God I love this movie so much. I'm so disappointed that the proposed sequel about the werewolves never happened, if for no other reason than the title was amazing: "We're Wolves"

Bookwormy

I have been waiting since the announcement. So excited!

Max Carter

Glad you guys loved it so much, it's a really superbly made film that stays funny to the end. I would highly recommend the tv show. It's the same premise with a different set of characters and is equally as hilarious

Jeff K.

Wellington Paranormal, as well, if they can track it down (I think it's on Hulu as well?). It follows the two cops in this film.

Rachel W

And the FX series that the film's producers made of WWDITS was equally great. Def try to catch it. They add Energy and Emotional Vampires to the mix.

Bookwormy

You guys are going to love the show. Similar vibes, and as George hopes, expanding the lore.

Emptysea93

Please please please watch the show, it was one of the best comedy shows in years and while a few reactors like Ana Colli and FWCI have reacted to it, many have not. You would definitely get some new followers.

Renee MeowMeow Beans

What a delight!! So glad you two enjoyed this. One of my favorite facts is that Stu is actually an IT Analyst guy that the filmmakers knew. And like others have said, can't recommend the show and its spin-off, Wellington Paranormal, enough. I think you'll both love it. 👍👍

Lee Meehan

I think TV Show is brilliant, if you've watched the IT crowd you'll be very happy with one of the characters.

akaTheBAY-AY-RON

The TV series would be perfect for a "short show" run. I give it a rewatch everytime they come out with a new season, I'm yet to get tired of it.

Deepan Nathan

The first vampire that wakes up is Taika Waititi who directed Thor ragnarok and love and thunder. He was also the voice of the rock character in those movies

JBK405

I couldn't even wait until i got home from work: I closed my door and played the video in my office. I knew you both would enjoy this, it is BRILLIANT. Stu just IS Stu: He's a friend of Taika Waititi who he told to come to the set and just sorta hang around. He had no idea he'd be such a big focus of the film since he's not an actor. But it just worked so perfectly..

Jawnnnn

Decided to spend my 22rd birthday alone with a movie after the craziness of the 21st. Watched this and had the best time🧛🏻 Would looooove for you two to watch the show! It is a delight. Different but the same. Incredible guest actors too

Duron Ball

I HAVE BEEN PATIENTLY WAITING FOR YOU GUYS TO GET TO THIS! 🤣 What I love most is that you've watched the movie 1st before starting the TV series... You'll be thankful you did 😉😉

Andi Herr

If you enjoyed this, pleeeaaase watch Flight Of The Conchords!

Mr TV Eye

You should watch "Flight of the Conchords". It's a very underrated TV-show, done and starring some of the guys who did "What we do in the Shadows". Don't know if you would get enough viewers to make it a feasible reaction for the channel, but otherwise, do yourself a favour and give it a shot in your free time.

SootyBlackKitty

We have GOT to get yall to watch Dracula and Lost Boys. I feel like yall missed out on so many references

Patrick

The show is amazing. Best sitcom in a good decade or so.

Dwight Scarn

The show is hilarious and outrageous. Amazing cast!

Wrencher86

To get a better understanding of some of the references in this movie I would recommend The Lost Boys and Dracula (1992).

Patrick

It's probably better than the actual source material, which is so rare these days.

Andrew Roach

The Vladislav actor was the great main bad guy, Boris the Animal, in Men in Black 3.

Patrick

So happy Simone enjoyed this. I figured it'd be right up her alley.

Patrick

Stu, Stu, Stu, Stu, Stuuu, Stu St Stu Stuuu, Stu, Stu Stu Su!

Rachel W

The film's characters hilariously pull from other vampire films -the 'see me' is from Bram Stoker's Dracula, the hovering outside the window is Lost Boys.

Kris

I absolutely adore this movie, and yet somehow, I actually like the show even more.

JoeNotCharles

I'm so glad you're going to do the show. Can't wait to see you encounter Colin Robinson.

Bookwormy

Nadja is best. I think George and Simone will love her.

Dwight Scarn

Colin Robinson is hilarious 😂

Dwight Scarn

I think Colin Robinson is one of the funniest but they all have their moments. Sucha talented cast.

Ampersander7

The title song "You're Dead" was written by Norma Tanega in the 60s. You will hear it again in the show. The film makers (Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi) tracked her down to ask her permission to use the song. She had at this point quit music and was a painter. She got to see the film and the show, using her song, before she passed in 2019.

Theo Bracco

You should watch Flight of the Conchords or Legion (the TV show) for more Jemaine Clements.

romeo-a-go-goat

I really hope you guys watch the show on the channel. One of my favorite TV comedies in a long time.

probablyKoi

This one is great, but you have to check out the series. Matt Berry's performance is some of my favourite comedy of all time.

Jason Harris

you guys seemed unaware of Taika Waititi as an actor. Other than his Marvel movies, have you seen Jo Jo Rabbit? If not, it should be high on your list

Jordan Barnes

I knew this would become a comfort video just bc it makes y’all laugh so much and the movie itself has such a weird-good vibe

Zipper

The TV show is full of hilarious moments and lots of cameos.

Kris King

Since I don't see this having been answered elsewhere ... The expression is not "The proof is in the pudding" - that's an annoyingly common mistake. It's actually "The proof of the pudding is in the eating", which makes sense as a way of saying that you can only judge the quality of something when it has been tested (or "proved"). "Pushing the envelope", meanwhile, has nothing to do with letters. Its origins are in aviation, where the "envelope" in question refers to the mathematical limits of what's possible/safe with an aircraft.

John

I would so love to see you react to the the TV show. It is even better than the movie.
