UPDATES 2:

1. Okay so the investigation with YouTube ended fairly quickly and has been confirmed that the email address is oddly enough, legit. Despite it being a gmail account. So that's that, we will be on this 90 day probation and hope against all hope no other studio decides to strike us. If we reach 3 strikes, then the channel is automatically deleted.

2. We are in the process of building up a second back up channel now. Still downloading all our content, thanks to all of your suggestions and help we are now downloading everything in its original quality, and over the next few weeks slowly reupload all of them to the new channel. But they will all be unlisted. They are back ups after all.

3. Hopefully we never need to use it, but if the day ever comes where the current main channel is deleted due to studio copyright strikes, every video posted on patreon will become unavailable temporarily. We will at that point need to manually relink every post back to its appropriate video and that may take some time so IF that happens, we'll make an announcement and just bear with us.

4. We have also reached out to A24 to try to plead and reason with them in the slim hope that they will retract the claim, but this is unlikely. Though doenst hurt to try, they've already done the most damage they can. And since we no longer have any YT edits of A24 movies available, they won't be able to claim anything else should they choose further bloodshed instead.

5. Thank you all for your encouragements and kind words, as well as suggestions for other ways to bypass these dangers. We will put everything into consideration and hopefully come up with better plans in the future. For the time being our efforts are entirely focused on urgent back ups of what we already have, as well as continuously providing new content for everyone.

6. We understand that it may be disappointing to hear that we have to stay away from A24 content for a while, we love everything we've seen from them so far and was very much looking forward to more. So it pains us just as much to have to stay away from their radars for some time until their eyes move on from us, and then perhaps we can return to their catalogue in the future.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------UPDATES:

1. We are now suspecting that theres a chance the claim was made fraudulently but some how got through the system. We are working with YT support to investigate this further, should this turns out to be the case we will be requesting the strikes removal and video reinstatement. This investigation may take a little while.

2. If the claim actually turns out to be legit and A24 just happens to send out claims with gmail accounts rather than @a24. com emails. Then we have no choice but to stay on our original course of staying away from their content for a long while until the heat dies down and perhaps then, returning to their catalogue again at a very very sparse pace. So fingers crossed its a false claim.

3. As its midnight for me and my pain meds are kicking in. Im going to bed. Will update further when theres more info. Thanks for everyones understanding and suggestions on securing back up copies of our content. If you have a specific command line for yt-dlp that forces it to download at 1080p, let me know and ill try it tmrw. Cheers and have a good night.

4. Oh and to lighten the mood, this Fridays weekly announcement is going to have a little pleasant surprise so stay tuned. Love you all and bonne nuit.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Hi folks, so A24 just gave us a full copyright strike for Ex Machina. Our channel is now under a 90 day probation period, where if we were to receive 2 additional strikes from a studio or license holder, the channel will be permanently removed. To be extra safe we have decided to delete all YouTube edits of A24 movies, this includes Hereditary and Everything Everywhere All At Once. We will also not be doing any more A24 films going forward. We are working on creating a back up channel but that will take some time, the video quality will also be lower at 720p as that is what YouTube allows for downloading our own content back. Thank you for your understanding.

Wow! Movie Studios really hate people who enjoy their movies

Moon45

That’s not very a24 of them

Rokkor X

Oh no. Large billion dollar business is scared of a couple of YouTubers for showing 3-5 second clips of their movies. It’s bullshit.

Eisengratz

Man that absolutely sucks, sorry you guys have to deal with that.

Kozmo

Damn not even full length reactions only?!?

Sarahnade

Sorry you have to deal with this! Completely understand needing to play it safe.

Billy Overton

Good luck. The policy is ridiculous but you've got to do what you got to do.

beefjerkywizard

Sorry this happening. This sucks and a24 can eat my shorts

Mark Messer

That sucks. There were some movies i wanted you guys to see. Movie studios man…. I get it tho

Drew

Bummer. Anyway that future A24 films be Patreon exclusive, hosted here?

Robert Brown

Sorry you’re having to go through this shit. 😡

Patrick Jackson

Son of a bitch. They make some good stuff too. Probably wouldn't be worth doing Pateron exclusive stuff either, would it? :/

JoshGrobansDryMouth

Damn. Fuck these money grubbing studios. As if copyright striking reaction channels is gonna save them money

Collinson

Wow that's screwed up. I won't be watching any A24 films from now on.

Daniel Rowell

So meaning you guys can no longer to movie reaction to like scary movies and such it sucks how they won’t allow you to do reactions

Shawnie

I think 3rd party YouTube downloaders should be able to get full quality versions if you haven’t deleted them already

Peter Moe

I’m sorry y’all.. I wish studios understood reaction channels breathe new life into old films the same way streamers do games.. do whatever you need to, to protect yourself

HUGO TORRES

Dang i was hoping for either the iron claw or civil war reactions

Derek

YouTube are bully’s anyway.

Bob Loblaw

Well it's their content. This sucks ass but glad you're being safe about it. Would hate to lose your reactions.

JH

A24… bunch of mark-a$$ trick bustas, ova there! But seriously, this is all unfortunate. 😕

Vince Bowman

Sorry to hear yall are going through this! Was looking forward to a Civil War reaction but we totally understand with the situation. Tons of great movies besides A24!

Foodassassin4life

That sucks but don't lose your channel because some studio got a wild hair up their ass

Mark Messer

Sorry you guys have to deal with this bs

OlRock

In the immortal words of Marty McFly, “He’s an Asshole!” Who? It doesn’t matter but this is a bummer. 😑

FWPJR.

Wow this really sucks, you would think studios would want their movies to be seen by more people and that’s what you two are doing with your reactions. It’s stupid if you ask me

Lyle Morgan

“Almost Famous” is not A24. Just sayin’.

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Man that’s rough considering those are some of the videos that I first saw of you both, not to mention have been up for ages as well. Best to do what you can to keep on thriving. Got your back anyways 👊

Trevor S

You should be able to get higher quality with something like yt-dlp, but that might not have extra meta data if you need it. Either way, that sucks and I hope it ends up being a one time thing.

Lola Lirola

I genuinely gasped when I opened this. Your reactions to specifically Ex Machina and Everything Everywhere are how I found your channel and decided to subscribe. Dammit. Also, fucking disappointing of A24 to turn on smaller industry people like that. Especially when reactions are free publicity for their movies! And when they're supposed to be an indie studio, specialized in giving unknown filmmakers their first chance!! Unbelievable. I guess the recent Oscar and newfound prestige has gone to their heads.

Dan Holmes

I can download your vids in 1080p using https://yt5s.com Create a backup channel on Rumble, you won't run into copyright issues there and can do simultaneous uploads and maybe even a full channel backup through them. You should post the deleted A24 uploads here for us patrons even if just for a day so we can download them or something. Anyone have a list of all the deleted content?

Logan Kerlee

Appreciate the update! Something to consider, I use an addon (Firefox browser) that 's called Video Download Helper that allowd me to download any video off of websites. This allows you to grab YouTube videos or anything streaming/playing online. Mega useful! https://www.downloadhelper.net/ to download it.

Dan Holmes

Running Scared (2006) is a great replacement for A24 films on your schedule fyi ;)

Craig Bruce

No one can afford to trust Google with their livelihood. Your material should be simul-posted to Rumble, X/Twitter, and Locals.

Carlos H

Because of reactors like you two, I rent a24 movies over and over on Amazon.

Pravda

I understand movie studios needing to protect their IPs and copyrights, but it seems to me that extreme measure like this hurt them as well as YT and Patreon creators and fans. Reaction channels create renewed desire and lots of additional eyeballs for films and shows, and a lot of rentals and sales for Amazon for anything that's not streaming for free. We Cinebingers will take our eyeballs elsewhere!

StoneyBowlz

We understand, down with our corporate overlords!!!

Matt Landon

Bummer. The only silver lining is I think there are only a handful of movies, mostly horror, that would pull decent numbers from YouTube anyway. And if there were high enough demand for something in the future you could do a Patreon exclusive, but personally I'd be disinclined to do that out of principle, but it's always an option.

Billy Long

What a buncha dild0s... thanks for the heads-up and keep being excellent.

Daniel Bjork

A24: Either you die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

Lycowolf

Damn, was hoping you guys would react to 'I saw the TV Glow', bummer.

Godrick

check out the patreon for the reactor channel Yaboyroshi. They mostly do anime stuff, but somehow theyve managed to post the entire movie/show episode without edits whatsoever and their channel has never had a strike (except for a big one a couple years ago where most reaction channels took a big hit) yall might not want to copy that methodology exactly, but there might still be some lessons to be learned there.

Eric G

This hasn't failed me yet: https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp It's a command line tool, so it's more complex than browser extensions or 3rd party websites, but the only limit is your bandwidth and Google's. Once you have your command down, you can point it at your channel and let it run to download everything in hours (or days, more likely).

iFixSAN

George, check out a python project called yt-dlp. With that plus ffmpeg, you should be able to download higher quality versions of your videos. I was using it to pull down your full-length videos to merge with my movie copies to have y’all in a picture-in-picture setup.

Andrew Roach

Someone needs to go to court over this as yes it is their movie, they own it but reacting to a soundless blurred image cannot fall under copyright. In the future perhaps put up a reaction with no blurred image at all, only a reaction?

Jacob Vallier

So I guess you won’t be reacting to The Iron Claw. At least you’ll be able to watch it regardless. But you do what you gotta do, your guys commentary are entertaining, no matter what you’re watching. Hopefully, the future will be in your guys favor.

Pk

That certainly sucks.. they do some good work, but a strike is just too much risk (and silly on their part)...

Stephen Tordoff

yt-dlp should be able to pulldown the 1080p version. There's also the option of using Google Takeout, which would give you the _original_ file or a higher than publicly available transcode (always has been the original for me). I don't know if you can pick individual videos though, so it might not be practical here, but making a full channel backup to a USB drive might be worth considering.

akaTheBAY -AY-Ron

🖤A24aphil...more like boraphil.... super lame of them. It's free press for studios and it only encourages people to rent/buy movies to watch along with reactors. Super frustrating that fair use law protects against stuff like this, unless the copyright holder had loads of cash. sighhhh. I hate that they put out good movies because I kind of think they suck now. I'll hate watch from now on.

JayF

Well then fuck A24 and any of their future movies will not be watched by me.

Aaron

At least they eventually expire

jose giron

Dayum A24 wtf, I actually like A24 but this is booty, got it though and take whatever precaution you guys need 🙏

Jonathan Guzman

Man that truly sucks. I know of a few channels who had to make some patron exclusive content, but they use a different video player.

Grand Moff Slackin'

That’s a bummer, man. That’s a bummer. Can we start our own CineBitches platform? No lawyers welcome.

Chris B

A24 has some single titles worth watching like Ex Machina or Lobster but thankfully, besides 4-5 good movies, there's not a lot there worth reacting too. Not a huge loss.

Scoobay

That sucks all the dix. I have no advice but I share your disappointment.

akaTheBAY -AY-Ron

🖤This is likely a well known thing to you two but I'll mention it just in case. Start your 2nd YouTube with a different email. My understanding is if they take down one channel for any reason all channels linked with that emails address either go down too, or also be taken down at their discretion. Either way, be safe.

BoredLittleLady

Wow, that sucks... 😕 I actually think that you guys do a great job with blurring and focusing on your comments, opinions, and overall commentary. Good thing A24 is not the only production company out there.

Amelie W

Pff, Youtube. Who needs it.

Red Freckle

Well that fucking sucks. Excusez mon français. I'm holding out some hope that it's just some bot or trigger-happy do-gooder at the helm of A24's.. IP protection department making a big mistake. I know some overzealous "cinephiles" sometimes lick the gigantic [REDACTED] and tickle the [REDACTED] of A24, but I do love a lot of their films. Hope this gets turned around somehow.

Morningstar

Watch Cloud Atlas, you won’t have any problems,😂 sorry my obsessive ass had to make this joke.🤣 stay rad keep yourself awesome 🤩

sarCC

Dang, that's wild. The strangest thing about this is that they're such a relatively small studio. I could see Disney or Warner Bros being like this as they're so big, but...wow. I won't suggest any more from them, unless it's just to say watch on your own(which, alot of their movies tend to play better watched alone, like one of my favorite movies this year "I Saw the TV Glow" which feels like a very intimate, intense movie to a very small audience, but it's very effective.)

RipTheRipper

Really sux... No A24 films mean none of these are getting watched...all of which I consider very good to great Midsommar The Lighthouse Uncut Gems First Cow Saint Maud Minari The Green Knight Lamb X Pearl Marcel The Shell With Shoes On Bodies Bodies Bodies Aftersun The Whale Past Lives Dicks: The Musical Priscilla Dream Scenario The Iron Claw Problemista Janet Planet Tuesday Civil War Loves Lies Bleeding and many more...This is quite a big loss to the channel

Terry Light

You know, you doing your stuff causes people to search those movies out. They literally are shooting themselves in the foot

Jimmie V

Sweet. Not a fan of middlebrow stuff anyway.

Jason McCloud

I'd rather have you guys around than any of their films, by a long shot

Nathan Jasper

Better safe than sorry! Sorry that happened :(

Ronny Boss

Whelp that's A24's loss. I'm assuming The A stands for asshole and the 24 is the amount of them the person who hit y'all is worth. Stay Awesome Guys, hope you fine folks have a great weekend

Tucci

Fuck, that suuuucks. RIP Uncut Gems and Midsommar.

ChristianK

F A24🖕🏼 All My Homies Hate A24🖕🏼

BangDroid

You should learn about and understand Fair Use laws. Your content is 100% transformational, doesn't not serve as a market substitute, and is the definition of commentary. These criteria are used to asses Fair Use. The issue is that YouTube sides 100% of the time with media companies even if the complaint falls entirely with the scope of legal fair use. YouTube are not following the law here. I know this doesn't mean a lot in terms of ameliorating the situation, however should you consider another platform to host this content. The studio or law firm will have to follow proper legal channels and prove your content is not Fair Use. Instead of how it works with YouTube's backroom-dirty-deal relationships they have with media corporations.

FranciscoGios

It's a bummer which I really understand and wanted for you guys to react to one of their films. Both of you keep being cool 🤟.

shaneth138

Damn that really sucks. A24 has so many bangers too. Would you ever do any that are Patreon exclusives that aren't on YouTube? Or would that not make any difference?

Grimbane42

So just as an idea from another reaction channel I watch. For most anime for example they only put their opening discussion and closing discussion on Youtube and link in the description or comments to their website or patreon for the edited version and the full version. As long as you make your discussion about 10-15 minutes you should still get monetization if I'm not mistaken

Crazykirsch

I'll reiterate everyone suggesting ffmpeg+yt-dlp. However I'll also toss in the option of JDownloader2(https://jdownloader.org/jdownloader2). It's GUI-based by default whereas yt-dlp is command-line(GUIs do exist but they're far clunkier than JD2s) incase command-line just isn't your thing. The only hiccup you *might* encounter with either yt-dlp or JD2 is that YT somtimes requires authentication for age-restricted videos. Luckily the easy fix is just creating a throwaway/smurf account and using its credentials to avoid having your actual account info saved. Both options have countless tutorial vids and can be set-up in a few minutes.

Christina Doxstader

I just don't understand the reasoning behind striking reactors. Watching a reaction isn't a substitute for watching the whole movie after all so the people watching the reaction are mostly ones who have already seen the movie and in many cases I'm sure, they also own a copy. For those who haven't seen it, the chances that they will rent or buy a copy after watching your reaction will probably increase. Either way the studio isn't losing money and can only benefit from the reactions.

Collinson

Fingers crossed for you guys that it all works out.

Sam

Well lets hope it all works out! I dont watch the edited versions anyway but as they are the most important stuff for your YT channel and also the most work, it would suck to lose them. About backing up videos, did you ever concider just getting a bunch of big TB Harddrives, they are extreamly cheap these days, and save your videos on them? Its maybe not the most convenient method but probably the safest.

Ocelot

Hoping it works out for your Channel🙏

Sergio Meira

What a bummer! George, I'm sure this kind of thing happens to lots of movie reaction channels--I wish you guys the best of luck. And frankly, if there's anything we, your followers and supporters, can do to help, please let us know.

Rob Church

How about Punch Drunk Love?

Orphan Crippler

I bought Hereditary and Ex Machina to watch along with you guy's, I had never heard of those movies before this channel, and had no interest in watching them before this channel, copyright strikes like this are made by greedy corporations that wouldn't know free advertisement if it slapped them in the face.

David Lengyel

Sad to see A24 being uncool. Do what must be done. We'll adapt to the situation. Also lol @ YT for allowing only 720p downloads of YOUR OWN content.

Tucci

yt-dlp -o "~/Desktop/%(title)s-%(id)s-%(extractor)s.%(ext)s" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1qXItCuzN0 Put a space after the end quotation, then the URL. That always downloads full quality for me. You can download it to anywhere, just put the path before this part: /%(title)s-%(id)s-%(extractor)s.%(ext)s" Example: yt-dlp -o "C:/Users/George/Downloads/Youtube/%(title)s-%(id)s-%(extractor)s.%(ext)s" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1qXItCuzN0

Graeme McCutcheon

George, saw you mentioned in another comment that you can only get 720p from yt-dlp. The "-F" option (on Linux at least, don't know if the options are different on Win/Mac) lists available formats. I picked a vid at random (your Click reaction https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8shKI2xof0) and it listed 1080p video as one of the options. It was format number 137, so adding in an audio format (140) I could then 'yt-dlp -f 137+140 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8shKI2xof0' to get 1080p video and audio. If you are logged in to a browser, adding the '--cookies-from-browser firefox' for example can unlock these new premium bitrates. Admittedly, the available formats aren't always consistent video to video (but I believe the format numbers are consistent, so that 137 is always mapped to 1080p video). What I would do if you're doing any kind of batch download is use that "-F" command and sample a mix of recent, old and somewhere in between uploads, as you can specify a bunch of fallbacks separated by commas in case your first choice isn't avaiable (e.g yt-dlp -f 137+140,136+139 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8shKI2xof0 would have reverted to 136+139 if 137+140 wasn't available). All those examples I've used involved a video URL but I'm pretty sure you can just give it a channel URL and it'll get to work on all the vids. EDIT: but I imagine you'll still have to manually catch the unlisted videos, I assume that giving it a channel URL it will only be able to fetch the public videos.

temsik28

Amazing how many resources these companies spend trying to stop super specific patterns of electrons from moving around the world.

Śéáń

Sorry to hear, especially if it's a fraudulent claim (which sounds likely given the gmail part) YT are in dire need to step up on frauds like this, they're the equivalent of copyright trolls, aka the worst type of bottom feeders. Those movies are such losses to have to remove/avoid too. Fully understandable, just a real shame that well in particular is now poisoned.

MasterElodin

Fuck I didnt get around to EEAAT and Hereditary yet. Would really suck if they stay down. Good luck with the YouTube support I guess..

Wyatt Nuxoll

Well , this is sad to hear , I don't know why these movie corporations are so freaking greedy ..... obviously if people react and watch your films then , the films are good and the company literally gets free advertisement among the whole YouTube audience. Well I hope all goes well and I wish you both the best of luck . One thing I don't understand though is this . How come it took almost a year for the claims to be made the videos have literally been up for a long while. Leads me to believe and hope that there strikes aren't legit at all , but I don't know much about this stuff, take care George and Simone

YukoValis

The thing about A24 is that it is owned independently by multiple people. If one of them decide to be jerks about copyright there is little that can be done. It is a shame.

Michael Kea

So many legends say, making a deal with certain record companies and film studios is like making a deal with the devil so I ask myself.. does demonetized really come from "monetize" or is it really "demon"etized??? 😎

Jay

No Midsommar next week then:) That's a shame, A24 have quite a few gems in their catalogue.

Maiki

Sorry to hear that you have to deal with this crap, either way. Fingers are crossed that it's a false claim and you can get back to normal soon. Keep your heads up guys!

Philipp Roensch

Not coming from an official domain sounds sketchy, I hope it is just false claim. Have you tried the video upload of patreon before? Following some channels that put all full lenghts there. (Found after a quick google they can only be 200MB, or is probably a Vimeo link) Either way, it would be sad to loose and miss out on the A24 catalogue, hopefully you can see those movies at least in your time :)

DonkyDave

we love you George, please have my babiezzzz

streaky

I mean fraudulent if it's them or not - this sort of thing is plainly fair use. Obviously it'd be easier if it was just the other kind of BS, but it's still BS and copyright law doesn't work like that.

Chase Schleich

It's very likely fake. One of the other reaction channels I sub to is going through the same thing and he was able to trace it to a fake company issuing claims on copyright they don't own, yet YouTube just let's them claim it anyway. It's crazy how their system works (or more like doesn't work).

Brandon

I'd recommend '4K Video Downloader'. You can set it to download "best quality available" to get it to download 1080p versions faster. It also lets you download an entire playlist or ALL of a channel's content with a few clicks. However, I made the 1-time purchase of the software a few years ago, so I can't say for sure what the free version's restrictions might be.

Den Radar Ryan

I hate those fake claims. Someone even tried to do that on a video that my own music that I own the licensing to lol. Meanwhile, there are channels that have entire studio owned movies uploaded that have been uploaded for years. The system is nuts.

Stephen Tordoff

yt-dlp might be topping out at 720p if you don't have ffmpeg installed (BangDroid's comment made me realise this). If you grab ffmpeg-master-latest-win64-gpl.zip from https://github.com/yt-dlp/FFmpeg-Builds/releases/tag/latest and place the executables (ffmpeg/ffplay/ffprobe) from the 'bin' folder in the same folder as yt-dlp.exe, it should be detected and used automatically. That's a yt-dlp specific fork of ffmpeg that fixes a few YouTube related bugs, so is the best version to use for this.

Den Radar Ryan

Sad that we wont get to see you're reactions to many good recent flicks like "The Iron Claw", "The Whale", and more. 📼

Amar

Damn man your channel seems to get hits no other channel does. Everyone is watching and reacting to A24 films (best films in the world) but they are censoring everything you do. This one is really tough!

Alex Laime

Besides Ex Machina, Locke and Everything, Everywhere All At Once are the only other A24 films I've seen that I'd call great, maybe The Green Knight. No doubt there may be others I haven't seen, but doesn't seem to be a top studio IMO. Shame though, and I hope this is not the start of some trend.

Shibby

Nooooo whyyyyy noooooo ok that sucks but good thing there are heaps of other good movies out there to react to :D

HeyHeyJK

I mean aren't there a whole lot of other reaction channels with A24 films? Are they all getting in trouble? Seems fishy but definitely do what you gotta do. And look at Mssr. George breaking out his French! Ooh la la. Cherchez la femme! I think that's all I know.

Ryan Ware

So disappointed to hear this. Everything Everywhere All At Once has now been removed from my BluRay Purchase queue. I hate companies who have these practices.

Jan Birgersson

I use VideoProc Converter to download from youtube in 1080p and 2160p

howtocookazombie (Stan)

Are the YouTube versions copyright striked only or also the full-length versions too?

Cartoons ReAct

Did they say is A24? or only said to contact them? That's a standard(and stupid) automatic response from YouTube unless you are a huge channel they get involved...if not they pass everything to the creator

probablyKoi

After reading update 2, I'm really frustrated with YouTube themselves. They've been a pretty good company when it comes to continually advancing the site - but to have the Content ID system in place since 2007, I can forgive some time where a lot of people or automated scraping bots take advantage of the system, but you'd think after 17 years there would be a more robust way to stop probably automated systems just hooking onto videos years after they were posted and potentially destroying people's livelihoods by triple striking their channel with a few flags at once. Someone at youtube should be tasked with figuring out a solution. I get that copyright law matters but it's always the people playing by the rules fairly who get stung. Really hope A24 responds to you guys, reverts the claim and whitelists your channel or something. Unlikely, but we can hope.

Chris Servais

Kind of late to the game here, but I saw the recent email update, and this is awful. Sorry to hear this has been happening. Y'all are awesome, and I hope the least possible detriment comes out of this.

Jay

Shit, I assumed it was nonsense when you said it was a Gmail account. That's a nightmare for you guys. And hey, few here are more desperate for certain A24 content than myself..... fuck them:)

XeonAlpha

Fork these askholes! I’m so sorry ya’ll. There is no reason for this nonsense whatsoever. I hope all of their [redacted] have a [redacted] shoved right up their [redacted] until they [redacted] hard enough to stop this BS.

Tenn Seven

It's too bad that the DMCA system, which seemed like a great idea at the time, is able to be abused by companies that just blanket-strike content without regard for fair use and publishers like YouTube that just take those companies at their word and don't do anything to protect the rights of the content creators.

Tucci

Damn, that really sucks. You guys should do like a once-a-year, full-length-only Patreon exclusive for Christmas or something though. Either way, I just hope you guys don't get anymore strikes. <3

My name is Jere

'Goodnight you princes of maine, you Kings of new england.'

GnolRevilo

I don't understand why you are being targeted. There are so many YouTube channels with many A24 movie reactions completely untouched. Bizarre.

Mark Messer

This seems unfair, considering how many other reactions there are to their movies out there

Jon Burrows

You must have said Eh more than 24 times ya big hosers.

Nomatah

Why not get a back up real job instead? This is fun, but unstable usage of others material is never a good choice to be your only option. I wish you the best.

Life in the cave of Garanoga

Sorry to hear this. I hope you don't get anymore strikes and happy that you're making plans for the future of the channel. Keep up the good work you two, we love ya.

Hans Czajkowski Jørgensen

Assuming that you fulfilled your obligations regarding fair use, It's so unfair that you do not have any actual recourse to preserve a thing you created for public consumption. My thoughts go out to you. I for one am going to remember your Everythng, Everywhere... reaction forever. Hugs to both of you.

Blake Gorf

Damn man! I hope you don't encounter any more problems.

Rupert Purcat

I have read through A24 movie catalogue and with very few exceptions there is not much there worth watching, so.... fk em. As a business model youtube would make me nervous, you are right to seek 'insurance' for your product. Cheers

gfixler

Why can't everybody be like that guy from the Final Destination movies, who loves this channel, and came on as a guest?

pinkdino99

There is so much A25 content on YouTube that I think this is something malicious.
