The last weekly polls winner was The Addams Family, which will be available this Saturday.Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

Comments

Jeff K.

Really hoping for Man From UNCLE. Such a fun movie. It was good enough to have become a franchise, though obviously given the box office and the whole Armie Hammer of it all, that'll never happen. But I love that movie.

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Man From UNCLE is an under the radar romp! So much fun and that Henry Cavill is… well… is it suddenly hot in here? 😆🔥

Maiki

This. And it has Henry Cavill for Simone :)

HUGO TORRES

O man i want u guys to watch every single one of these, i cant choose and i will not vote

Brazilian_Rebel

please add “BUTTERFLY EFFECT” to your Thriller poll !

Brazilian_Rebel

YESS DEATH-PROOF One of my favorite Tarantino films !

FaceMustache

Alita Battle Angel was a genuine surprise for me. I like Robert Rodriguez’s movies, for the most part, but my expectations were rather low. It turned out much much better than I anticipated. Otherwise Death Proof is classically Tarantino and a great choice.

Onno Smits

Oooh, Man From U.N.C.L.E. and Alita Battle Angel jump out for me as particularly great choices! You'll get great reactions out of those, I'm sure! Most of the rest are good flicks too. 👍

paul rai

This is probably too underseen to win a poll, but if you love The Raid-style of action, there’s a gnarly action film called The Night Comes For Us (2018) that I’d highly recommend. It’s an Indonesian action film much like the style of The Raid, but far more brutal and unrelenting. (The lead actor from The Raid, Iko Uwais, is in this).

Jonathan

Soldier being in last place makes me sad. It's a cool movie, esp when the lead has so few lines of dialog. Oh well. At least the Gattaca dream came true. :)

Dwight Scarn

Good flicks on there but regardless what wins I highly recommend Shanghai Noon, Jackie Chan & Owen Wilson are hilarious.

Nick Kessler

None of the above. - Fist of Legend. (Jet Li at his most bad ass!)

Nathan Jasper

Alita! Let's get this movie seen!

Golandaz

I remember really liking Soldier as a kid, wonder if it holds up

Labcurmudgeon79

If you guys like Bloodsport, might want to try Best of the Best. Not a good movie, but it's one of my favorites. James Earl Jones is in it.

Jethro Divine

Battle bagel! Though, Shanghai Noon is so much fun too. You're tearing me apart, Lisa!

Zhivko Yakimov

I second that, as this was the whole idea of the Grindhouse project - to recreate those "grindhouse" cinemas from the 1970s/80s. The programme of those places was of such low quality that they often had a "two-for-one" or "double feature" deal, i.e. you could see two movies with a single ticket. With that in mind, you should also see all the (almost) fake trailers that were included with "Planet Terror" and "Death Proof". I say "almost" because as of today, three of the five trailers were made into movies after "Planet Terror"/"Death Proof" came out :)

Bob Bittner

Sorry. None of these hold any interest for me.

Chris B

I see Man from UNCLE probably won't win but consider watching it later as you will love it. It's fun, sexy, intelligent and has a great vibe.

pinkdino99

Kumite ! Kumite ! Kumite ! Kumite !

pinkdino99

I'd also recommend Hard Target - Van Damme with John Woo or Woos original Hard Boiled.

The Gunslinger

I highly recommend you check out the film Rango.

Ray H

Bloodsport is one of those movies that I always watch if I see it on TV. Cheesy but fantastic.

Dwight Scarn

Heard that was good looked cool

Dwight Scarn

A classic but definitely some epic badass and some cheesy moments lol that's Jean Claude Van Damme movies for ya lol Time Cop is still entertaining as hell!

Moon Logic

Death Proof is so underrated!

Jeff K.

Correction: it has Henry Cavill for ALL of us. I'm a heterosexual dude and I can readily admit, that is one beautiful human being.

Maiki

That's a fair point. Especially in this one.

Keith Brown

Do a classic action list some day . Movies made before 1985 just to hear from people surprised that great movies came out waaay back then !

Dwight Scarn

I enjoyed both flicks more so. Planet Terror. But I think the double feature thing threw people off

Dwight Scarn

Chon I'm not gonna walk with you if you walk like that 🤣

Raymond DeGraw

I love watching along with your reactions. Go Alita!!! Looking forward to seeing more Halloween type movie before the month is over. 1. The Monster Squad 2. Little Shop of Horrors (1986) (Theatrical Cut) 3. Sweeny Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street 4. M3GAN 5. The Others

Jasbro

We need another option (All of the above), because damn there are too many good ones in there to pick just 1, i am sad Soldier is getting so few votes but yea it aint winning that poll.

Renee MeowMeow Beans

For me, it has to be Shanghai Noon all day - it's so much fun, and Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson have so much on screen chemistry.

Jeff K.

That movie fully made me want to see Henry play James Bond, but obviously that's probably never going to happen at this point since they're looking for someone fairly young to be able to stay in the role for a longer period of time. (I know he's only 41, but they've been saying they want someone early 30s.)

Twisty Twitties

Hope Shanghai Noon wins, by far thr most entertaining movie on this list

Jacob King

I voted for Man From UNCLE but can’t complain if Alita wins. That movie is going for it. If it wins can we follow up with Jupiter Ascending and Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets. I have a deep affection for the sub genre of the $150,000,000+ passion project.

Mike FromOz

Absolutely. One of, if not the best car chase scenes ever adapted to film. I know Quentin wishes it turned out differently, but I will never not love the last third of the film.

Jacob King

It’s so good. (fingers)

Dag Einar Bergli

Bolo Yeung is one of the best villain actors of all time

Dag Einar Bergli

Been a long time since I saw Soldier, but I remember loving it and Kurt Russell being awesome in it

Ol' Man Playin':

I think both M3gan and Abigail, Also The Others is one of my favs

UnlicensedOkie

Shanghai Noon is a good comedy. I know Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker get a lot of praise for the Rush Hour movies. To me, Jackie and Owen Wilson are also really good together.

Florian

We have to do Death Proof! I love the movie, but also we can finally close the Quentin Tarantino movies 😬 please as a completionist my heart and soul depends on it 😅

Florian

Bloodsport is such a killer, but it has good amount of cringe 😅

maikeru

Hm. I expected creepy movie polls for this month

Mastervodo

I hope Alita wins, because it is not reacted to enough, and is a great movie! I would not be sad if the Man from U.N.C.L.E. wins, because it's a great Cavil movie. That's Cavil, not cannibal. If you know, you know.

Roxolan

My usual recs: - Brazil (1985, sci-fi dystopian dark comedy) - Pleasantville (1998, earnest comedy-drama-scifi) - Annihilation (2018, cosmic horror)

Mastervodo

I love Bolo. I hate Bloodsport. The only reason rises to even a "B" movie is because of Bolo and JCVD. Otherwise, it would be just garbage. Terrible acting. Bad voiceovers. Ridiculous story. Bad fight choreography. Objectively not a good movie. Reading Bolo's Wiki page is more interesting than Bloodsport. He's got an incredible life story. In my opinion.

Amar

Please can we do a "Black history poll" Cinebinge? -Hidden Figures -The Help -Selma -Green Book. I also love fantasy films and when it's in a poll, it will always win but sometimes a true story is also pretty fun.

Tsuyama

didnt we literally just have a halloween poll?

Diplo's Sandwich

Old School. Lilies of the Field or Guess Who's Coming to Dinner

Tim T—

Brazil (1985) gets the weekly recommendation from me.

Amar

These movies are from the 60's? Very old!

John

I would echo Lilies of the Field, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, In the Heat of the Night, Malcom X, and Glory as potential movies for a poll

Twisty Twitties

Jean-Claude's slow mo action is peak cringe but its a must watch movie 😅

Marko T.

Simone needs to see Van Helsing. Its from the same director as The Mummy. Universal basically let him use all the Universal monsters after it and the sequel did well.

maikeru

One could think that Bloodsport should do better on this poll (i wish it did) when you consider how many millenials are in this community yet they vote for Alita 🤷‍♂️ (edit: yeah you can like both but still 😅)

FWPJR.

Sad to see ( for me ) that Bloodsport isn’t leading this poll atm but I know if it doesn’t end up winning you two will watch it sometime in the future. But it is definitely a must watch.

FWPJR.

They don’t watch horror movies all October like other channels, they watch horror movies all year round no matter what time of the year it is. And they did have a poll last week that involved “spooky season” movies

Marko T.

Suggestion: Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994)

Florian

The split upercut is a 10/10

Random Nevermind

Two action movies I suggest. Please! Watch them. They are cool: Le Professionnel (1981) Payback (1999)

Parabolica

Man from Uncle is such an underrated gem; shame it never got the franchise it deserved.

cincassette

I'm pretty sure "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" is now available to rent/buy on demand. It would be a great watch for this halloween season :)

Sean Barbante

I came here to say the same thing. I voted for Death Proof, but would rather themfirst see it as part of the full Grindhouse experience. I went to the theater to see it as the full double feature, with all of the other "trailers", and it was so fun. That's how I think it's meant to be seen.

Jason McCloud

Please consider Only the Brave (Disaster / Action / Drama)

Mr. Writhms

I'm surprised you Cine-Creeps 👻 haven't watched "FURIOSA" yet, as much as you liked "Mad Max Fury Road". It's pretty bad-ass. It didn't have the same box office impact but it's still an excellent action movie.

Sheens

Man From UNCLE has some of the worst directing and editing of action scenes you'll ever find in a big budget movie. There's a reason it's not getting a sequel. I highly recommend skipping it

Ray H

I understand but I disagree. I also love the terrible voice acting and pure cinema in the original Resident Evil game for PS1 so maybe I just like garbage sometimes haha 😆

Julian G

I'm a simple man, I see a Jackie Chan Film, I vote.

John Zelinka

No doubt.....on the other hand it is fun, quirky and has one of the best dance scenes ever.

Anthony Harris

Love Bloodsport but I like Alita too so voted for both. Pretty sure 56 puts me past the millennial phase, I hope :)

Mikebdrx

Thank you for putting blood sport back on a poll. I have no idea why it hasn’t had more success. It’s such good 80s cheese

Fret Lenn Borg

I really hoped for Bloodsport. But majority wins and not stubborness. Waiting is the hardest time, but it will be worth it.

maikeru

I wish they‘d watch the American Fighter movies, they‘re fun! Granted, the stories are bad, acting is bad, fight scenes are bad but still cool in a way, we 80s and 70s boys like em and Dudikoff looks cool in the ninja suit 😄

maikeru

not enough 😁 hope for another 2 halloween polls

Tsuyama

i mean, the tv poll just ended with haunting of hill house. sooo its gonna be horror every week.

maikeru

I watched Van Helsing when it came out and liked everything about it, the actor playing the villain did really great, most know him from MI2.. oh, and I also had a little crush 🤭 on the spanish actress* playing one of the vampire brides or whatever they‘re called *Elena Anaya who is also in The Skin I Live In (2011) a splendid creepy flick which is not underrated but kinda forgotten or unknown by most of movie enjoyers. I suggested it a couple of times

JoeE

Would also recommend to live and die in l a

maikeru

you‘re right I somehow forgot about that^^

Miles E Coburn

For future consideration (either Action Poll or a creator's choice) may I suggest: "The Shadow" (1994) - Superhero movie with its roots in 1930s pulp comic books, then on to 40s and 50s radio dramas. Stars Alec Baldwin (before he got all goofy), Penelope Ann Miller, Peter Boyle, John Lone, Tim Curry and Ian McKellen.

Jay Davis

I know Battle Angel whosits is bound to win here but I'ma vote Soldier only because Universal Soldier wasn't available.

TheSentry77

Wow, weird coincidence, I actually just rewatched The Shadow last night for the first time since I was a kid. Weird mix of noir and camp that fits the era of its creation perfectly. Some of it doesn't quite hold up, but I still very much enjoyed it!

Dan Holmes

Ugh Alita battle Angel is great but Shanghai noon needs to win 😩

HeyHeyJK

I mean, I wouldn't vote for any of these really, but I'm going with "Death Proof" since it's Tarantino and there's feet shots G&S can make fun of.

Michael Johnson

I just listened to the How Did This Get Made? episode on Van Helsing... you might want to skip that one 🙂

The boy who cried WTF

A short Thriller/Drama list: One Hour Photo (2002) Arlington Road (1999) Mystic River (2003) Sleepers (1996) Marathon Man (1976) American Beauty (1999)

Chris Adams

I want Bloodsport to win mostly because of how silly it is.

Liquor & Swords

Soldier is severely underrated; I can't believe it got less votes than Van Helsing.

JayF

If everyone voting had seen Soldier I feel it would be winning. It might be my favorite Kurt Russell performance.

FoH Film Club

If these polls are put together from previous suggestions I have a question on more than a few of these..that question is WHY?! 😂 just playing films are subjective

Tom Hess

Agreed. Soldier is underrated.

Vwlss Nvwls

It is too bad that Soldier does not do better on these polls. It is a great Kurt Russel movie, even though it is a bit of a corny action movie, still a really good watch and unique story.

Efrain Zavala

Payback (1999) is a good action movie.

Shane Willis

Shanghai Noon and Knights are 2 of my favourites Jackie Chan movies. So funny and underrated

Dioskur

BLOODSPORT? I love you guys for even mentioning it in a poll! It has zero chance to ever win because its neither meinstream enough nor artsy enouch but damn I'm glad it shows up

Marie Montgomery

Need them to watch Legend (1985) with Tim Curry 💕

Michael

Bloodsport is top tier goofy Cannon Films.

Nicholas Jensen

I agree, it is a great 90s action movie. I like how little dialog they gave him and yet how powerful the performance was.

Hollis Hamilton

As many have stated, Bloodsport isn't a great movie, but it will definitely produce the most fun reaction video.

Slick

For future action movie poll consideration: Equilibrium Fall Guy Ministry of Ungentlemenly Warfare Smokin' Aces Way of the Gun The Big Hit Boondock Saints Losers Push Bunraku

Tyler Foster

Not complaining to say...even knowing that it has a cult following, that is definitely not the movie I thought would be winning!

Tyler Foster

Man From U.N.C.L.E. is down near the middle of the poll, but hopefully it's actually doing *just* good enough here to earn a later slot in the schedule without being polled again. If we get the top 4 here I'll be very happy.

Garin

Shanghai Noon, let's gooooo!

Jeff K.

And I, for one, appreciate the fact that they don't dedicate all of October to horror movies. I don't mind horror movies, but it's one of my least favorite genres, so I appreciate reactors who keep things pretty well balanced. Obviously, it's about picking movies for the whole community, but there are other channels that I'm basically skipping most of their reactions this month because I'm just not interested in most of the stuff they're watching.

Jeff K.

To borrow a phrase from Keeley Jones: "That Elizabeth Debicki is an intimidating and very tall woman!" (She's 6-3! She's so damn tall!)

maikeru

Equilibrium 👏

Spacedone

No way. Van Helsing is brilliant.

Brandon Meng

Shanghai Noon is the most fun here and Death Proof is great but must be seen in conjunction with Planet Terror as the two-in-one "Grindhouse" feature. You'll get spoof trailers and it's a lot more fun that way. Plus it's better for the Halloween season. Missing from this poll: Drive Desperado 48 Hours The Count of Monte Cristo (more action/adventure but essential for you both to watch so I'm listing it) The Matrix sequels ... I can't believe you started it and never finished it. Some of my favorites hopefully for a later poll: Perks of Being a Wallflower Manchester by the Sea Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri Midnight in Paris Forgetting Sarah Marshall Cheers!

algi

I just realized I can vote multiple.

maikeru

Ip Man 2

Ari Ramirez

Man that's such a good list, I can barely pick just one

Tyler Foster

I agree that Shanghai Noon is a shrug, but it's also necessary to get to Shanghai Knights, which I think, from a martial arts standpoint, is Jackie's best American work by a country mile. I watch the fight that ends with the little musical homage so often, and that's just one of several great sequences in the movie. Donnie Yen is in it!!

Tyler Foster

The two cuts of Payback might be different enough to justify two reactions. Maybe in one video, ala Road House and its remake.

Seefah

Man from Uncle is my absolute favourite movie. Shame how poorly it did in the Box Office. It won't win, or even come second, but I hope you pick it. You'll both love it.

maikeru

I suggested a Schwarzenegger poll multiple times this year. Don‘t know why George‘s so reluctant to do one.. or a Sly poll or a court room poll or a children in a leading roll poll. He doesn‘t even have to look for the movies, just copy & paste the films I and others suggested

Maiki

Crank (both!), Under Siege and Equilibrium would be great!

Khan1001

Yes!, produced by James Cameron & directed by Robert Rodriguez, it should have gotten sequel!

FranciscoGios

Well I agree with others , Bloodsport is somewhat cheesy but you guys will have a blast watching it, but I’m not bothered by the other films winning. Nice Poll!!

Farbod

Bloodsport and Man From Uncle. Both really good.

Robert Short

You should check out the series 'Locke & Key', an American fantasy drama television series. Also, a series called 'Mr Inbetween', an Australian black comedy-crime drama, both shows are only 3 seasons each.

nossieboy

Also has an awesome soundtrack

Com1xguy

Not enough people watch Soldier. Love that movie.

Brendan Rafferty

Neither Death Proof nor Planet Terror should be on your list. Instead, you should see them the way they were meant to be seen in Grindhouse

nossieboy

It is a good Kurt Russell flick

Shawn B

I'm gonna blame Sofia Falcone for being the reason why everybody's voting for Alita Battle Angel.

droodly

Tomorrow is the two year anniversary of your release of the Gremlins reaction, and there is a sequel (Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990)). *hint hint* *wink wink* :P

BoredLittleLady

It feels pretty good to see two of my recommendations in the poll! I have a recommendation for a thriller that had me on the edge of my seat. “Fall” (2022).

BoredLittleLady

I’d like to recommend “John Carpenter's Vampires” (1998). This movie traumatized me as a kid… I’m sure Simone can handle it.

droodly

Did not know they made a "Locke & Key" show. I loved the comics. Gotta check that out. Thanks!

Brendan Rafferty

Just over 3 hours, the theatrical cut of Grindhouse

Kaushik Sethunath

I'm so excited for you guys to eventually get to Man from UNCLE when it gets its chance. I hope it wins one of these polls soon. That movie is so much better than it has any right to be. Its so stylishly directed, and its just such an enjoyable ride start to finish.

TheGrimOne

Requests/Recommendations: TV Heroes Lost Babylon 5 Stargate Warehouse 13 Eureka Movies House of 1000 Corpses Insidious Late Night with the Devil Critters Cooties Warm Bodies (zombie rom/com!) Fido Underworld Boondock Saints Swiss Army Man

Rosie Park

For your consideration: Lisa Frankenstein (2024) Cuckoo (2024) Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015) Thoroughbreds (2017) Theater Camp (2023)

Robert Short

'Captain Ron' with Kurt Russell and Martin Short is a good comedy movie you should check out.

Comhonorface

Movie 43, no reactors watch it and its full of great scenes to react, either through laughter or disgust.

Olli

Couple of movies from people whose other movies you liked: Moonrise Kingdom (Wes Anderson directed and partly wrote this and The Grand Budapest Hotel) Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (Martin McDonagh directed and wrote this and In Bruges) Moonrise Kingdom is more feel good, Three Billboards made me cry twice during it.

Maiki

+1 Three Billboards. Masterpiece.

Ricardo Alanis

As we near Thanksgiving I hope you react to “Scent of a Woman” with Al Pacino.

AVATAR-X

Your TV list and mine are pretty similar Babylon 5 (1994) Stargate SG-1 (1997) Warehouse 13 (2009) Eureka (2006) The Librarians (2014) Leverage (2008) Limitless (2015) Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013) [All the rest of the Whedonverse / Mutant Enemy shows]

sol stapleton

Second lost and late night with the devil and boondock saints

Logan Kerlee

I'm sincerely hoping that Shanghai Noon doesn't win this poll. While it may not be a bad movie I don't really have anything positive to say about it. Hoping that either Bloodsport or The Man From U.N.C.L.E. win. :)

nossieboy

Proud of y'all for voting in Battle Bagel

Ashkaun

Who the fuck is voting for Death Proof? That shit is stupid

nossieboy

Death Proof was a great exploitation film thriller.

nossieboy

Omg Capt Ron is a classic

Ashkaun

Well, I guess. Just not my thing. To each their own.

Rupert Purcat

Disappointed Man from Uncle and Van Helsing not 1 and 2. Van Helsing is awesome with heaps of Aussies in the cast.
