Now that Breaking Bad is coming to an end, lets do a poll for the next BIG show (big as in more than 3 seasons)!

Dont worry, we are doing El Camino, that will come in place of next weeks TV episode.

Season 3 of Black Mirror will be over the next 3 weeks, so whatever wins this poll will come after that.

The weeks count next to each show is an indication for how long each season will likely take to finish. Star Trek is unknown as TOS has 29 episodes running 50 minute each so IF that wins, we will need to figure out how to approach it.

Dwight Scarn

Dexter is amazing!! One of the best shows I've ever seen. The lead is a phenomenal actor.

Henry Sanchez

Only new to George for stranger things means I’m going to prioritize Dexter and Succession

Baron Imhoof

I would like to see you do Battlestar Galactica, both the mini-series and the full series that follows.

A B P

Dexter for sure!!!

Julian G

The Boys Season 3, GEN V season 1, and The Boys Season 4. Just a suggestion, since you guys did Season 2, and it was rad!

Maiki

Couple of TV shows i'd like to suggest: The Night Of (2016) - 8 episodes Sharp Objects (2018) - 8 episodes Mare Of Easttown (2021) - 7 episodes

Pete Lloyd

Succession is one of my new favourites along with Billions. Dexter seasons 1-4 are great. After that it's rough, in my opinion

streaky

There's quite a lot of people doing Mr Robot and Succession right now, so even though they're my picks I'm not going to be mad.

Jeff K.

If Stranger Things was new to both of them, I would be more on board with it. Not as much fun when one of them has already seen it, most of the time. So, BCS and Succession get my votes.

dudewheresmycar

Peaky Blinders should have been on the list. But The Sopranos is fantastic.

Felreign

Hope you guys will one day consider Legend of Korra again

FWPJR.

I really hope Sopranos wins, the only other shows I’ve seen on this poll are BCS and Mr. Robot and Stranger Things. And imo Sopranos is way better than all of them ( BCS is really great though and Mr. Robot has it’s great moments and Stranger Things is ok ) But I have a very strong feeling that BCS will win just because the BB reactions are so popular, but no matter what as long as one of the three I mentioned wins I’ll definitely watch. But I’ll still watch the full length movie reactions even if I don’t watch the next TV show, you two did a fantastic job reacting to BB. I really enjoyed watching every reaction, I pay because imo no one does reactions better than you two. But I am kind of disappointed to not see Sons of Anarchy on this poll, I hope you do that somewhere down the line.

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Deadwood has some of the greatest dialogue in all of TV history but Better Call Saul’s definitely brilliant too. Fun choices overall

Śéáń

Very tough choices, happy with pretty much any of them. The only reason I didn't go with BCS is I think a break between BB and it would be good, just so that it's not too much of a continuum. Also would love another excuse to watch Deadwood again, too few people have done it.

leriaz

Oh man Mr. Robot is fighting such an uphill battle here. Maybe next year if it keeps showing up in polls :D

sarah preston

Consider adding Justified for the next poll

Lost1Sole

Another oh-so-lonely vote for "Person Of Interest". It's got early AI development in the background!

Dustin Duvall

I wouldn't mind a breaking bad universe break. Voting sopranos and succession 🙂

Gary Poussard

Looks like it's going to be Saul that wins it. Fingers Crossed.

Phillyman!!

If you don’t mind me asking Maybe you said this in a previous video, but George what happened to your back? Or is it general tightening when you sit for too long? Hoping for BCS 🙏🙏🔥🔥💯💯

CarolynK

I'd also recommend The Leftovers for a future poll. It's nothing short of brilliant.

JoeNotCharles

Holding out hope for Orphan Black someday!

FWPJR.

Well, BCS is already way ahead and this was just put up. So I can already see how this will be going lol

Matt

The Sopranos is widely considered the best tv show ever made so hopefully you guys do it eventually!

יוסי פורקוש

stranger things is a must, also JUSTIFIED and BATTLE STAR GALACTICA if you havnt

Will Sofer

I know it’s been suggested several times before, so I hope Fringe ends up on the next poll. Easily one of the best shows that I’ve ever seen.

Dan

It's a forlorn hope but I'm going to suggest Life (2007-09) starring Damien Lewis (Band of Brothers, Homeland, Billions) as a TV series for someday. It's underrated with a great hook: Damien Lewis' character is a police officer returned to the force after being set up for murder, serving time, and being cleared. He has millions of dollars from the settlement, some Zen enlightenment, and a desire for vengeance.

Matt

HBO fans rally behind The Sopranos! It's the only one that has a shot out of the three.

JayF

Much as I do love BCS I think a break from that universe is the fairest choice for now. Would love to see ST:TOS as that would lead to some of the movies finally being watched. I want Simone to have a redemption arc where she regrets walking out on the Abrams reboot movie when Leonard Nimoy shows up (she admitted to this).

Dag Einar Bergli

I'm going Dexter and Deadwood. Let's stop this Stranger Things hysteria. It's not that good. Better Call Sall is very good, but I want something different after BB. Sopranos is also great, but I stand by my picks.

Kieran

Better Call Saul is amazing but the Sopranos is 10/10 hands down

Ryan Morgan

I get Saul, but stranger things? Ugh.

Simon Clifton

To put my twopennorth in, although not a long series (only two series long of 7 episodes each), can I put in a call for Spaced? Given your mutual love for the Cornetto Trilogy, seeing where Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Jessica Hynes really honed their comedy writing and direction would be fantastic! Although if it’s shows with multiple series you’re after, there is a certain UK show that’s been around for a while… (Diddly Dum, Diddly Dum, Diddly Dum, Diddly Dum, Diddly Dum, Diddly Dum, Diddly Dum OOO Eeee OOOOO etc)

Justtired

Better Call Saul may be the greatest spinoff show of all time. It’s possibly even better than Breaking Bad.

The boy who cried WTF

I have mixed feelings about Stranger Things. While seasons 1 and 2 were quite interesting, seasons 3 and 4 where a mix of boring/annoying/cringe to me. I've decided to not watch the next season if there will be one.

Henry Sanchez

Sons of Anarchy is my favorite show of all time btw

Śéáń

I've said this before but at the risk of being annoying A suggestion for the intermediate short series post-Black Mirror from me is Barry Definitely a show up ye're alley in terms of comedy, drama, character and some competence-porn (mixed in with equally entertaining incompetence as a foil to said competence-porn)

faultylogic

What about the Orville? It's Seth McFarlane's homage to Star Trek.

memofrancisco283

Better Call Saul is a definite watch for any Breaking Bad fans. A lot will say it is a better series than Breaking Bad. After I watched Better Call Saul; my own personal opinion of course; is BCS is a slow burn in comparison to Breaking Bad. BB episodes came across as genuinely hit after hit after hit, in with BCS episodes can be dragged out. However, the pay off is overly worth the wait. The similarities with both series is, the writing. TOP NOTCH MASTERPIECES. And, even after watching El Camino, you still have not completed the full scope of Vince Gilligan & Peter Gould Breaking Bad universe without completing Better Call Saul.

Kevin Ehle

I liked Better Call Saul, but too many boring episodes.

Parabolica

I loved succession but based on why george and Simone hated The Expanse - found none of the characters likable - I fear they’d feel the same way. It is very enjoyable though, given EVERYONE is unlikable so you can just watch the melee. Deadwood is awesome but will never win. BCS is awesome but I think a break from BB is good as the stories are totally different. So Sopranos it is.

pretzels4wetzel

Although I’m a bit iffy on reactions where one of you has seen it, I think just watching the first season of Stranger Things isn’t that bad. Plus I think it’s a pretty popular show that not many other reaction channels are watching *right now* and could probably bring more viewers but you know… that’s just my hypothesis.

streetduck

I was hoping to see Twin Peaks here just to see how many votes it would get (i don't see it ever winning)

Stewart Denew

Of the suggestions above, I went for Stranger Things. Alternative options I'd like to see; Farscape Babylon 5 Sharpe (technically not a big series for number of seasons but a series of feature-length episodes)

beefjerkywizard

Stranger things, Sopranos, and then Saul. Let's go!!!

Thexx

I hope Doctor Who makes it at some point. Not a bad selection in the meantime. What to pick though?

Zhivko Yakimov

A quick note on Succession. While it may appear overrated and a bit snobbish, it is certainly not the case, and all the awards the show received are fully deserved. It has one of the best ensemble casts in TV history, rivalling The Wire or The Sopranos. Now, the story is about a group of highly unlikeable people, so have that in mind, but acting performances and the story are still great.

FischerMax98

Lot of good shows here, but hopefully after 5 seasons of Breaking Bad, folks will want something a little different and faster moving. Guess not. Voting for Dexter anyway gosh darn it.

Big Gee

Let go Sopronos!!!

Shonnicus

I want to watch Better Call Saul, but want a some time in between Breaking Bad. Otherwise so many great shows to choose from.

BoredLittleLady

I know it was in a previous poll but Queen's Gambit is a good show. Also, I'm interested to know if you guys would be interested in watching the Avatar the Last Airbender live-action Netflix show? So far, they only have one season. As for a big show, I have literally rewatched a show with 7 seasons a bunch of times, it is not for everyone but I'm recommending it, Once Upon A Time. It's a fairytale show.

lovemoose

As much as I want to watch Better Call Saul, I'm excited at the idea of you guys watching Stranger Things so I hope that wins :)

Simon Pegged Me

Woo hoo! Deadwood is in the mix! It's my favorite television drama of all time. Hope you get to react to it.

Christopher Carson

If y'all want emotions, hit up Afterlife. Good comedy/drama, but hard to get through an episode without tearing up.

Captain

Mr Robot and Deadwood are amazing and there are very little reactions to them yet. I feel like everyone reacts to stranger things which only shines in season 1 IMO. Better Call Saul should definitely be done at some point since we just finish Breaking Bad

James Kennedy

Mr. Robot! The greatest show of all-time

Elvenwitch

Looking forward to some comedy or fantasy sometimes.

Jon

i voted for better call saul cause i really think its the best show of all time. however mr robot and sopranos are also great.

Rupert Purcat

'Grimm' is great show you would both enjoy. Also 'Upright' for some Aussie flavour.

Joe Mallard

Spartacus, but that would be nearly impossible to edit.

Courtney

Deadwood and Fleabag would be my next two picks for you guys to watch.

Ian Hunt

You should give Hannibal a go

Alex Laime

Better ... Call ... Saul! IMO even better than BB.

Alexrandom

To me, only soprano and better call Saul are really worth the time investment. Hope they win :)

Sean Cole

Sons of Anarchy, its better than The Sopranos

PeppermintWizardOfAus

Stranger things, better call Saul and sopranos would be great series to swap between season to season

GnolRevilo

Concerned a little with burnout if we go straight to Better Caul Saul after recently finishing Breaking Bad.

MasterElodin

I'm just happy Mr robot is even on here. That means there is a chance right ? Also what about the boys? With season 3, 4 and Gen V out it would be a great time to get back into that soon. Maybe after black mirror?

Tim T—

I voted for BCS, but my heart is with my second vote for Deadwood.

Dan

I'm surprised Star Trek the OS is on the poll and not Star Trek TNG. TNG hit some awesome thoughtful sci-fi/philosophical/ethical subjects. Should definitely check it out. Popcorn In Bed has fallen in love with the show already.

Ben Towle

Better call Saul is the best show out of these by a mile

BoredLittleLady

I have recommendations for big animated shows. X-Men the animated series and the new X-Men 97, that's a continuation to where the original left off. Also, I grew up on X-Men Evolution and that's a completely separate show that I love!

Florian

God... all of them 😅

Date Mike

come on people ! ... let's choose something else that "Better Call Saul", ok ? 😕 it's a good show, that's not the point, ... but we have many good shows on that list, so why not take this opportunity to do something else, a different vibe, a different universe ? 🤔 ... you know... adding a little diversity on our CineBinge experience, right ? 😊

David Dotting

There are literally no wrong answers on this list.

Jeff I.

I voted for Stranger Things instead of BCS just to get a really good show with a very different style/tone than the BB universe after being in it for so long. Also had to vote for Succession, but I doubt it's mainstream enough to ever win a poll (all the awards aside).

Ronny Boss

Oh man I hope Deadwood wins

Steve

Deadwood is my favorite show of all time. It would be very interesting to see a reaction.

Daniel

Bojack Horseman would be epic if you'd consider an animated show. It's the best animated show I've ever seen by far.

Young Blood Priest

Beef didn’t make the list. 😞 Anyway, I went with Star Trek and Sopranos.

Sheens

Crazy how Succession and Mr Robot are 2 of the best shows ever made and they're doing this poorly in a poll

Mr. Writhms

"Ash vs. Evil Dead"... maybe for the next poll? Or "Fargo"? And I am pleasantly surprised to see the original "Star Trek" series listed. Since you're open to that, how about the old 1960s "Batman" series? I think that would get a lot of laughs.

dieselbeast

Here's to The Sopranos being reacted to one day, maybe sometime next year lol it was regarded by many and Rolling Stones Magazine The number one Tv show of all time, its pure perfection! With out The Sopranos there would be no breaking bad BCS etc.

myinniemademedoit

Peaky Blinders is great show you should consider in the future. Each season is only 6 episodes too, so it could take a short series spot. 6 seasons though.

Trevor Rotan

You guys should watch Dark instead of Stranger Things.

Morion Williams

Should really watch Farscape, you both will absolutely love it.

mojo shivers

I mean—great options. Stranger Things and Dexter are amazing, but it feels dirty not to do Better Call Saul at this point. It’s like you had your fun with Breaking Bad, but are sneaking out the next morning when the real relationship is just getting going in Better Call Saul. You’d be missing out in two characters in the Breaking Universe that are never seen in Breaking Bad, and one of whom only gets a slight one-time mention by Saul. That would be heartbreaking for you guys to miss out on two superb performances.

Tits McGee

Please watch Deadwood! There have been maybe 3-4 other channels that have watched it and I really want to watch it with reactors I actually enjoy! 🤣It is such an amazing show. Ian McShane is one of the most underrated actors ever.

Stan the Man

Stranger Things beating The Sopranos? Whatever happened there.

Stan the Man

The Sopranos losing to Better Call Saul & stranger things? Frankly I’m depressed & ashamed.

Kevin

Voted for BCS because its just that good. But one day I would love to see yall react to Succession.

DDK

Better Call Saul, then Succession! (I’m a hardcore Trekkie, but am more here for TNG than TOS but am still pumped for Simone to introduce George to Trek in general 🖖🏾)

16gaborp

Put sopranos at the top of the list lol

William E Cervantes

Where's The Boys? Just kidding. But imagine though. Top tier reactors for such a top tier show.

PDP1472

Poor Deadwood; but I'm not unhappy we're probably bulldozing our way through the Methaverse instead. And another vote here for adding Farscape(probably in vain) in a future list.

Daniel Bjork

Well you Have to do Better Call Saul but Succession is also absolutely must see.

Joe

Oh please, please give Deadwood a go. It's one of the best shows ever and no one reacts to it. Ian McShane is mesmerising in it.

JBK405

I voted for TOS, The Sopranos, and Better Call Saul. Deadwood is also a good show, but not in the same level. TOS will be something of a culture shock since the '60s were very much a different time, but it is foundational for sci-fi and despite the age much of it holds up REALLY well. The Sopranos paved the way for much of our current TV, and is so good that I actually purchased the full series on DVD a few weeks ago even though I already had it on digital. I wanted to OWN it. Better Call Saul is quite simply one of the best shows to come out of modern TV recently. I feel that it deserves all of the accolades that people throw at "Breaking Bad" and then some.

Bill Woods

Stargate SG-1 (10 seasons total). Largely filmed in BC.

Beddoe

I guess no Gilmore Girls until the next poll?

G P

Hoping for BCS or The Sopranos - Stranger Things was totally overhyped

Zinphad

I find it amusing how many folks are calling for a change of pace from BB, and suggesting instead a show about a middle-aged man trying to balance his family life and his life of crime.

Michael Gregory Cote

It is unfortunate that this poll may end with you not picking The Sopranos, maybe the best television series of ALL TIME. If you liked Breaking Bad, just know it was The Sopranos that helped pave the road for it. This show began the modern antihero in television, and still might be the best example of it. Pick it. You won't be as satisfied with any other option....and I am speaking as a fan of some of those options. End of speech.

lastsplash

Deadwood is so good! I hate westerns and still love that show.

Christopher Runyon

Have you considered alternating between the two shows that place first and second in the poll? Like doing one season of the first place show, then doing a season of the second place show?

My name is Jere

We cant let The story unfinnished. Lets get 'Better call Saul' to The top.

Actuarial Lurker

You must do BCS while BB and El Camino are still "raw"

DM DC

Gotta vote Dexter. While the final few episodes of the last season were a little questionable. Overall it's such a good series. Season 4 was my favorite. Stranger Things is also really good. But still gotta go with Dexter for my vote.

Shane Darcy

Dexter would honestly be a great reaction — it has a strangely “fun” vibe to it, despite the dark subject matter. Only seasons 1 - 4 are worth it though. Would be a slog to get through all 8 when the latter half is subpar. That said, I’m happy for BCS to win. Truly a great show. While the stakes might not be as high as BB, you’ll notice the team stepped up their game in certain aspects — namely the cinematography and writing

MPH

Everything on this list is worth watching, except Stranger Things. I just don't like that wildly overrated show. Not sure why exactly.

clh35

I'm sure I'll catch hell for this, but please oh please... do NOT get sucked into the Star Trek world. It ruined another channel I used to watch. If people think BCS will cause burnout, just imagine what 5 years of ST would do. The only thing worse would be any of these anime series that so many other reactors are doing.

Chris Adams

I know the Sopranos won’t win but I really hope you get to it. One of my favorites.

Areokh

I am sure BCS will win and it is an excellent show, i just want to show my support for Mr. Robot. It is a great show that is underrated.

Caelian

As someone who didn't particularly enjoy Breaking Bad (I realise i'm in the minority!), and has been patiently waiting for it to finish so we can watch something else, i'm pretty disappointed that BCS is winning!

CD

I WANT to be outraged; I really do. The Sopranos bringing up a distant 3rd!? I'm not sure, you'll even find it as low as 3rd...in any article, by a "serious" outlet...on the greatest television shows of all time. If it was getting beaten, by BCS; well...everyone sort of saw (Saul) that coming. But...and no offense...Stranger Things!? Just another indication, that a 56yo guy like me...doesn't shape taste and opinion. the way he/we once did. Do I like The Soprano best? Yes. And so would it be the "best", to watch G&S discover and react to it? YES! But...as a big fan of BB (and Bob Odenkirk. Some in my generation, first caught him on a little something called Mr. Show and The Larry Sanders Show, etc); I STARTED BCS...and liked it; but for whatever reason, didn't see it through. I'll take this lump, and try to enjoy the watch-along. Ugh. Outrage...feels so much more satisfying, than this tepid acquiescence :(

michael denny

god please no more breaking bad ugh... .......

UnlicensedOkie

You can tell the age gap in their followers because it’s obvious how many of them have never seen The Sopranos. Missing out on an iconic series

Liesmith

Everyone vote for Severance.

Sam Ferguson

These are all great shows. But although it doesn't look like it'll win (which is okay), I would encourage you to watch 'Deadwood' on your own even if it never makes it to the channel. Its first couple of seasons in particular are maybe some of the best TV ever made. It's grimy and dark and hard to watch sometimes, but it's also full of incredible performances and unexpected (if very morose) humor.

Ghostwriter

Although most of these shows are great, a short break from gritty. grim and/or crime dramas would be welcome. Ted Lasso aside, the menu has been kind of heavy for a while. Would love to see more things like Queen's Gambit or The Good Place sprinkled in the mix.

Dioskur

Please dont stay another year in the Breaking Bad Universe. Mix it up, its allready boring

Dan Holmes

This poll needed It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia

blerbaberpaterb

ppl complaining about more breaking bad universe, did ya'll just forget that they stagger shows between seasons? like theyre literally doing black mirror next, and when thats done, it will be a different tv show to stagger between better call saul. why are people pretending like its gonna be nothing but BCS 4 days a week?

Mr TV Eye

Lots of great choices, but it's so much nicer to watch Better Call Saul when Breaking Bad is still fresh in mind, so it has to be BCS

john blake

Well someday I’ll get Deadwood in the top two…I won’t give up! 🤣

Brad Lowry

I love the list! If "the prequel" wins I will be more than happy, but that I was able to cast my vote for a couple of alternatives made me happy, and I presume is taken into account when the next "TV Poll" comes around. Kudos S&G!

Jon Burrows

I voted for Mr Robot as it is the only one I’ve seen some of other than stranger things and Star Trek. I only watched the first 5 episodes I think and then lost interest. Maybe I’ll give it another shot but I don’t think it is polling well.

Armchair Rizzard

Here's hoping they see the Sopranos one day.

Light Movies

I thought Simone was a Star Trek fan and already saw the TOS.

RipTheRipper

Disappointed ST isn't winning..but it is what it is...

p0sthum4n

Damn, had to vote for The Sopranos, Better Call Saul, and Mr. Robot. TBH I think it's only right that BCS wins now post-Breaking Bad, but I sincerely hope you guys will keep The Sopranos and Mr Robot on your future TV polls (especially Sopranos, which is in 3rd place as of this comment)

TheGrimOne

Dexter has no chance of winning but it's my favorite on the list.

DonkyDave

I had a feeling this poll would have a lot of votes and comments :D

soup3097

Its actually unreal that The Sopranos is not going to win. My preferences are not lining up with this demographic here lmao. Idk why they would include better call saul after already watching breaking bad. lets diversify a bit here

John

Better call Saul and stranger things over the sopranos is mental. It doesn’t hurt to take a break, like experienced in real life. Same should have happened with the breaking bad movie. Then again it also boggles my mind that people would rent out their eyeballs for money, instead of having some say in what they watch.

Feignorance

They should do Peaky Blinders. 6 seasons. 6 episodes per season.

Felreign

I also want to restate my desire for you two to watch Gravity Falls, great show, not too long

G B

BCS is an excellent show, but the Sopranos is one of the greatest shows of all time. Sucks to see it’s a distant third.

Farbod

People sleeping on Mr. Robot. It’s the best show of all time.

G P

Recommending Fawlty Towers, Monty Python's Flying Circus

GBmain

Mr Robot season 1 is great, 2 is decent and I think 3 or 4 was pretty average from memory... but series is well worth a watch, can't believe there's so little interest RECCOMMENDATION - FARGO (TV SERIES) It's been a few years of me recommending it... but I'm not going to give up... I know it doesn't sound interesting or high quality when you hear it, but it truly is one of the all time greats and does the Coen Brothers justice. It has everything George and Simone could possibly want.

Terry Yelmene

Bummed that 'Mr Robot; won't be reacted to here. IMHO, Sam Esmail's psycho-genious masterpiece has simply been overlooked by far too many at this point.

Kevin Morris

I get why, but i really wish you would've been far less safe with these poll choices. Find good shows that haven't been watched to death. Stanger Things has to be some of the blandest vanilla stuff going in the (reaction) world at this point. BCS following FIVE seasons of BB is pretty blah for ppl that don't enjoy that universe. Yes i know you do more than one show at once and I appreciate that, but come on with BCS - it's still a bit ridiculous to go straight from BB imho. Ya couldn't go one single poll without that? My vote in this poll is for the next poll to have more variety and ambition in its choices. Again though i get it - if you are going to spend that much time on something, then it has to appeal to a large portion of ppl, but hopefully you don't just keep going further and further in that direction. Possibly you could do two rounds of polling with like 20 choices of less popular/more unique choices, then do a final poll with the top 5/6. This way you could get away from the norm while still ensuring there will be sufficient interest. Just a thought.

MR

Definitely waiting for "Fargo", but maybe that's not a Big TV Show as such.

Kevin

Can't wait for BCS. Maybe second place staggers with it. But if you want a short show to stagger with it first, highly recommend Severance! Or of course HOTD Season 2 will be done by the time you start BCS.

Eversharpe

Aww man, the fact there's more comments than votes for Deadwood make me a lil sad. That show is just so so great and Ian McShane's performance as Al is possibly one of the greatest villains/antihero ever. It's also one of the best casted shows I've ever seen and as a bonus a Garret Dillahunt double feature. As a suggestion for a future series. Deutschland 83, 86 and 89, it's a very good german spy series. 3 seasons ,8,10,8 eps.

Jay S

It's such a shame not many people know about Black Sails. I hope one day you guys look in to it just a bit, perhaps get the temperature of it by asking some of your peers who have reacted to that show. The writing alone is so good it evokes the feeling that you're actually reading a great novel, but visualised.

Zach D

SOPRANOS OR WE RIOT

Lawrence

Wish Buffy was on this list! New to George I believe :)

Phillyman!!

Just wondering will it be the YouTube version of El Camino or are you going to watch the entire movie like the breaking bad episodes?

Skyruff Creative

Suggestion: “dead like me” 2003 and “the magicians” 2016. If you have both seen these let me know and I will move on to other suggestions. 😜

G P

Too bad to see The Sopranos trailing, its the best show on here.

ScotchBeard78

I know Star Trek TOS is classic and all, but the Next Generation is a lot more fun to watch, tbh. I vote for jumping to that.

yudha

Wow Dexter!? Thats a classic, I would love to revisit that show with you guys

Stephen Stone

I'm one of those people who thought Breaking Bad was a 10/10 show... Then Better Call Saul came out and then I thought that was 12/10.

Jonas

All those are great, but it's criminal that Mr. Robot is so low in the poll. You guys will love it, especially George and especially Simone. Also, Deadwood is also amazing, also.

James Wing

Have you guys watched Bojack horseman yet? If not you should consider it, it’s amazing.

Johnny Liu

Better 👏👏 Call 👏👏 Saul 👏👏

Alex Ch

I know the next long poll is a ways off, but I think we need to include The West Wing. I don’t know if it would be the patrons’ pick, but I it might actually be the show that George and Simone would enjoy the most.

sarCC

Deadwood and Better Call Saul are far and away the best shows on here and the most consistently great throughout their run. And they get better each season.

I voted for Star Trek simply out of hope that it would eventually lead to Next Gen.

Happy Hanukkah

"Big Shows"? That mean we're getting a Bull Durham (1988) reaction?

michael murray

I've voted in this (and will look forward to watching when it probably wins ;) but personally i tend to think some of shows that have been mentioned in comments tip over into the 'far too long' category. Some would likely take years to get through, taking into account season breaks for shorter shows. So anyway, i guess a shorter series poll is coming soonish, so here's my recommendations/suggestions: Devs - 1 season, 8 episodes. Story finished Utopia (the original UK version from 2013, NOT the US remake) - 2 seasons, 12 episodes. Cancelled after 2nd season, but still absolutely worth watching Mr Inbetween - 3 seasons, 26 (short) episodes. Story finished Slow Horses - 3 seasons, 18 episodes - more seasons already filmed, but each season has an end. The English - 1 season, 6 episodes. Story finished Silo - 1 season, 8 episodes. 2nd season due this year, then hopefully two more and it's done Severance - 1 season, 9 episodes. 2nd season hopefully this year The Night Manager - 1 season, 6 episodes. This came out in 2016 and tells a complete story, so until recently i would have said 'story finished', but it was renewed for seasons 2 & 3 earlier this year, no idea what they will be. Also, already mentioned loads by many people but 'The Good place' would be a perfect fit here

Stranger things winning? Jee wiz didn't see that coming

Dwight Scarn

Should watch Interview with the Vampire amc soon!!! It just got renewed for a 3rd season! So underrated!!! They are releasing it on netflix soon!

I'm so confused. I love Better Call Saul. I'd say it's my favorite show on this list. But I really like other shows, too. For some reason I'm concerned that Better Call Saul won't be a good reaction. Again...it's one of my favorite shows of all time, but I don't know if it lends itself to reactions. It's subtle for the most part. Stranger Things would probably be the most fun/emotional reaction. I dunno...I'm cool with whatever everyone picks. I personally liked at least parts of every show on this poll.

Jeff K.

Just finished the first episode of season three of The Bear, which was SO GOOD, and just a reminder: George and Simone, you guys REALLY need to watch The Bear. It's quickly ascending into my top 5 shows of all-time.

Naw

Wonder if Simone went all the way to Season Four of Things, or has only seen One, or Two🤔🤔🤔

BangDroid

I've been raving on about BCS since BB started but now that The Sopranos are an option on the same poll, I am conflicted! I'll be happy with either, they're both in the top 5 greatest series ever made, IMO.

PoopsInShoes

Should watch Preacher, you would both love it.

Rant Al’More

I wish you’d watch stargate! If you’re a big Star Trek fan it feels only right

Joaquin Stick

Nice, I'd be very happy with most of these, but would love Deadwood the most. Seems like most don't agree though lol

Eissen Nava

Have they seen Peaky Blinders? Just Wondering.

Bennett Holleman

Deadwood is the best written, acted and directed show I've ever seen. It perfectly balances frontier savagery with human kindness to create a gritty believable settlement encouraging both.

Joey Johansen

oh no I can't look on as Mr. Robot gets demolished in the poll :(

Cinebinge

well, this vote will save me a few dollars on patron subscription I guess

Spacedone

I weep with the knowledge that they're not going to experience the joys of Al Swearengen.

Nonimal

OA! OA! Haha, but Mr. Robutt obviously.

Hovila

I wonder if they might be familiar with Californication...

john williams

Better call Saul is full of competent people doing things competently. George should love it

CD

To all those, justifying BCS...because it "needs" to come, while BB is "fresh". You do realize...there were 2 years, between the show's releases IRT.

Brian Sittler

His real name’s McGill & he’s a fellow potato eater just like Walt’s “Mr. Mayhew”.

Einherj

I think I've been suggesting Deadwood since I first joined in the early days of Cinebinge. Maybe some day.

Joe

While I don’t love it, my vote is for Stranger Things simply because it’s the most removed stylistically from BB. All of the other shows are more ‘grounded in reality,’ whereas Stranger Things gives a taste of the fantastical (and even though I like it I’m gonna dismiss Star Trek because it’s first season is 29 freaking episodes!). From a reactionary standpoint I think shorter shows work better, I also think shows that are presenting unique ideas and that have something to say give the reactors something to react to other than just the ugliness of the world. I personally think BCS is as good, if not better than, BB. But I think it would be better served as an option down the road. Breaking Bad is an intense show…I think it would be nice to have a little break before heading back into that world. I love The Sopranos, it’s one of my favorite shows of all time, but I think in order to react to some of the things that happen you’d wind up talking over some dialogue that pairs with an event, and then some of the subtle nuances that make the show so amazing are missed. The same could be said about fucking Deadwood (so many fucks), Mr. Robot, Succession, etc. Regardless of what wins, however, I’ll be there to watch right along side the rest of you! Suggestions: The Leftovers - 3 seasons Watchmen - 1 season Gen V - 1 season From - 2 seasons (3rd coming) Fleabag - 2 seasons Extras - 2 seasons Limited Series: - all 1 season The Fall of the House of Usher Midnight Mass The Midnight Club The Haunting of Bly Manor The Haunting of Hill House

Darin Foat

I love Star Trek: TOS, but I will readily admit that it's a bit of a mixed bag. There are some genuinely cringe worthy episodes, especially in the third season. So rather than do the whole series, maybe do a couple of "best of" videos, where you just watch a few of the standout shows? It was made in the days when every episode was basically self contained, so that syndicators could show them in any order they chose. So you don't really have to worry about continuity from one episode to the next. And a quick search will give you LOADS of suggestions on which episodes are the best.

E Dubs

I voted Better Call Saul because it was the top contender to Stranger Things which is geared towards children. If it was actually competitive, Deadwood would have been my choice. An amazing series that has very few reactions.

Zoltán Bublos

Well, I see Mr Robot won't win, but I hope they watch it someday, because IMO one of the greatest TV series ever. It's close to Breaking Bad in quality.

Jpsynergy

Always happy with more Bob Odenkirk as Saul!

Martin

BCS is a very good show, but it’s a bad idea to view it immediately after Breaking Bad. For one, it’s slower paced, so it will take more time to get fully engaged with the storyline than BB, where it seemed like every episode had a WTF moment. Not the case with BCS, and it suffers by direct comparison. Second thing: Part of the BCS appeal was diving back into the BB world and reinvesting and reacquainting with our favorite characters from BB. With only about a month between viewing each series, much of that charm gets taken away since the nostalgia won’t be there. Not a popular opinion, I’m sure, but that’s my feeling.

Tom M

If BCS wins, that’s great—would like to rewatch. Stranger Things is in second which is also good but I’ve been seeing a lot of reactions to that lately. Surprised Succession wasn’t higher. Small sample size but what I think these polls point to (incl knives out and glass onion one) is the power and reach of Netflix. The other streamers struggle although Netflix has been scooping up hbo and other properties for second runs so maybe polls will start to reflect that.

Jay Davis

I really do need Simone's reaction to S1 of Stranger Things but looks like we may hafta wait.

Lachlan Caldwell

My recommendation for a new TV series to watch: The Magicians. SciFi (Syfy) Chanel, 2015-2020. Imaging if Harry Potter went to college and did a boatload of drugs. What's great about it: Great writing; calls itself out while leaning into the classic tropes. Great characters and character development throughou the seasons. Musical Episodes: One episode each season from season 2 to 5 is a musical episode. In fact, the season 5 musical episode is also a heist episode.

Tim T—

I had this weird idea for choosing the next secondary series: Instead of a poll, make a series pilot tournament, like the Euros: For a few weeks choose two pilots to watch on TV day. Afterwards a poll decides which series comes in the next round. Then the second episodes decides which series move on, etcetera, until the finale after which the winning series get’s to be watched in full. That bring’s a little bit diversity into the offering – and may be fun. (Or not)

CD

So…while I don’t always see eye to eye with this community; and I was rooting for a different outcome here. I think G&S should take pride in these comments. The number, the diversity; the spiritedness of the debate. Signs of a strong channel! Really do appreciate the work CBs!

Khan1001

The Sopranos is in the top 5 greatest shows of all time, the fact that its not even in the running is a crime.

Studio

BCS is an objectively slow show with a sort of odd identity. I'm not sure watching it after BB is such a good idea. You've watched The Wire, you've watched Breaking Bad... The Sopranos is the obvious next pick as those are 3 of the best shows out there. If you would have listed Fargo or Veronica Mars, I'd have voted for those also.

p0sthum4n

I think The Sopranos' comfortable third place position means they're definitely going to watch it at some point, which is good enough for me.

Regular Viewer Bunty Hoven

I don't usually voice dissenting opinions on content, particularly when there's viewer demand but please, for the love of god, no more Star Trek. Feels like my feed is 75% ST content now which, when you're not a fan, is somewhat tiring.

Kelly Pickard

For future consideration: Barry, on HBO. Really weird, intriguing combo of drama, comedy, and super intense action

Anna

if you haven’t already, do yourself a favour and give Fleabag a watch - you won’t regret it!

rictus grin

a few of older British shows well worth a watch Edge of Darkness (1985) political/crime drama I Claudius (1976) based on the novel about the life of the Roman Emperor Claudius Sapphire and Steel (1979) creepy horror/Sicfi kids show , think doctor who but darker

Chase Lonnergan

I hope someday we can get to Dexter. In a way, it's the "Anti-Breaking Bad". Instead of a dreary, post-modernist, nihilistic, "every character is evil, everyone is bad, and there is no meaning to anything" melodrama about a man becoming more and more of a monster, it's a black comedy about a monster slowly becoming more and more human. It would be a nice change of pace, unlike Better Call Saul, which is the exact same melodrama.

jackthegent

huge breaking bad and bcs fan so I'm glad better call saul is next but The Sopranos might be the best show ever

Chase Lonnergan

Kinda sad that Ash vs. Evil Dead didn't make the list...

Would love to see a Buffy watch even only being new to George.

Glad Better Call Saul won but Stranger Things is such a boring pick after season 1 and Succession would be way better
