Nicholas Robinson actually made a fair point. I have seen multiple times reactors post reactions to the same movie literally on the same day or within a few days of each other and it is kind of weird. I've wondered if it's copycat just coincidence. Ultimately, I agree don't watch it if you don't want to and I have skipped reactions from some channels for this reason.

Yeah, I was wondering if it was partly reactors seeing how popular other reactors' videos are. But it would also make sense that one reactor covering a film/etc puts it in the mind of patreons to recommend it to other reactors.

Interesting how many people don't get the idea of how these channels have to operate because of copyrights, etc. They seem to think independent people on the internet can just play an entire movie on their channel.

I loved TBR Schmitt's excellent and eloquent explanation of why reaction fans exist, and loved even more the summary "But, f--- you." Like George described, I watch all the reactors in this video and have been a patron of all of them at the same time. It's never about watching the movie for me, it is always about watching their reaction to a thing I enjoy, or as TBR Schmitt so aptly put it, "...sharing joy". And, sometimes I don't watch reactions I've paid to access because it isn't content I enjoy... *glances at "Andor" * It's great having free will.

I'm glad that y'all have learned to tune out the negativity. I'm sure there are many (creepy) comments you can't read because... the internet. I haven't seen all of these reactors, but now I'll probably go look them up. Two years ago I moved away from the city to live with family in a rural area (due to medical issues) so reactors take the place of my friends that would watch movies/TV shows together and make snarky comments.

Yeah, obviously you see this with new movies/tv shows but I've seen it with older stuff too. At least once I saw reactions to an older movie posted by two different reactors at literally the same time down to the minute. It was really weird. I assume they had them schedule to automatically post at a specific time which would explain the timing but I guess it was just a weird coincidence.

I actually did wonder if reactors had some kind of group chat to make sure you would react to the same movies, since sometimes a lot of reactor would post the same movie in the same week or days apart. Not that it would be a bad thing tho.

I know what's her name is doing solo film reactions, which I don't bother with. I'm not big on solo react channels. Reactions are better when people can bounce off someone in real time.

I want to slap so many commenters. I watch a lot of reaction content, some I like more than others. When I don't like their content, I just don't watch it again. Antisocial weirdos who feel the need to leave some shitty comment mystify me. On top of that the engagement they give with their shitty comment actually drives up visibility and also their stupid ass Algorithm drove them to that content and their interactions with it will spur them into more. I hope they all get raging hemorrhoids.

I can't get over how many people watch a reaction video and then comment "OMG Why would anyone watch a reaction video . . ." It's like watching the 1500 meter race in the olympics and saying "F*CK who would ever watch people running in a circle you all should lose your civil rights" And the one nutjob saying they were a money grabbing scam when the videos are free . . . is he talking about the ad revenue? Does he not understand how YT works? Is he paying for Premium?

There might be something to the "curious case of coordinated reactions", but I always guessed it is in line with VOD releases? Movie lands on biggest platforms, everyone can do their reaction, makes extreme sense. I wish people would ask more questions, not assume and insult.

So many people use the internet as a way to feel better about themselves and their lives by putting others down. It's sad. And a lot of them think it's completely normal, rational behavior - or even, that's just life....comparing yourself to other people on the internet, and hopefully coming out on top. Little do these people realize that when you turn the screen off and engage with the rest of the world, literally nothing that happens on this little screen matters.

If I ever win the lottery I’d love to rent out a theater and have a reactor melt down! I watch different reactors for different reasons. I watch all that are on this list- hell I rewatch some just to scratch that itch- Arachnophobia is a major one. Popcorn in Bed when I need some reassurance in this shit world, Awkward Ashleigh for that sass, TBR Schmidtt for the more on the level takes, Cinebinge for my native sarcastic streak, Natalie Gold and Shanelle when I need my favorites reality checked. Lots more are in the mix but that’s just off the top of my head.

Also, yet another ethnicity on the list that people mistake Sam for being. 🤣 Reactors I'd like to see in future installments include Natascha Summers, James vs. Cinema and more of the Octokrool brothers and Ashleigh Burton. There's a lot more, but those are the ones that came to mind first.

I loved what Daniel, TBR, said about why they do reactions, because he loves reactions. I was the same way when I was a kida nd still am. I've always loved introducing people to movies I love, I've converted many people (some are exes) into horror fans that way, and it's a fun thing we share, even some of my exes. Also why did commenter have to make it fascist lol? What an asshole.
