Aloha, Patrons!

Here's a fresh song that features both picking and strumming - and I created a tutorial that's perfect for a 5-minute practice session. We'll review this one on Thursday at our Beginner Live Jam, so use this video to practice! 😊

Find the pdf chord chart attached to the bottom of this post for your convenience.

Join our monthly Beginner Live Jam this Thursday

In the monthly Beginner Live Jam, we learn to "jam" by playing through several beginner-friendly songs from our Beginner Live Jam Songbook, which currently features 41 songs and is updated a couple of times a year. Last month, I introduced the lesson for "Save Your Tears" and we focused on techniques like the chucking strum and basic fingerpicking at a slower, beginner-friendly pace.

Beginner Live Jam Patrons ($10+) can access the recording of this lesson here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/july-2021-live-53433902

We typically meet the 2nd Thursday of the month at 5:30pm Pacific time, and the recording is available to watch immediately after the live event. If you are a beginner and would like to spend more time on the basics, then I invite you to check out the Beginner Jam tier ($10+). You can upgrade for the month to check it out and get access to recorded jams from the archive as well as our Beginner Live Jam Songbook. You can changed your pledge back whenever you like.
