Love how by the end of this movie Anxiety isn’t cast out and besmirched by the other emotions in the film. Having her as something to live with and manage is a good acknowledgement of how we humans be. Personally enjoy both movies equally - hard to pick a favourite ☺️ Oh and for George’s dominant emotion question… a strong three way (hehe) tie between Joy, Sadness and Anxiety for this guy haha.

Hey, Simone, George, where did you get your copy of this? I can't find it available anywhere for me. I'm in Canada. On Disney, it only has the trailer.

If only there was a way to get this movie literally anywhere 🥲

I hope you guys watch "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" soon, once it is available digitally! I saw it yesterday and it was a whole lot of fun going back into the classic Tim Burton universe! It should be available around Halloween time :)

Lots of famous people named “Phyllis” and the one I’d think of first was Phyllis Diller, an American comedian who lived from 1917 to 2012. She was the most famous female comedian of her time. She voiced Thelma Griffin in “Family Guy” in 2006 and that’s probably what you might know her from. She was mostly retired by 2005.

There is a rumor in the internet that Ryley could be a non binaire person, because her emotions appears to be not all female or male. I'm excited if this could be real, or this is just another internet thing.

Its a great second film, I do like the first one still more tho. About the recast, as far as I know Amy Poehler got around 5 Million in salary while Bill Hader and Mindy Kaling just got offered around 100k which is quite insulting and I totally get why they said no to that.

silverarrow06

I think this is just an internet thing. The emotions in Brees and Graces heads are also male and female. I think it is just that kids that age haven't decided yet...🤔🙂

No George, the pimple didn't migrate, Riley just looked into a mirror...😃

Going to save this for a moment, Disney+ release and Blu-ray are a bit off still.

Going to go ahead and rewatch again later! I enjoyed the first time through but I was SUPER distracted throughout.

So glad you called out the touch on the bench part Simone. It's legitimately my favorite part of the movie. That small moment ties the entire movie together and it's also the most relatable moment for people that have panic/anxiety attacks.

This is coming to Disney+ 25th Sep, fyi

I've been playing the Inside Out game on my phone since it came out. It's a little guilty pleasure. I just beat level 1006. A couple of months ago, it randomly updated with the new characters, but they only released one at a time, every few weeks or so. It was Anxiety first, then Ennui, then Envy, then Embarrassment. They have little lines they say at certain times, like when the level starts, when it ends (win or lose), and if you make the shot or miss. I thought maybe the lines were recorded for the game, but they were pulled from the film, which I learned watching here. It was fun to see the original context for each one.

Well I loved the rewatch and your reaction, gets right in those feelings :D Some points I already put in words with my review, comparing to the first movie: "... there's definitely some depth added, by giving Riley more autonomy. Her personality is not only emotions with direct control, but also impressions from the outside that form her beliefs, a very neat representation in my opinion." I think what really speaks to me is the accepting one's mistakes as part of their personality, that is a big growth moment I love.
