This is clearly on par with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra - an ensemble not known to shy away from experimentation. (Whether the orchestra itself would venture quite this far is another matter; and not for me to decide.) One thing’s for sure: this girl isn’t afraid of anything or anyone. i dont wanna diminish Simones post here cause its entertaining af. but its kinda crazy how big of an advantage pretty privileges give. like.. George makes posts of these massive updates to the site, explaining features and doing a 1 man tech support for thousands of people here, like changes and things that actively make everyones experience better and get more bang for their buck. and those posts gets less positive responses from Simone playing a children instrument lol. this is purely an observation on we the patrons not on them.

Simone, you're living the dream. Great song choices -- gotta love Lord of the Rings and Jurassic Park! (I played in an Early Music Ensemble so I am a total recorder nerd going way back -- tenor and soprano). But... no Sopranos theme?? SACRILEGE! :D

1. I played very beautiful wooden recorders formally in an Early Music ensemble -- tenor and soprano. We played Bach, Monteverdi, and Josquin. 2. It's not just a children's instrument although the little plastic ones are a great and cheap intro to learning fingering for a ton of instruments -- if you can play recorder, you can already play the fingering on everything from a clarinet to a saxophone and a ton of other similar double reeds. 3. And yes, I am a music nerd. 4. I don't like or agree with the way you describe or disparage Simone and her contributions to the channel -- it feels more than a little sexist. BUT -- I do agree that George does need more shoutouts, so thank you, George, we appreciate you!
