Hey guys, I loved your reactions to Arcane, one of my favorite shows this past couple of years. And I thought to replace an animated show for another that I would suggest watching INVINCIBLE. It’s honestly one of the best shows out right now imo, not just superhero but with a great story and undertones. Please do give it a try!

Hi Christian, so the funny thing about Invincible is that it was actually the very first thing we did on the channel, literally the first videos we posted years ago was reactions to the first season. Unfortunately like much of our early content, it was taken down by copyright bots. We havent given up on the show, but we just need to figure out a way to approach it in the future, do we make everyone sit through us re-watching S1 just to have a complete set, or do we skip forward to S2 etc, or if there are third options. In any case, it is on our radar for sure!

Season 1 is definitely worth a rewatch as a refresh because even the smallest plots and side stories come back to play in season 2 and 3, even better than before. Like I said, this show has become so good since it came out and now they’re even putting out new seasons every year. Would love to see you guys react to it❤️

I would definitely do a Invincible S1 rewatch with you guys, especially if it meant we get fresh S2 and beyond reactions.

While it isn't true 100% of the time in this show. they are using a sort of dramatic language style that is more formal and somber which may be what George was picking up on. Sort of like the difference between iambic pentameter that is used in Shakespeare's works and modern English dialects. Hiroyuki Sanada who plays Lord Torunaga was a producer and and major contributor for the show. He did lots of work to get Japanese actors who often wouldn't have been thought of but he knew from working in the japanese film industry for decades. They also did a lot of prep and training to get the desired tone of the period Shogun is portraying. No disrespect to the author of Shogun, it is a cool story that he came up with I prefer this adaptation of the story.

Definitely rewatch season 1 then go on with the rest! I’d watch it for sure

I listened to this book on audible. It's pretty cool. Although I got secondhand embarrassment when the author constantly talks about "the anjinsons great big barbarian penis, so big and hairy wow" . ANYWAY, Quit beating around the bush and watch the greatest drama/comedy ever made, The Sopranos.
