I love all the Toy Story movies 😊

Please watch "The Intouchables" i am sure it's been recommended on here but it's not a very popular movie so i doubt it's winning many polls. The few reactors who have watched it have all loved it, i think you guys and other patrons will enjoy this feel good masterpiece. It also has the best score in move history imo.

Crawnch!

Pixar wasn’t owned by Disney at this point.

"rm -*" isn't a "code", it's a basic Linux/Unix command that existed probably since Unix was created in the 1970s. rm = "remove", or an equivalent to "delete" in Windows, and * is a matching pattern for everything, i.e. every file in the current directory. So if someone has root privileges, goes to root directory and issues "rm-*" command it will delete everything on that host, including operating system. It's difficult to speculate, but it is more likely to be a malicious attempt by someone from inside the company to cause troubles for the studio. Of course accidents happen, but very few people should have root privileges on the server that contains such valuable data.

still my favorite Toy Story movie, even tho everybody says 3 is the best one. one of the best movies seuqels out there just like Shrek 2. got it on VHS in the early 2000s and loved it :)

Elena

OMG I just realized the cleaner guy for Woody is the same one in the Chess Pixar short LOL

When She Loved Me is patented Pixar heartrend.

Toy Story 2 is a typical sequel. Part 3, however ...

Agree with Simone that cast is top notch. Nice to hear a call out for Joan Cussack, she is dope. Highly recommend Gross Point Blank, I think you guys would dig it. Joan and John Cussack did a bunch of films together but I think that is my favorite, followed by "High Fidelity", brother sister duo that kinda ran the 90s for me. When this came I was skeptical about it because the first one was so good. I ended up liking it a little more than the original. I was the exact demographic; deeply geeky, with many a "New In Box" action figure languishing in closets. I am avery rational person and I still feel guilty keep toys prisoner for all those years. Denied their true destiny of being played with. The RM* incident actually kinda make sense considering the time period. At the time server tech and the ability to do massive back ups and down loads wasn't as ubiquitous as it is now. Back in 1999 or 2000, broadband internet was still rare, like my buddies were hardcore nerds and paid for a dedicated ISDN (precursor to DSL) line to our house. I remember when we upgraded to a T1 and felt like geek nobility. Galen Sussman is the real hero for having a back up at home. Nowadays there are so many version control and data retention policies it would have to be a malicious or maleficent act to lose that much of a film. It took ages to render this stuff back then, not you could do a better than Toy Story render on a decent IPad.

lol it would be really weird and kinda messed up if his apartment burned down and the video still got edited and uploaded...

....I NEVER got the "hooker" toy joke.

Phillyman!!

I don’t know if I’m the only one who says this but after Toy Story 3 you should stop. Not saying the 4th is a bad movie but TOTALLY unnecessary imo. Can’t wait for the 3rd movie reaction

m0lika1 .

You guys should definitely watch A Bug's Life. It's great and also has animated bloopers in the credits

Dirge Girl

Anyone else remember Disney execs laid-off/fired Galyn Susman, last year? 8/> I'd also highly recommend Joan Cusack's 1997 Dark-Comedy, "Grosse Pointe Blank" for any future considerations/polls.

Maarten Martens

Toy Story 2 is great, but I remember it as the film that came before Toy Story 3. Looking forward to that reaction!

Stugotz

I really hope you guys watch Aladdin (1992) at some point. I know Simone has already seen it but I don't think George has. It's one of Robin Williams most iconic roles.

Mark Messer

I thought I remember them once saying that they watched it together already. Not 100% sure though.

Mark Messer

Yeah, they have no respect for the animators. at least back when this was made there a better community around them. At least Pixar part of it.

Ari Ramirez

Now they are ready for what follows...

Maarten Martens

Was that really an adult joke? I thought it was just something that fit together. But I might have to have another looker.

Stugotz

Really? I thought he said before that he's never seen it. Well, I hope they watch it anyway regardless LOL

Dan Holmes

Been waiting for Simone to cry at the Emily song for awhile now lol A Bug's Life may have the best/my favorite voice casting in an animated film ever. Not that the cast is stacked but that the voices/performances are so perfectly paired to the characters. Simone, if you liked Frasier in this one; Niles is in A Bug's Life :)

Christina Doxstader

Can't wait for Toy Story 3. Simone, have tissues standing by.

Jeff I.

Just want to add to the chorus for a reaction to A Bug's Life someday. It's such a classic Pixar movie with the right combo of humor and heart.

Vengeance

The show MUST go on

James O'Sullivan

The Cleaner is from a Pixar short. Pre-movie shorts used to be a thing for Pixar. Recommend watching a collection of them would be a fun extra reaction

Skyruff Creative

I heavily recommend “Small Soldiers” (1998). “Not just a toy!” Lots to great actors including all the living actors from the movie dirty dozen and a scene with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Christina Ricci.

overdev

I looooved that movie as a kid :)

Matrim

Simone is literally going to die on the next one. She will dissolve into a puddle and evaporate.

8bitAndy

The old guy cleaning and painting Woody is called Geri. Before the character appeared in this movie he starred in Pixar's 5 minute short film Geri's Game. You should check it out.

Tmatts

Hopefully 3 comes soon!
