To answer one of Simone's questions: In DC comics, they do occasionally mention real states like New York and California. But generally speaking, everything in DC takes place in fictional cities like Gotham City, Metropolis, Coast City etc. In the comics, Sofia is in fact The Hangman, but it looks like they're going for something different here, which is fine by me. Her relationship with her brother Alberto is quite different, to say the least. Frank Miller created Carmine Falcone as the current mob boss in control of Gotham in his Year One story and then Jeff Loeb came along and wrote The Long Halloween and Dark Victory. He expanded the family into being a pretty big part of Batman's early years as a crime fighter. He made the Falcones as a parallel to the Corleone family from The Godfather films. Sophia is hotheaded like Sonny, Alberto is a take on Fredo and there's another brother Mario that's a lot like Michael.

When I watched the dance club scene, not going to lie, I kept expecting for John Wick to come burst through with fists and guns blazing.

Anamondaris

Simone just looked so shocked during a lot of scenes😂 great episode and reaction💜

Shonnicus

The scene at the end with Farrell and Milioti outside the club. Farrell with his mannerisms and acting. I watch him get ao lost in this character. Brilliant!

Simon Pegged Me

Eve slipped out to powder her nose. Do you think she could've slipped out to call the Maronis? I know Nadia says she's been having Oz followed, implying it was one of the Maroni goons, but I get the feeling she's getting this information from someone closer to home.

Amphigory

I like this idea. She was not utilized for anything in this episode so why have her show up unless her walking out is important? Unless her employees dont go anywhere without her.

I am worried Victor's PTSD from the Riddler attack and what he has to do with Penguin is going to lead him to addiction with Bliss. The way everyone in the club is the perfect target demographic and that its literally a description of Victor worries me. I suppose thats a way to get a Victor Z. Like some people get stimulant psychosis IRL and prolonged use can make it permanent. Don't break my heart HBO!

Tay Schumaker

Seems like Sofia took the fall for her dad. We know from The Batman that he killed several women (I think the number might even match the number Sofia went away for) and we know he strangles Annika (Selina’s friend) and he tries to strangle Selina in the movie too.

Redrum Sacrament

No, this isn't Victor Zsasz. His name is Victor Aguilar. Two different characters. I like that Victor has a stutter. It makes his character more original and different. Not sure if he stuttered in the comics or not. Gives the character more depth
