Aloha, Patrons!
The 100 Days of Ukulele Project 2022 begins this weekend, on February 13th! Players of all levels can participate in sharing their daily ukulele practice - it's all about your creative journey. The secret: Consistency builds confidence. Remember my mantra: practice 5 minutes a day, it's good for your brain and good for your soul. ❤️
To kick off this year's Project, join me for a livestream TODAY (Friday 2/11, at 12pm Hawaii Time) where I'll share tips on how to record yourself, and chat about different ways that you can set up your project to suit your personal goals.

You can watch the replay using this same link. Do you have questions about recording yourself? Let me know in the comments, and feel free to share your current recording set up. You can and should start with whatever's easiest, like your phone or tablet or laptop. Whatever you use to Zoom with will work perfectly fine! I'll also talk about other ways to improve your video, including lighting, framing, external mics, and apps for editing.

Ways to join our 100 Days of Uke 2022 Project Communities
You can do the project on your own at anytime, but I think all the 100 Days alumni will agree, it helps to join one of our Project Communities and have the moral support of hundreds of folks around the world who are also doing the Project. You can join just to support others and observe how the Project works - and maybe be encouraged to join next year!
Join our 2022 Facebook group: https://bit.ly/100days2022fb
Our Community Manager Jenny leads the group, and we have several moderators and group experts who can help answer questions and offer words of encouragement and support. Thank you to our amazing team: Christina, Dori, Valerie, Terry, Mo, Amanda, Tina, Ray, Vanessa. These are all folks who have done the Project for two or more years, and just want to give back to the community.
The Facebook group is private, and honestly, it's probably the happiest place on the internet. 🥰 It's one of the only reasons I use Facebook!
Use the Instagram hashtag: #100DaysUke2022 and tag @clukesquad
Follow the hashtag to lend your support and drop encouraging comments to this year's participants! @clukesquad will be sharing milestone vids for the IG participants.
Are you joining this year on IG? Comment below with your handles so folks can follow.
Use the YouTube hashtag: #100DaysUke2022 https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/100daysuke2022
Hashtags on YouTube are relatively new, and we haven't really used them in the past, but let's see if we can build a community around the tag this year. Will you be posting on YouTube?
Roll Call: Are you participating??
Will you join the project this year? What would make this year's 100 Days of Ukulele meaningful and sustainable for you? Have you participated in past years? What advice would you share with those who are joining for the first time or on the fence about joining?
Enjoy the journey, friends. Look forward to seeing you along the way.
🌺 cynthia.
