OK, I may have remembered this wrong, but Sofia Falcone is Carmine Falcone's daughter. Does that mean Sofia and Cat Woman (Selina Kyle, from The Batman) are sisters?

Yep, in The Batman universe with Sofia and Alberto all siblings, but Selina was raised by her mom until she died, then orphanages in the comics at one point, but they always change the continuity after cosmic level threats change reality, so currently it might be different.

In the comics, as far as I recall Sofia was only seen in the famous storyline series The Long Halloween and its sequel Dark Victory, 12 or 13 issues each and both miniseries focusing on Harvey Dent and follow the quintessential Batman: Year One four-parter, focusing on Gordon, all of which inspired the Nolan films. So Sofia showed up early in Batman's career, and in those comics the identity of the Holiday and Hangman killers is also brought into question, with twists like in this episode. So some us comic fans knew there be a twist as to the true nature of the killer, but it plays differently than the comics. There, Sofia is a physically imposing woman the way THIS Sofia is psychologically and emotionally intimidating. Comics' Sofia ends up restricted in a way for a lot of the story, so we knew there would be some twists here. THIS Sofia has made the definitive version of the character, Cristin Milioti has made it her own and as far as I'm concerned I hope they adapt this somehow in the comics.

The scene where Sofia goes into her cell for the first time, she looked like a Tim Burton character. Episode 4 is my favorite episode so far but also the darkest and sadist.
