Making Longer Videos (Patreon)

Hey everybody, just wanted to check in and talk a bit about production at the moment and how I want to move forward when it comes to creating upcoming content.

At the moment I've been trying to keep video flow high, with multiple videos per month, a lot of this content has been shorter videos that are quicker to make ("Character Action Games", "Just Action Games"), or slightly longer videos still under the 20 minute range ("The Trouble With Tools", "The Trappings of Time", "Klonoa") which tend to be on subjects that don't require too much extra leg work or research on my part since I'm pretty familiar with the ins and outs already.

But I'm really itching to crack on with bigger projects (continuing Road to the Rocket Launcher, the Ninja Gaiden videos, Overblood 2, etc...)

The only way these longer videos are possible is thanks to you guys, because without the extra push of income from Patreon, it would be impossible to make more infrequent longer videos and subsist purely off Youtube ad revenue. Without you guys, the channel would JUST have to be shorter vids.

That said, lately I keep wanting to make sure I'm providing as much content as possible for you guys, (my patrons), which means I end up putting off the longer videos, even though it's only because of you guys that I have the option to create bigger projects to begin with. I just keep worrying that I'm not giving enough back if I'm not making multiple videos and that ya'll might think I'm slacking off.

So basically I'm here to keep you guys in the loop and let you know, that if there's longer periods of non-activity on the channel it's because I'm working on a bigger project. I'm gonna try to put out shorter content between big uploads, but I want to take some time to focus on the bigger video series for a bit. I can't make a Ninja Gaiden Retrospective or Road to the Launcher episode in the same amount of time it takes to make a Klonoa video or Ratchet Review so I hope you all understand, and I look forward to producing some heavy hitters.
