My Blood hits different when you pair the song’s groove with the music video’s story. There’s something powerful in the way Twenty One Pilots explores loyalty, protection, and the lengths we go to for the people we love. The visuals shift between memory, imagination, and reality — and that twist near the end changes everything.

By the end...I WAS STUNNED!

Thanks for being here and making these dives so meaningful. We’re eating good. 🍽️🎶

Tyler has not explained the video, so the story could be representing an imaginary friend that a lot of kids have, an alter ego in the Fight Club sense like you said, or another kind of unseen presence, in a spiritual sense. Over all takeaway for me has always been someone/something unseen who has got your back. The question is, are they real? The skeleton hoodies and Halloween party are also a reference to the movie Donnie Darko which is one of my favourite films so finding out Tyler and Josh obviously like that movie too was very cool for me. Tyler dressed as Frank the rabbit from Donnie Darko for Halloween a few years ago.

I love how much you know!

Very cool! I have a movie react channel called Young & Reel. I haven’t been as active on it since starting this channel, but I want to do Donnie Darko. I will watch it soon to get up on that channel.

You could wear Joshs alien costume and your boys skeletons.Nice reaction ! Love this song

Jules

I have the benefit of knowing what's coming! I think we are all trying very hard to leave little footprints in the snow without giving away any spoilers as to what direction we are headed. 😁

Jules

I will subscribe. We were obsessed with it when it came out. It's a weird little movie but a cult classic.

Rebecca Collins

I think the song itself and it’s message can stand alone as a testament to your relationships with your family and close friends that are like blood to you who will be there with you through thick and thin in hard situations. The video depicts a different twist on it to relate more to the lore and how he uses “ defense mechanism modes” ( Morph) to find the strength within himself to fight his own battles.

This music video breaks everybody’s brain a little bit when they first watch it! 😆 I think Tyler even joked one time that this was his favorite music video to make because they barely had to be in it!

Kirsty

Their was some speculation going around that the MV gave off fight club vibes because in some interviews Josh said his favourite movie is fight club

tine sess

So much Donnie darko influence for sure!!!! Down to the voice

Jules

"Wake up"

I was nervous during the second course that the MV was going to get spoiled. I’m glad it didn’t lol

MeowMeow

OMG you got Shamalamed! I love that! Thank goodness nobody spoiled it for you! Tyler and Josh said this was their favorite MV to shoot cuz they didn’t have to most anything.

Make it with Alex

Fight Club is one of the boys favourite movies, as it The Truman Show
