Why in the world would I care about this, Kate?!? I already watched — and loved! — the full Patreon version just as soon as I was able! 😁

Since we got clobbered with snow yesterday and this morning, I could use another trip to St Vincent and the warm Caribbean breezes. But I had so much fun with the full reaction, I may just watch that again. This is one of the few Disney movies that was inspired by the ride in Disneyland that opened in 1967 and Disney World in 1973. It’s usually the other way around, with many of the rides in both parks inspired by a Disney movie. After the films release and immense success, animatronics of Jack Sparrow and Capt Barbosa were added to the rides to connect them to the movie. The ride at Magic Kingdom is still one of my favorites. I was waiting and waiting for you to recognize Zoey Saldana as Anamaria. Maybe you did and you just didn’t vocalize it. The woman seamlessly fits into any character she plays. Not all treasure is silver and gold, Movie Date mate. Sometimes it comes in the form of a movie reaction. And this one was priceless.

WHY!!!! Why is the rum gone! I was thoroughly entertained Kate...again...when...just then! Thank you for making me smile...laugh...grin...chuckle...chortle..ha-ha...and laugh with you!

Kate, very cool. If you get a chance to go to Disneyland ( California) you can take that ride. You travel in a row boat until you go down two water slide , turn a corner and there you are in the middle of a pirate battle , with town leaders being dunked in a well. The next area you see the pirates in jail trying to get the dog to give the keys to the cell. This bit was exactly copied. The captain pirate was not the Jack Sparrow character . ( that character was added after this movie came out. The original pirate captain was the most exspensive animatronics ever made at $50,000. I went on that ride when it first opened in 1973. (I was 19 at the time) I went on that ride at least three times on every visit to Disneyland. Good Memories and lovely to expierence your joy and laughter throughout.

I don't remember that film being that fun the first time I watched it.

I think it’s fair to say this film and Lord of The Rings: The Return of The King were Orlando Bloom’s best movies that year.
