There’s something special about hearing Awkward in two totally different worlds — the 2017 live performance and the acoustic version. Same song, same heart, but completely different energy. The live cut is sharp and punchy, full of that classic Band-Maid fire. The acoustic take slows everything down just enough to let the emotion breathe.

I could be wrong, but seeing both back-to-back really shows how much depth these musicians bring to every arrangement. It’s the kind of versatility that keeps pulling me deeper into their catalogue.

This special acoustic performance was part of an entire Christmas concert. You won't believe how beautiful all these songs were, especially the hard rock songs... so different. Some of them were completely rearranged. Currently, I recommend “Puzzle” (during a “normal” Okyuji) and ‘Time’ (from this Christmas concert). And you might also be interested in a cover of “Time” on the wonderful Youtube channel BMCD (Band Maid Community Discord).

Since you are going to be doing the LCS concert soon I recommend doing the live version of Page from LCS and from this acoustic set as a twofer. Page is also the lead-off song on the next album Conqueror.
