Fly Ωhms

Oh yeah. Good times.

Monica Alarcon

Right... screw the plans I had for tonight... yaaay!

Armchair Rizzard

I love that you do these, and I also love your music reaction montage, as well as that collab you did showing the mean comments.

AC10

George Has A CAT!!!! Omfg Simone has finally got to him...

Garrett Jay Christian

I sooo want to watch George's cooking channel, but I'm also a vegetarian, and he talks so much about meat. It's a dilemma.

Cartoons ReAct

you need to follow them on Instagram, they posted the cat at Cinebinge's Instagram

Cartoons ReAct

Almost 9pm here...thinking if I should watch it all today...

AC10

Have you seen his YouTube shorts eating foods from his vacations recently??? Definitely some non meat items that I would at least consider murder to taste.

Raven Dark

3 hours and 46 minutes? Really, guys, I expected better from you. I mean, give us at least 5.... LOL Love these things.

Garrett Jay Christian

I suppose I'm a poser fan, then, but I have not! I'll look into it.

AC10

A year or more ago I was watching every Patreon version of their videos.. which if course include a lot more BTS stuff like this. But I'm decidedly very limited to what social media accounts I make. When I can't view stuff without an account I almost never ever have a desire to make an account. (And obviously I haven't been here on patreon recently) But thanks for letting me know. Maybe one day Instagram will allow viewing without an account. (so many social media site started this way in the very beginning)

AC10

I love spending time with them just hanging out talking about anything... At all... So YES more of everything for me.

AC10

Don't worry... I didn't know they existed till I was randomly suggested one by YouTube (I freekin hate most shorts) But OMG his vacation shorts are freekin amazing!! (Smart phones autocorrect is the death of communication)

Michael

I'm now imagining George and Simone fighting the giant chicken from Family Guy to get in their car.

AC10

OMFG!!!! I didn't see the time when I started watching!!! Simone... George... You are both INSANE and we love it.

AC10

Another comment made me aware this vid was almost 4 hours long... I wasn't prepared for this. 11pm here. Will I finish it tonight??? Maybe

AC10

Tattoos are a personal body thing that usually has nothing whatsoever to do with your audience... But... I mean... I would really love a vid talking about your different tattoos. Obviously if you both don't mind sharing that with us. (We see many on screen and they are so freekin beautiful and I personally wanna know more...)

Tyler Foster

One suggestion for the music thing: when you posted it before, I was literally just thinking of songs. When I saw the finished video, it ended up being in large part about the videos. So maybe you can bridge the gap by asking specifically for songs with great videos?

AC10

Ok I swear I'm not going to comment 59 different times but dang it this video is long and so much to comment on... Regarding Something people hyped up you did NOT enjoy watching... Well. I'm admittedly obsessed with The Expanse. And y'all both didn't really get into it.... That OK!!!! Really. Nothing in life is ever for everyone. I have to say I was surprised by this. Especially hearing George mention space travel stuff so often. I thought for sure George would love that show. Maybe not Simone as much but I thought George was a sure thing. Just listings an example.

AC10

Lol it's funny hearing you say well almost everything we watch is "foreign" to us... Well so many Hollywood movies/shows are entirely filmed in Vancouver that even Hollywood is closely related to Canada... Just saying 😜

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Caught some of this on the ol’ lunch-break but if you want more compilations…. Stay tuned 😉 Thanks again for putting the time in for another 4 hour video too! Will catch the rest tonight Aussie time haha

Tyler Foster

As for Ghibli, I have never heard of anyone having trouble with Ghibli as a Patreon Exclusive, even if the video is on YouTube. What they're claiming is the presence of their content in your video, so as long as it's visually blocked and their content isn't actually in the video, you should be fine.

Jeff K.

I will say I’m *mildly* disappointed in you, George. “Is this a pimple or a boil?” The answer is “It was a gummi bear.” And you call yourself a Simpsons fan, sir!

Zach D

you guys are troopers getting to all the questions.. thanks! now this is very important.. I too, love oatmeal raisin cookies Simone, and if you haven’t, you need to try Tate’s oatmeal raisin cookie.. if you like crunchy, they’re so good. ok bye

Raven Dark

Still watching, but just pausing to comment on what you two were saying about doing musical reactions. I know it might not matter if I or anyone else tells you guys this, because usually people telling us we are good at a thing we don't think we do well doesn't help... BUT, honestly, those two music reaction compilations you did were great! George, you mentioned that you don't know how to make them better. LMAO, they don't have to be better. You two just don't know how good you are, and I wish I could plop you both in my head so you could see it. I'll give you a couple of examples of what made those reactions good for me. Not that my opinion matters, but I know I'm not alone in this. First, Simone, your reaction to Nightwish's Ghost Love Score. The look on your face and how completely mesmerized you were by that whole performance was everything. In depth critiques of music are great, but they're a dime a dozen. It's the surprise, the excitement, the love you both feel for what you're hearing or seeing, that's what makes reactions great. That's why we're here. Second, George, your reaction to Ren's Hi Ren. Watching how deeply that song affected you was wonderful. It really was. That said, if you want to see how other music reaction channels do it well, check out Jay and Amber on the channel Rob Squad Reacts. They're wonderful. If you don't want to spoil yourself, watch their reaction to Ghost Love Score. It's great. Yours was on par with theirs. I'm gonna sound like a damned Halmark card here when I say this, but, both of you--what we love about your channel is how genuine and fun and real you two are. Just give us that. Just be you, and it will be perfect. Okay, I'm done. Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk. :D

Eric Tanaka

Omg that show Simone mentioned watching stoned is called "Auntie Donna's Big 'Ol House of Fun" and watching that stoned was probably the funniest thing ever, confirmed 😂

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

I can somewhat confirm that’s a good chunk of what we Aussies get up to for humour haha

Tyler Foster

A few post-'90s rom-coms for Simone. Don't know if these will give you the classical vibes, and you've probably seen some of them, but they're good. Stranger Than Fiction (2006) -- if I were going to say any one of these ought to be on the channel, it should be this one, although I'd be into all/any of them. Definitely, Maybe (2008) Away We Go (2009) TiMER (2009) Youth in Revolt (2009) How Do You Know (2010) No Strings Attached (2011) Enough Said (2013) Obvious Child (2014) It Had to Be You (2015) Maggie's Plan (2015) Sleeping With Other People (2015) Big Sick, The (2017) Overboard (2018) High Note, The (2020)

ShōNuff3K

George Weasley, of the Jungle, Curious, Jetson, Costanza, Bailey. Simone Adamley, Lenoir, Deveaux, S1mone

Ryan Skinner

I'm only 15 minutes in, but I love the "non-verbal acting" question, and have one that immediately came to mind from The Prestige: When Angier (Hugh Jackman) asks Borden (Christian Bale) which knot he tied while in the mausoleum, and is met with "I don't know" - Jackman's facial performance while he processes that response blows me away. I can see frustration, confusion, restraint, rage... all in like a five second shot. Incredible! Okay, on with the rest of the video! :) You guys are great. <3

Dag Einar Bergli

If you start a sexy cooking channel, George, I will accept no other title than Wok-agenda.

Senec

Oof, hard pass on crunchy oatmeal raisin (unless it's iced oatmeal raisin, then crunchy works). Gimme soft and chewy for oatmeal raisin, and I'm a happy camper. -- wait, I don't like camping. I'll be a happy shut-in.

Nathan Jasper

I am so sorry guys, I completely forgot The Animated Series existed at the time I sent you guys the Star Trek chronology. Yes there is a Star Trek the animated series that is 22 episodes total and takes place right after the original series ends. So yes it would be the original series, the animated series, and then the Shatner movies.

Mastervodo

With the question on favorite TV/Movie score - the Arcane Soundtrack is so EPIC. I still listen to "What Could Have Been" and "Guns for Hire".

Eric Tanaka

So I'm taking that as everything is a drum in Australia and you have naughty dishwashers

Imran Sallay (He Forgot His Memory)

Awsm. For me it's The Terminal, when Tom Hanks' character finds out very early on through the TVs in the airport that his country is going through a military coup. His struggle to understand the situation in a language he doesn't fully know, along with his frustration at the absolute apathy of other pax at the airport, and then the slow pulling away of the camera while he sort of freezes and realizes how isolated he really is? Man, that went from a comedy to super tragic in a few minutes.

Nate Gavin

Great job - 4 hours. It felt only right to spend the same amount of time that you guys put into it!

Random Nevermind

Simone, they are doing romantic comedies close to the 90s style from time to time. Some of them are really good. While yep. Unpopular in general: Those movies kinda feels like 90s romcoms: No reservations (2007) Just Go With It (2003) Love, Rosie (2014) Flipped (2010) Those are a little bit different but gives the vibe: About Time (2013) Easy Virtue (2008) A Star is Born (2018) Life as We Know It (2010) Basically you can add all of that to the backlog.

IncredibleBulk

To Simone and Monica Elarkin (sorry I probably spelt that wrong and not sure if you'll see this), but When at uni Gilmore Girls was mine and the female housemates go to chillout show and to this day 2 decades later (showing my age) we still reference one episode on a relatively regular basis. in one episode Miss Patty is teaching the kids to dance dressed as food and one falls over that's dressed as an apple to which they state "apple down" well to this day if either of us sees anyone fall over you will hear us shout apple down.

AVATAR-X

George: If you really want to see Arnold Schwarzenegger flirting in a Rom-Com, consider watch Twins (1988), Kindergarten Cop (1990), or Junior (1994). Three comedies staring Arnie and directed by Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters).

Philipp Roensch

Fun Bad Movie Suggestions: The Resident Evil movies, up to Part 5/6 where they are just boring, but the rest really are guilty pleasures for me. Machete and Machete Kills. Simone looking for a new excellent RomCom: The Lost City surprised me.

Dragonhunter

Two french movies I'd recommend for the foreign polls would be Climax and Mommy

Sam

I think usually patreon exclusive means just the watch along no edit, so no need to worry about copyright there.

Cartoons ReAct

As other replies, the only other Simone I can think of is from the movie S1mone, some say is bad...I think is a good movie

Daniel Smith

There is an American Life podcast episode about the Gilmore Girls. From memory it was about a marine unit deployed in Iraq that started watching DVDs to wind down and they really got into it. I suspect mainly because it was so different to what they were going through day to day. I think in the end, they got a huge load of merch sent to them.

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Haha yeah and we change the wifi name to poopoo when the need arises

Daniel Smith

And Switchblade romance. Raw is also a great one though not sure if Simone will thank for me for it.

Shibby

This was great thank you for answering so many questions. I laughed so hard when George guessed that Simone was using her hands to figure out left and right lol

Twisty Twitties

Agree with you about the feeling a connection by watching peoples reactions to different forms of media you love, Discovered you guys by binging Lord Of The Rings reactions on Youtube but seeing that you'd both watched it multiple times but could still got emotional and enjoy watching it had me subscribed instantly and eating up your content like crazy

Nathan Jasper

And to add to that, George Bailey from It's a wonderful Life. Now they both have characters lol

Happy Hanukkah

George is most grateful to you for saving him from my suggestion of George of the Jungle! (I just noticed Daniel beat me to it.)

Renee MeowMeow Beans

I have one - Simone in Pee Wee's Big Adventure, who is a delight! Also, they should totally watch it! 😁

Renee MeowMeow Beans

As I posted above (responding to Guillermo), there is a Simone also Pee Wees Big Adventure, and she's lovely. 🙂

Renee MeowMeow Beans

Oatmeal raisin cookies are the best. I will never turn one down, don't care what kind. (But Senec, totes agree that iced crunchy oatmeal cookies are fabulous.)

Renee MeowMeow Beans

Wow! I couldn't attend "live" but what a delight you two are!! and such GD troopers - way to go. I'm soooooo glad you answered the question about whether you guys still enjoy doing this. I always worry I'm like some jerk saying "Dance, monkey, dance!" when I watch reactors. I mean I don't think that's the actual case, but I'm so relieved you do enjoy it. That's wonderful for all of us. 😊 Thank you both!!

Paul McBryde

So George was in Greece but Simone was in Grease

Monica Alarcon

Elarkin! Lol Close enough... Oh yeah, that was so funny, it's full of great moments and dialogue. It's my new comfort show, it has helped me while I'm feeling down, and I can probably will rewatch it when zi'm finished wich is somethin I never do outside of Star Trek and Doctor Who.

Monica Alarcon

I really really hope they don't skip the animated series...

Ste Rawlings

Oh shit I knew there was a reason I liked you guys! #DeadMumClub

Skip577

It’s a tough balance but some of these would be way better if you read the questions before so you could look at your movie list and have an answer other than You’ve Got Mail or LOTR. For example, the question about non verbal acting I know Simone would offer Good Will Hunting and There Will be Blood. Or the question about scenes that choke you up no matter how many times you see (it’s not your fault w/ Robin Williams or some Arrival scenes). Just a thought.

Anthony Villena

A fun bad movie that seems to get a lot of views on YT reaction channels is The Room (2003) by Tommy Wiseau. It is not an intentionally bad movie, and in fact the creator had thought it would become his masterpiece,.

Nathan Jasper

About like Ed Wood always thought the next one would be his good one

Itbewhatitbe

bruh they took nearly 4 hours to record this, you want them to add more time by adding homework? lol

Skip577

Sorry. Next time I’ll check with you first before making a comment and you can let me know if it’s ok to post.

Craig D

You guys should react to the 5 1/2 hour version of Red Cliff!

Joe

People got outraged by you being stoned? What a bunch of losers.

Joe

Can't believe I forgot to ask if you've seen Black Sails. If not, for the love of great TV, please watch it.

Jethro Divine

Remembering the cat names are a fortunate coincidence because my mother's cat was a Luna, and my little lady's name is Maggie. She's an earless snuggly diva with a serious case of resting B face.

Lyle Morgan

Susi Vidal beat you to the punch with OnlyPans, her suggestive Instagram cooking account, and it's hilarious.

Itbewhatitbe

lmao of course it already exists. but shes not a Chinese guy covered in tattoos! i bet theres a market place for another onlypans where the audience is thirsty (and hungry) women isntead of men.

Pat. N

Damn, my question was skipped (or maybe missed). Wasn't a particularly interesting one anyways.

Eric Tanaka

Damn, all my American ass has is "pretty fly for a WiFi" 😢

Mathew Hill

Sorry about my bummer question. Feel like I really got the tone wrong.

gfixler

Joe Versus the Volcano mentioned! It's an adorable movie you two should watch. I think Simone will love it, and George will like it. 😆

Anamondaris

I love how comprehensive this is😂💜 You guys should definitely do Joe Vs. the Volcano! Simone I think will love it and I actually think George will appreciate it. You guys are amazingly %100 my vibe! Thank you for your content❤️

FWPJR.

Thanks for answering both my questions, I don’t think Simone is a poser for not being able to answer the Nirvana question really quickly lol but come as you are is a fantastic song. And it’s great to see my question asking about cinecringe has gotten people to suggest some movies for you two to watch, so at least I accomplished something this week lol

FWPJR.

It’s where they watch a bad movie, they’ve done it before. You can find it on here or on YouTube

Dazzler & Em

Great video that definetly shows why we all like watching you reactions. The most depressing thing was the mention by Simone about negative comments and George about the fact that we still need a lot of moderating. 🤨😐

MasterElodin

Okay so I just want to say from the bottom of my heart, the amount of happiness you guys have brought me and I'm sure others is very real. I wouldn't put what you do down as not being contributing to society. I'm sure I'm not alone in this when I say you helped me through a lot of sad days/times and I think that's very valuable :)

nicosmiles

Yeah, I watch these guys when having a bad day. Also, I work 10 hour shift everyday so I don’t really have any social time this helps me cope watching the watch alongs

Mycenaeus

A fusion of Schindler's List and Pineapple Express is a bit of a tall order. The closest I can think of are Holocaust comedies like "Life Is Beautiful" (1997) and "Train of Life" (1998), WWII satires like "The Great Dictator" (1940), "To Be or Not to Be" (1942), or "The Producers" (1967), and Parodies like "Top Secret!" (1984) and the almost universally panned "Which Way to the Front?" (1970). Or maybe "The Boys from Brazil" (1978), which is outrageously absurd, but at least has Gregory Peck and Laurence Olivier as lead actors, or "They Saved Hitler's Brain" (1968), that was once declared worst movie ever made on a film festival in Ottawa. Essentially serious holocaust movies with just a bit of a comedic streak are "Persian Lessons" (2020) and "The Counterfeiters" (2007).

Onno Smits

Maybe "JoJo Rabbit" (2019)?

Maarten Martens

I love the Jojo Rabbit "No feeling is final" quote , it was my pick as well!

Beddoe

Another Star Trek idea: After you've gotten through TOS you could do a patreon reaction video to a mash-up of TOS adjacent videos. Such as: - William Shatner's Star Trek convention skit from Saturday Night Live - Futurama S4E11 'Where No Fan Has Gone Before' (not sure if you have both already seen this) - William Shatner singing 'Rocketman' - Leonard Nimoy singing 'The Balled Of Bilbo Baggins' These are just off the top of my head, I'm sure there are more. If you did this I think it would be fun to watch.

Maarten Martens

Talking about a fusion between two films: when I watched Pan's Labyrinth it felt I was watching a combination of Finding Neverland and Schindler's List. It's an amazing and magical film, but also very grim and heart wrenching. Anyone else had this or a similar feeling about Pan's Labyrinth? Without giving any spoilers of course.

Mastervodo

I really love these AMA's. You never know what you might learn. For example, today, when y'all were going through your bookmarks, I learned of Maplenuts React! Oh! Cool. Never heard of them. Lets go check that out! And that's where I found Simone's collab with Chandra on Magic Mike! Two red-faced giggly girls on a couch. That should have been the title on YT. It only has 17k views though, which is not enough. Everyone should go check it out, and like the vid to get those numbers up!

Simon Pegged Me

Bunheads keeps to the Amy Sherman-Palladino template—impossibly witty dialogue peppered with IYKYK references to pop culture delivered at screwball comedy banter speed; small town setting; lovable main character surrounded by quirky, but lovable supporting characters who would be shunned in any real small town; heartfelt sentiments at the center of what is presented as a breezy comedy. I hope you give it a shot at some point. Maybe it's the syphilis talking, but the fourth season, covering Buffy's first year of college, is my favorite of the BtVS run, largely because of the Thanksgiving episode that gave me the quote for the introduction to this sentence. (I liked Glory as the big bad, though.) George's comments on dying alone reminded me of one of my favorite Steven Wright jokes: "I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my grandfather, not screaming in agonizing horror, like everyone else in his car." (I think it was Steven Wright.) Great AMA! However, you didn't answer the question on what your majors were in college. You got sidetracked by the presumption that George was a computer science major and talked about your jobs afterwards. I was curious about this, too, but not curious enough to get off my lazy ass and write in. Maybe next time.

gfixler

Does Simone know of the TNG Season 8 Twitter (now X) account? It's just short synopses of episodes from the season that never was. https://x.com/tng_s8?lang=en The guy behind it put it out as a book, too, which I have (it's more than just tweets in the book), and he then went on to become a writer on Lower Decks! Some examples: • Picard suspects a terraforming company is instigating planetary wars. Data & Geordi have to spray a dolphin every 30 minutes or it'll die. • Beverly clashes with aliens who own the copyright to their slaves' DNA. Worf is starting to actually believe he has a girlfriend in Canada. • A Ferengi attracts the Borg towards a colony he wants to loot. Riker's replicator catchphrase, "Steak, for mouth, hot," needs work. • Beverly defends a sentient virus. Instead of dumping his alien girlfriend, Wes is hoping her lifecycle turns her into a tree or something.

gfixler

Also for Simone, Star Trek & the City: https://x.com/trekandthecity • The universe may have started with a big bang, but Samantha's evening was rarely complete without one. • "Men's lines are getting worse," Miranda groaned. "Last night, Scotty asked if he could beam me up. Jeez, buy a girl a drink first." • "Oh, their foreheads are their best feature," Samantha said, her eyebrow raised. "Four words, honey - ridged for her pleasure."

jmundt33a

Season 3 of Buffy. There is no other answer. 😮‍💨 I found Season 4 a letdown. And Adam and the Initiative are the big bad in 4. Glory is entertaining but balanced by the introduction of Dawn who wasn’t rewritten after she was aged up about five years. Poor Trachtenberg. Blamed for writing mistakes and subjected to…all that on set.

FWPJR.

No problem, I’m just glad I could help✌🏻

Happy Hanukkah

For the record, that wasn't the wonderful Steven Wright but Jack Handey.

Happy Hanukkah

"Data & Geordi have to spray a dolphin every 30 minutes" I first read that as "spay." Heavens.

Tyler Foster

I would have to dilute Pineapple Express to just "buddy movie" but The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp comes to mind.

Tyler Foster

I don't think either of them will "have no response to that."

Tyler Foster

Normally I wouldn't have mentioned this, because Cinecringe seems to be over, and it just didn't seem to be worth bringing up, but since people are talking a bunch about the potential of Cinecringe movies on the channel, I will: The one thing that bugged me a tiny bit about Cinecringe is that you both naturally went into it with part of your expectations set: "we're going to watch a bad movie." I think there are many movies out there that were critically panned or box office flops that have since been reassessed as pretty good, and I felt like the structure/format of Cinecringe may have gotten in the way of that slightly: this movie shouldn't be on Cinebinge because it is (potentially sight unseen) "Cinecringe material." I remember there were at least a couple of movies you covered on Cinecringe where it turned out you felt the movie was fun, even if it was stupid or ridiculous, but (in my opinion), you both also seemed to resist fully endorsing them because the movie was already locked into the context of being "bad" -- it's on this show and you watched it because you were told it sucked. There was a question in this Q&A that touched on this, about preconceived notions, although I can't remember exactly what it said. Anyway, I think I've said this before, but it would be nice to, every once in awhile, see polls for more movies like your upcoming pick of Alien³, stuff like Terminator 3 or Ghostbusters (2016), etc. -- something that is contentious and may be bad but which you two will watch in order to make up your own mind. I think there are quite a few movies out there that qualify for this that won't be poorly-watched videos, because people will want to know which side of the coin you fall on. And hopefully many of them will be ones where you can come to them without quite as much of a notion that you should be expecting them to be bad. You say you thought the 1984 Dune was one of the worst movies you've seen on the channel, but it's one of my favorite videos you've done because you went in with no expectations and (until that ending) you seemed to actually think it was pretty cool even if Villeneuve was more what you wanted.

Theadora

Maybe they could collaborate? I'm sure that George could add to the demographic she appeals to!

Nathan Jasper

That's why I never watched the cinecringe channel. I knew I would probably get mad and I don't want to feel that way, especially toward two people I deeply admire, so I just avoided it.

Theadora

I believe that Mel Brooks' "To Be or Not To Be" (1983) would work too. (I don't know that it's so much of a parody as his usual stuff, but more like an "augmented remake".)

Theadora

I think that's a good idea, but it's tricky, because it's really cool to get their in-the-moment responses to some of them. Maybe they could get someone to vet the Qs beforehand and only let them know about ones that would best be thought about? Maybe that could even be a special Patreon reward?

Theadora

They might even like "Ed Wood"!

Theadora

I think it's "...screaming in terror..." but I do think it's Steven "I lost a buttonhole" Wright. ;-)

Skip577

Yeah. If the AMA was limited to just movie/show questions, that could work. I just know there are movies that have rocked their worlds and (bless their hearts) they can never remember any of them in the moment. I want to know Simone’s thoughts on Good Will Hunting 2 years later. Or whatever. Just a thought.

Jesse Coombs

Well, this obviously means you guys should watch Joe VS The Volcano. I love it.

Jesse Coombs

You guys are absolutely contributing to society. At the end of a long day of work, your channel has brought me laughs and made me feel less alone. I think that's pretty neat, and I don't think I'm the only person who thinks that.

Jesse Coombs

If you're looking for a new rom-com, I'd suggest "The Worst Person in the World". It's fantastic and one of my favorite movies of the decade. I will say that has it both incredible joyful moments, and soul-crushing sad ones too.

Sergio Meira

You both said interesting things when answering the question about why it is fun to watch others react to something you know. I think there's a sense of connection (Simone's view) and also a sense of control ("are you laughing yet?" as George said). But in the end, speaking for myself: it's because it's hard to convince someone to watch something with you unbiasedly these days. If I ask my wife to watch something with me she makes a lot of assumptions about what's in the movie... and I don't like that. I genuinely enjoy the experience of seeing two unbiased people react to something I like. Often they laugh at different things, or different moments, and that makes me think, yeah that's funny too, I hadn't noticed! Also when you say things and make on-the-fly analyses, I don't always agree, but I can often see why you're saying that, and then I start another mental dialogue with myself and think about things I wouldn't have thought about otherwise... In other words, it's an interesting experience that often makes me like a movie even more than I did before. (In the case of your specific reactions, I'd say this happened with JoJo Rabbit, and also with The Cabin in the Woods.) Also, there's this fun thing of thinking, what will they do when they get to THAT moment? For instance, you guys noticed in JoJo Rabbit that there was something going on with shoes, but when THAT scene came... oh wow, I never expected it, and you two didn't either, so I felt this moment of real closeness -- see, they're just like me... :-) And in Cabin in the Woods, when they were betting on monsters, both of you noticed that there was a 'Kevin' and laughed at it:, 'merman, serial killer, vampire, ghouls, Kevin... Kevin? He's a monster? What's wrong with him?' and I thought, 'that's exactly what I thought when I saw that list of monsters! What's Kevin doing here?' You both talked just like I did when I first saw it, and it's such a wonderful feeling when someone does that...

Theadora

(as in, vetting the Qs beforehand could be a reward to a patron)

Nathan Jasper

I could have gone really dark and said Georgie from IT 😂

AC10

Omg... I LOVED Cinecringe videos over and over right up until they did The Fast and The Furious... Hard stop for me.... This was a childhood Favorite of mine. (I mean look at my profile pic). Now in 2024 was it an amazing movie???? Hell no. Was it a bad ass movie in the year it came out??? Noooo!!!! To those of us who were CRAVING any movie at the time that related to our IRL culture at the time. Ok.... So obviously I have a lot of biases. I'm a "car person" and I watched it day one when it first came out. And 157 times after day one. I get that. But still... It kinda hurt to see it as a "bad movie". I get it. From a non car person perspective in modern times it does watch like a bad movie. Really it does. But I still rewatch it myself from time to time and I enjoy it because it brings back SO MUCH nostalgia that I guess I'm oblivious to a different point of view... Almost.

Beddoe

I'm curious when the next 'Roughly Once A Month Patreon Exclusive AMA' will be. The last one left so many questions unanswered... specifically the questions I thought of after.
