I really hope they don't go the route of Sofia not being the actual Hangman. Her being a serial murderer makes her so much more interesting than her being framed. I'm not too familair with her comic book character but just reading up on her and all the shit she's done, she sounds fucking awesome!

i mean she did kill the kid in ep 1 with no hesitation. idk if she’ll be the actual hangman in the show per se but shes still definitely a crazy murderer hahaha

I think it's possible that Carmine was the hangman and he framed his own daughter. He strangles 2 women in the batman and tries for a 3rd with Catwoman. I think that could be an interesting way to spin the hangman angle

I'm not sure if Sophia was being literal when she said she wasn't the hangman. She may have meant it as I'm more than what people say I am. However if she is being literal it would make sense because in The Batman Carmine strangles to death 2 women, those being Catwoman's friend Anika, and Catwoman's mum, not to mention that he also tries to strangle Catwoman herself near the end of the film. It would be incredibly dark but if this is true it means Carmine set up Sophia to take the fall for the murder of her half sister's mother. I know they have said Batman will not make an appearance in the show but what if Catwoman does?

In the Batman Universe the young version of the Justice League called the Titans are based in San Francisco. Three of the Robins are on that team in different iterations of the comics and tv shows.
