Both appear...broken in a way. Kat's broken because she and Natani had become good friends with each other, and had had a few long talks, and Keith is broken because Natani is the best friend he has, and the closest he has to a lover... both are trying their best to support the other. This picture is so emotional...

Keith was just not having a good time with the death of Laura, and now Natani suffering. Glad he finally caught a break in the end and Natani is A-OK.

Indeed. However, as long as Natani is still alive, Keith's worries won't be over for a long time, especially with Clovis lurking in wait. (What's taking him so long anyway?) Plus, since he's suffered bereavement more than once, I can only imagine Keith becoming increasingly clingy and paranoid as the danger piles up! I'd be paranoid as a squirrel on caffeine if I were him! =S

I want to say a month or two. I know throughout the entire comic, it has been about 6 months but I cannot recall the length of certain arcs. I just know going to and from the Basitin Isles by ship ate a bulk of the time.

Gosh, the world that picture paints is in a state of grave disrepair, and the collective grief and want for mental support by each other is the glue, trying to put at least something back together. I love, how expressive Tom can make his sketches and look forward to seeing more of those 😍

Well, I can imagine that it's been years since Natani and Zen dissociated themselves with Clovis. That would've given him MORE than enough time to devise his machinations. And, with everyone gathered in one place at Trace's estate, what better time than now?

Natani's coma to her and Keith reuniting at the estate was exactly 1 week. Keith locked himself in his room for several days right after the island, Laura's end arc was one day, and the next day was Natani's incident. I'm going to guess 2 weeks? though that might not be accurate. Remember too that Keith had to live floating on a raft with little food and water from the basitin island to fox lands.

Feels. This pic really shows how alone Keith is, and how miserable he must be. Lost everyone he loved from his childhood a week ago, his BF (best friend or boyfriend) appears to be dying, and he alienated himself from Trace and Flora. At least, in hindsight, he caught a break here with a happy ending and only had to suffer for a week.
