If we get Addams Family then will get Addams Family Values then it's Wednesday!

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Dadadada click click. All fun choices to watch as usual no matter which gets it 😀

Robb

Casper🤞🤞

Denis

As a Christina Ricci fan, my choices are clear…

probablyKoi

I can’t wait for halloween movie season 😈🤘🏼

Kaushik Sethunath

It’s not at all relevant to this specific poll, but since it’s spooky season - I’d really love to see Simone and George dive into the Flanagan universe. Either Haunting of Hill House or Fall of the House of Usher would be terrific to see. (Midnight Mass would be great too, but I think the other two shows are better introductions to Flanagan) Especially with how Flanagan uses horror in a very thematic and metaphorical way, both in writing and in direction and visual style, I think it would a great watch!

יוסי פורקוש

Megan is a nice gem and Addams is classic comedy that you must see for visuals as for humor

Jeb Manning

With the Halloween season in full swing, I've got to recommend both Killer Klowns from Outer Space and Ernest Scared Stupid. They're both fun, goofy horror comedies. Also, there is a connection between the two movies. The effects for both killer Klowns from Outer Space and Ernest Scared Stupid were done by the Chiodo Brothers. The Chiodo Brothers are the guys who wrote, directed, and produced Killer Klowns from Outer Space, as well as doing the practical effects and makeup. So some of the effects from Killer Klowns were reused and repurposed for Ernest Scared Stupid. I think they'd make for a great reaction. They're both perfect mixes of spooks, laughs, and great creature effects.

Florian

I'm in for a bit more horror 😁I heared Smile should be good?

Leigh P

Scooby Doo!

Patrick Jackson

Oh please please PLEASE do Coraline. It's just so freaking good. It was the best movie I saw the year that it came out.

Maiki

Alright, seems to be this time of the year again. No thanks. Enjoy, all you spooky/horror fans! Some movies based on a true story i'd like to suggest: Thirteen Days (2000) A Beautiful Mind (2001) Frost/Nixon (2008) Zero Dark Thirty (2012) Argo (2012) Captain Phillips (2013) Hidden Figures (2016) Deepwater Horizon (2016) Patriots Day (2016) Rocketman (2019)

Jonny Campbell

All good fun spooky movies! I'd like to recommend Talk To Me for a proper horror film though - one of the best i've seen :)

Random Nevermind

Two of scary movies to watch: Needful Things (1993) What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962)

Dakota

Voted for Casper even though I know Addams Family will win. I know it's not Christmas yet but I recommend A Muppet Christmas Carol. Best Christmas movie ever.

Zinphad

Coraline was my favorite 3D experience ever.

Matthew Johnson

Obviously I want you to do Addams Family so you can get to Addams Family Values, the even better sequel

Chase Schleich

Could have sworn you already watched M3gan. Definitely worth a watch. Haven't seen Casper in 20 years. I remember it being pretty good as well, especially the effects for the time period.

Tsuyama

as a long time fan ill tell you this now, they dont do the whole month of horror crap other channels do and thank god for that. as George said before, a good movie can be watched any time of the year. thats why they do horror randomly through out the year, despite all the "bUt iTs nOt oCtObEr" comments. plus if every channel is doing horror for 30 days, they get all the views for people who want something else.

Tiago Ferreira

"Shut up, Gavin, there wasn't a kid called Pubert Addams"

Tsuyama

lol fair to not like horror but did you look at this poll though? more than half the movies on it are barely horror despite being categorized as such. i doubt anyone over the age of 6 has ever been "scared" by addams family or scooby doo

probablyKoi

yeah I’ve been around about a year or two and I appreciate that as well - just knowing there’ll be one or two is still fun though! :)

The Gunslinger

A Halloween film you should check out is Sleepy Hollow by Tim Burton.

Aaron Stinson

I recommend Sleepy Hollow (1999). It is, in my humble opinion, the perfect Halloween movie.

Tsuyama

didnt they just do a bunch of Alien stuff? lol we gotta also remember their shooting schedule vs release on YT. if they watch something in october, it probably wont go out to YT till after halloween.

lovemoose

For a scary movie I recommend Rec (2007).

Matt Landon

If The Addams Family does end up winning, it would be fitting to follow up with Addams Family Values next month. Not only is it one of the best stand-alone sequels, it also has a great thematic tie in for American Thanksgiving. Just be ready for the fast paced jokes and the phenomenal performances & chemistry from Raul Julia and a distractingly alluring Anjelica Huston.

Wrencher86

Adams Family Values is the better of the two and would have been the best movie on this list. I do hope George gets to see Coraline some day. Really an excellent film. And I of course continue my Sisyphean quest to get a reaction to Ravenous.

Bob Bittner

“M3gan” isn’t a horror movie, per se. (I think some people come to it expecting big scares/gore and it isn’t that at all.) But it’s an absolutely delicious thriller that asks some big questions but never loses its ability to entertain. For that reason, it gets my vote!

Maiki

I don't like spooky season movies, which this poll clearly is about for the most part. Also it's only the beginning of said season, probably more to come. So all i wanted to say is have fun with it. :)

Jordy's_Here!

That first live action Scooby Doo is a fever dream and would be a great reaction!! 🤣🤣

Keith Brown

Even better is the sequel Addams Family Values please check that out after the first Addams Family movie.

Morningstar

Please watch Dracula dead and loving it. 😂 💞

Ootlander

Who is picking these movies for the poll, oof.

David Pieper

Teeth is a great watch. George, you would really appreciate it. Simone... you'd like it but might get a bit shocking.

Big Gee

Hoping you guys do scream2 and Adams family for this month. Been wanting you guys to continue the scream franchise for awhile now.

Nate Gavin

As there are 3 more weeks to go, I will submit my requests again and hope one of them gets considered. Ash vs Evil dead, Season 1, Episodes 1+2, and He Never Died.

FWPJR.

It’s great seeing the Addams Family is winning atm I love both of the movies they did in the 90’s ( I also like the original tv series ) I still watch them every year in October if I have the time, so it’ll be a lot of fun watching you two react to it if it ends up winning.

FWPJR.

YES!!!!!!! I watch it every year no matter what.

FWPJR.

They did the first one already.

buddha bling

Scream 2, scooby do and Addams family are the best choices

Awesome80s

Casper is such a heartwarming movie. Bittersweet but awesome.

faultylogic

What is everybody's favorite reaction to rewatch? I keep going back to Scary Movie.

PureGonzo

Have they done the Evil Dead movies already? I can’t remember. If not, the TV series won’t make much sense.

Shibby

I am concerned that you may only have several thousand movies in left in your backlog so here are some more suggestions: Almost Famous (2000) RocknRolla (2008) Layer Cake (2004) RED (2010) Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016) What we do in the Shadows (2014) Polar (2019) Ronin (1998) Pitch Black (2000) The Road (2009) Midnight Run (1988) Hanna (2011) US Marshalls (1998) Knight and Day (2010) Stardust (2007) Lucky Number Slevin (2006) Babe: Pig in the City (1998 - With Mary again if possible) Altered Carbon (2014 - TV) Shogun (2024 - TV) Andor (2022 - TV) Black Sails (2014 - TV)

Reid Mclellan

Oh, Can you guys throw You're next (2011) on your backlog? If not already on there

Christopher Swofford

Ohh Lucky Number Slevin would be right up their alleys I think.

Nate Gavin

Yup. The last reaction they did was Army of Darkness

ShōNuff3K

Start The Haunting of Hill House (series) for Halloween?

Maiki

+1 Almost Famous, RED, Ronin, US Marshals, Slevin

Senec

I like rewatching the Ted Lasso reactions. Tropic Thunder, Honor Among Thieves, and Tucker & Dale vs Evil are great as well.

CrunklJack don’t poop.

Never understood why people like The Addam’s Family movie. It’s not bad, but it’s not good either.

CrunklJack don’t poop.

But then I was a jaded 21 year old when it came out, and hated most of Hollywood by then.

Thomas Thompson

I wonder how much is due to the crush everyone my age (that liked girls) had on Christina Ricci, same with Casper.

Daniel Smith

I had to confirm on IMDB I was thinking of the same film. Would love to see their reactions. Not sure who would OMG the most!

The boy who cried WTF

I had some of these in my "Political/historical drama" list. plus: All the President's Men (1976) Downfall (2004) All quiet on the western front (2022)

Bryan

May I suggest The Wrestler (2008) for the next sports movie poll and Into The Wild (2007) for movies based on novels or true events. Thanks!

Maiki

Ted Lasso for sure. Multiple times. When it comes to movies, funny stuff. Like Ted 1&2, Dodgeball or The Nice Guys. Sometimes, when it comes to mind, only a single scene, just to have a laugh for a moment. :)

Steven Cavanagh

The Lost Boys & Brightburn are both Great films, I would highly recommend, and with Halloween coming up Lost Boys would be great.

HeyHeyJK

I'm going with Coraline because it's the only film on this list I really like. I would love for you guys to react to "Over the Garden Wall" if you haven't already seen it. Fantastic animated mini-series set at Halloween. Great voice acting by Elijah Wood, Melanie Lynskey, and Christopher Lloyd, and great songs with wonderful retro-style animations. Now, of to have some potatoes and molasses. IYKYK.

HeyHeyJK

My dream reaction for G&S. I think I'm watching 4 or 5 other channels react to it right now. I love watching people watch that show.

Wrencher86

The Lost Boys is fantastic 80s cheese. I mean that in the most complimentary way.

Dragonhunter

Please add The Mitchells vs. the Machines to the list. It's by the Spiderverse stuido, similar style but more of a comedy.

m

Great film for sure

m

Yeah, most of that list I can vibe with

JayF

Adams Family because it's good but Adams Family Values is even better.

Harold Wright

And that soundtrack! *chef's kiss* Love Lost Boys.

Liesmith

Coraline is fantastic

Shane Darcy

Suggesting ‘Infinity Pool’ for future horror polls

Tim T—

Brazil (1985) definitely has some form of horror.

maikeru

for a possible court room film poll Presumed Innocent (1990) A Time to Kill (1996) Sleepers (1996) The Rainmaker (1997) A Civil Action (1998) Runaway Jury (2003)

Villa Lobos

Please add the Prophecy to this list. Great Christopher Walken thriller

Maiki

Great list. Second all of those! And may i add Fracture (2007).

Ari Ramirez

The Casper movie is such a comfy autumn watch, always on my list for the month

Khan1001

Yay! Haven't watched Addams Family in ages, you should do Addams family values as well

Allen S.

This has to be the worst list I've ever seen on a poll here.

Vincent

As well as... Smokin' Aces (2006)

TheGrimOne

Addams Family is a comedy not a scary movie. We need some real horror movies for this month.

Tsuyama

the poll isnt about scary films dude. its just halloween themed.

A Homeless Dorito

Coraline is a wonderful movie. It’s also a stop motion animation

G P

Check out: Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) The Rocky Horror Picture Show Little Shop of Horrors (both) What We Do in the Shadows The Omen

SnabbKassa

do do do DO, click click

Adam Vialpando

Sweeney Todd with Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter may not be a Halloween movie but it is too perfect not to recommend.

beefjerkywizard

Sleepers would mean I have to experience that wonderful heartbreaking film again😞

Darin Foat

I'd heartily recommend Midnight Run and Ronin, if you want to see Robert DeNiro wearing basically the same leather jacket in two very different movies.

james repka

Johnny Depp and Time Burton also brings to mind what i believe is their greatest collaboration, Ed Wood (1994).

BoredLittleLady

Van Helsing (2004). Hugh Hackman. Kate Beckinsale. Need I say more…

BoredLittleLady

These poll options are all great. You can’t go wrong with any of these. I see we’ll be getting The Addams Family soon. I hope you also check out the sequel Addams Family Values (1993), it’s even better than the first.

TheGrimOne

We just had a comedy poll last week. Most of that list is comedy. I was hoping for something different is all.

Rosie Park

not surprised at what is winning but pretty surprised by the gap

Rosie Park

Requests of some recent films: Bottoms (2023) Drive Away Dolls (2024) Lisa Frankenstein (2024) Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022) Longlegs (2024)

Thirty Year Old Mulberry Field

I’ve been in a witchy mood for this year’s spoopy month so: “The Craft”, “The Love Witch”, “The Crucible”, “Suspiria” (1977), “Coven” (a Spanish/Basque language movie), “ParaNorman”.

BoredLittleLady

Please add The Black Phone (2021) to your list. It’s perfect for the month of October.

BoredLittleLady

I recently rewatched “Scooby Doo on Zombie Island” (1998). It still holds up. I highly recommend it.

ShōNuff3K

WAIT! Have they not seen Sleepy Hollow?

maikeru

The Accused (1988)

Brendan Rafferty

There are no witches in the Crucible That’s kind of the point.

Brendan Rafferty

Kids Halloweenish movies and Scream 2 Strange poll

Brendan Rafferty

Halloween recommendations: Drag Me to Hell, directed by Sam Raimi and Sleepy Hollow, directed by Tim Burton

Thirty Year Old Mulberry Field

No but given that it’s a fictionalized account of America’s most infamous case of witch hunting I thought it was appropriate enough for my list/mood, and to not make it strictly specific to horror.

droodly

George watched this on his old cyni-cringe channel, but said it was a "guilty pleasure", so maybe he'd watch it again with Simone? Would be fun!

Trevor S Bright

Man I can't wait for Addams Family. Raul Julia was such a treasure as Gomez. Hopefully George will recognize him as M. Bison cuz I know he's seen Street Fighter for CineCringe.

Logan Kerlee

hahahaha, once he recognizes him I know that I'll get a laugh from that! :)

James Kennedy

Since when do people like the Addams Family remake so much

ShōNuff3K

Yes and yes 👍🏾

Brandon Meng

The Addams Family is a quintessential childhood nostalgia movie for me, super excited. Already excited for the sequel reaction, too. Please consider for future polls: Manchester by the Sea Perks of Being a Wallflower Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri Forgetting Sarah Marshall About Time Nebraska Sideways Cheers!

Tim T—

Master & Commander (Great Movie) and The Big Lebowski (Great laughing fit by George)

Michael Gryphon

If you watch The Addams Family for Halloween then you MUST watch Addams Family Values for Thanksgiving.

Kelly Pickard

Speaking of 1991: I want to again pitch Hook for future consideration.

Huckleberry lobo

Can't have a spooktacular poll without The Frighteners, where Michael J Fox plays a "ghostbuster." Directed by Peter Jackson 👻

Rachel W

Scary movie suggestion--the excellent and sadly forgotten, "Angel Heart" (1987) starring Robert DeNiro and Mickey Rourke. SO CREEPY.

Rachel W

Adams Family Values, the second is the best of the series. Hilarious.

JoeE

Other recommendations: sinister, one cut of the dead (Japanese), midnight mass (miniseries)

Jesse Coombs

Ed Wood is a perfect movie, which is the opposite of an Ed Wood movie.

Jesse Coombs

The 'Burbs is so much fun. Pretty much any Joe Dante movie is.

Jesse Coombs

Andor, Babe 2, and Ronin are so so good.

Ira K.

I have a rec too! As it's finally spooky season, please consider watching Lake Mungo! Such an underrated movie, I still find myself thinking about it from time to time

Be Human

Some L recommendations. Lucky Number Slevin Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels Layer Cake
