Such a worthy sequel. I love how it nails anxiety and especially panic attacks. I felt that in that whole sequence; it feels so visceral and inescapable.

why are people so obsessed with hating on Velma lol, just ignore it like I do

CHRISXGAMESALOT

That’s super immature way of disliking someone or something.

I watch a lot of movies and have never truly related to a character until this movie….unfortunately that character was Anxiety! I may have said “oh no” out loud in the theater when Anxiety pulled out the console to go through potential scenarios of what could go wrong. I truly felt seen in that moment.😢😂

BoredLittleLady

I was initially disappointed with the movie because I was expecting something different. I just really liked the first movie better.

Thirty Year Old Mulberry Field

Unfortunately Anger & Disgust wield an iron fisted diarchy in my noggin, watching stuff with you guys helps loosen that grip though ;D

ExtraBigAssTaco

I just saw this in the theater last week. I'm glad there's content like this being made these days. I'm middle aged now, but in an incredibly low, and emotional, point in my life over the last year... still learning and growing a lot.

Inkpendude

I spent the whole movie thinking about how things went inside my own brain when I was a teenager. I think my main emotion was anxiety, probably till this day lol

Zach McBride

the video game character is voiced by a video game journalist youtube/voice actor named Yong Yea. i recommend his channel!

Christina Doxstader

I don't know if I like this better than the original or not but it is a very good sequel. My favorite part though is when Joy snaps when the others say she's delusional. I'm generally a happy a person but I'm not all the time and when I see people who are I always think about what's bubbling under the surface and that's what that scene reminds me of. I will say I would have liked maybe seeing more of the other characters emotions like they did in the first one. We only got a little bit of that at the beginning and the very end.

Eh we're a product of the environment we're brought up in. Lots of different people in different countries are Shameless. But not the people as a whole, you know?

Magnificent Gojira

I just meant that there is no such an emotion in any of the characters. Found it kinda funny

I think the writers had to draw the line somewhere as they started expanding. The 1st movie used a common basic structure that many multiple psychologists have proposed. The expanded structures often include shame but then you started getting into classifications that are 15 - 60 emotions large. I think that they just choose emotions that fit plot they wanted.
