Excellent reaction. I completely agree with the vampire civil war great conversion theory with Lestat on one side fueled of course by Gabriella and Armand and the Great Law truthers on the other. Neither side is right and it will get bloody.

Two more points because I love this show and you guys. Love the theory about the world falling away when you fall in love and because Armand realized that at the time of turning, it manifested that way in their bond. Also a little concerned at Lestat's throwaway line of vampires getting antibiotics and looking at Daniel who then shuts down the interview. Maybe him not having powers is indicative of more and I'm concerned.

Loved Lestat's pettiness and the braids today haha! Also, also also also, there is SO MUCH I want to scream about, because I feel like one of my theories was proven right by this episode, but I'm not sure how much I could actually say, because I developed the theory after watching season 2 and BEFORE reading anything from the books but then read more BECAUSE of the theory and found out that there's a Whole Thing. So I will just... not talk about said theory, to be safe, but please know that I am internally screaming, and to other fans who know, You Know lmao. Hopefully we will see more next week and we can all scream about it properly without it getting into spoiler territory.

my trip-up was the body cam footage gets uploaded elsewhere, like that's the entire point. it records and cops can't (or shouldn't be able to) edit it. doesn't matter if they nabbed it off the cop. lestat would have had to corrupt the technology the moment the cop set foot on the bus, which he did not, lmao.

I prefer this direction with the characters. From the start, this show took an entirely new look from the novels. The Tom/Brad movie followed too close for my taste and couldn't live up to the characters in my mind from reading the text. This is a fresh breath and it's so super sexy and dark!✌️💖

Just for clarification, Armand only messed with two things in Louis mind, he said to Louis that he was the one who saved him in the trial and he erased the memory of Louis's suicidal attempt in San Francisco (also, we don't know for sure if it is true that Louis ask him to do this last one). I know a lot of reactors assume that this means that Armand also was responsible for everything Louis misremembered but that is not the case. I personally think of course Louis deserves an apology but I think Armand also deserves an apology from Louis. Louis used the fact that he knew Armand had low self esteem to use him for hurting Lestat. He chooses Armand in Magnus lair to hurt Lestat. Armand knows this. And Louis knows that Armand knows. Even before of that, Armand shows himself to Louis as a submissive partner and Louis takes the role of dominance, knowing that all of this comes from Armand's past and trauma of being raped and sold multiple times since childhood. So... I feel not enough people understand that in that relationship both were abusers. It is only that we saw what happened though Louis perspective so I guess is harder to see Armand's side.

There til the end! Been watching this with a friend, and we've had alarm bells go off, just not about pseudo-Claudia. We've had alarm bells go off about Lestat's mother - we're not sure (specially how unreliable Lestat is as a narrator and Lestat seeing the dead/haunted by his past) if she's actually there - i'm doubting if she's actually there on the bus in the final scene, my friend is wondering if she hasn't been there at all the entire time - his only caveat being that Daniel has definitely seen and reacted to her, but also, given that Lestat can influence Daniel's mind....

I recommend a song called 'Bloodsport" performed live at the o2 to get a feel for his wonderful performing and singing style. You can find it on YouTube.
