a combination). Do you use any of those sites?

Victor (Vicalely)

I submitted a video to the google form and it was not added to the video.

Jenny Selig

Hi, Victor! Sorry about that! Everyone wasn't able to included in the video, unfortunately. Because of the number of people participating this year (and last year, too), priority was given to those who got closest 100 videos by the "official" 100th Day a few months ago. But I see that you're on Day 21 now and I encourage you to keep going! You're not alone -- there are others still working on 100, too! :)
