Stefan didnt cause any drama. Its everyone else, come on now. You can say that about Stefan in the previous episodes but not in this one. And so far we have not REALLY seen Damon have any good side, in the flashback, maybe but in present day, so far, not.

I think Stefan is terrible about secrets. He shares ones that should be kept quiet like Katherine is a vampire. He doesn't tell ones but should be brought out into the light like Isabel is a vampire. I think he makes these situations worse. He isn't the source of the drama but he definitely kicks it up a notch

by always believing that he knows what's right like a truly self-righteous ass, Stefan causes these miscommunication issues and isolates Elena from information and it ALWAYS ends up hurting Elena. He was standing in the middle of 3 people making them only communicate with him like a crazy game of Chinese whispers that only built up resentment between the 3 people. And it ended badly for every single person. Big shock. Damon is Damon and he's hurting but I don't think anyone is out here making excuses for his behaviour, the show PUNISHES him time and time again. But Stefan is a problem too, not in the same way, but the way he psychologically fucks with people in the name of "doing the right thing..." Stefan is just as messy as Damon, he just wraps it in a pretty bow. And you know what, they're both great characters that keep the drama coming. Love to see it.

So this is how i learn The Horror Bandwagon has never watched The OC - the lack of screaming with excitement when Julie freaking Cooper (Melinda Clarke) rocks up as Matt's Mom !!! Melinda Clarke was also in Maggie Q's Nikita and was one of the most iconic guest-stars in Xena Warrior Princess.
