Glad you guys added Days of Future Past to the list in the lead up to Deadpool and Wolverine! And excited for Mallrats. It was my favorite of Kevin Smith's films when I was younger; haven't watched it in years, so I'll be curious to see how it holds up for me.

PeppermintWizardOfAus

Great week! Might I add Superman (1978), Avatar (2009) and The Fall Guy (2024) to the backlog

Marko T.

Days of Future Past might be my favorite X-Men movie.

Saddleface

I’m so happy you are continuing the View Askewniverse. Kevin Smith movies are so much fun.

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Days of Future Past is a blast and hope you enjoy it. Mallrats and the View Askewniverse are a good time. Chasing Amy follows up and it’s arguably Smith’s best script. Fun week ahead 😎

Roger Davies

Star Trek, Mallrats & The Warriors. Awesome.

Graham Bullman

Your schedule is getting busy these days. Loving the mix of different themes and genres. Keep up the great work.

MarkGauci85

Mallrats and The Warriors I'm most looking forward to.

Shiby23

i thought this was posted a day or two ago? was there a change? actually i feel like warriors was supposed to be today. maybe votes and polls or something got me confused. maybe its the matrix.

kbobravo

The theatrical release of Mallrats is the one to go with. The extended cut is fine, but certain scenes are different and drag a bit (especially at the beginning). The theatrical cut is much tighter and overall works better.

Shiby23

super drunk my bad. i went back and looked. i was looking forward to 8 mile but thought it was The Warriors winning the poll which would be today. Cheers tho. <3

Tay Schumaker

Not sure if you’ve watched Days of Future Past yet. Wondering if you’re doing the theatrical or Rogue cut

Itbewhatitbe

i know a lot of ppl like rogue cut, but the most widely available version is theatrical.

Jihad Lee

Warriors!!!! I’m actually seeing it in theaters on September 24th. Gonna be awesome

Brian's Dog

Looking forward to Warriors and Mallrats, they got really nice 4k releases.

Cinebinge

yes its the theatrical cut at 1 hr 32 min

Trevor S Bright

Wow, all 3 movies on this have 2 different cuts, even if The Warriors director's cut doesn't actually add a lot. But still, it's weird coincidence.

Perry Campbell

I’m here for Star Trek anything else is a bonus ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Cinebinge

we watched the one available to us, which is the theatrical cut

Deco

Sweet haven't seen mallrats, should be good. I had no idea there was so many x men movies

mcfierce24

Mallrats!! Do NOT react to the director's cut.

Joe

As others have said, make sure you don't watch the director's cut of Mallrats.

Jasbro

Damn are we actually getting a full Kevin Smith (Jay&Silent Bob) movie watchathon?, that would be awesome.

YukoValis

Waaarriors... come out to plaaaay.

Ginger

Is this where I get to recommend "Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny"? I think you'll enjoy that one a lot.

MPH

Mallrats and Warriors!

MPH

Did you know it was based on Anabasis by Xenophon? I love this movie so much, I had a custom vest made that I have been wearing to Bonnaroo for the last 13 years.

MPH

You're a man of culture.

Paul Mix

Good lineup. More X-Men and ViewAskew-niverse movies are always good, and we've been enjoying re-watching Star Trek with you! Since this seems to be the appropriate place for movie reaction suggestions, here are some late 80's classics we'd love to see your reactions to: - A Fish Called Wanda (1988) - The Untouchables (1987) - Midnight Run (1988) - Heathers (1988) - Do the Right Thing (1989) - Platoon (1986) - Throw Mama from the Train (1987)

Colin Reid

So looking forward to The Warriors, one of my all time favourites.

Red Freckle

George, have you ever thought about going by the Spanish version of the name "George"? For the sole reason that Jorge He would be amusing to say out loud, just something to consider.

Kevin Cheney

twe

mallrats out of what feels like nowhere, hell yea

BoredLittleLady

Awesome, can’t wait! You will probably get comments explaining the 20 minute differences from the Rogue Cut anyway once the video goes live. I’m not complaining, the theatrical cut is what we all enjoyed in theaters before purchasing the Blu-Ray.

Ashcroft Production-House

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WHEN YOU WATCH XMEN DAYS OF FUTURE PAST YOU NEED TO WATCH THE ROGUE CUT VERSION

droodly

In a reply above they said "we watched the one available to us, which is the theatrical cut" :(

Brian K.

I hope Chasing Amy is next!

Efrain Zavala

Please watch "Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping" (2016)

Dwight Scarn

Gotta watch WHAT LIES BENEATH Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer.

R.Thomas

The Warriors AND Mallrats? I am very much ok with this. VERY much ok with this.
