just a reminder or in case you missed it, theres no movie poll this week as last weeks poll was meant to cover 2 weeks worth of poll winners due to us taking next week off- which means that in order to not have any lapse of content upload for all you lovely folks, we'll be pre-recording eerything ahead of time rather than wait for a weekly poll result.Movie polls will return next Monday the 18th, all other uploads will continue as normal.

Cheers!

DwarfsRBest

Hey, you, don't be like that. I'm sure we can find something to argue about 😂

Shibby

Ok cool but what about the movie poll this week?

Jonas

They're going to love that one when they get to it. It's a Cinebinge movie for sure.

Matthew S

We really need to get to reign of fire. I’ve been putting off a rewatch waiting for you guys to get to it lol it’s been suggested and liked a lot in the general Chat in the past so I thought it would have been done by now. Looking forward to it!! ❤️

.....to help create a sense of continuality, ill replicate some of the usual comments of weekly polls..... "omg the movie i want isnt in the lead, everyone is an idiot for not voting for it" "this whole community must be kids with recency bias cause the newer movie is winning" "this whole community must be old people with nostalgia goggles cause the older movie is winning" "the movie with the highest RT score isnt winning, is everyone dumb?" "people blindly follow RT score thats why the movie i dont like is winning, is everyone dumb?" "why is the movie most people have seen winning instead of the one i think is best? dont they know art is objective instead of subjective?" "the movie i want isnt winning! i will now behave like i personally made the movie and the polls are a ranking of quality instead of whos seen it and who hasnt!"

blerbaberpaterb

.....here you go..... some classic comments to get started..... "this whole community must be kids with recency bias cause the newer movie is winning" "this whole community must be old people with nostalgia goggles cause the older movie is winning" "the movie i want isnt winning! i will now behave like i personally made the movie and the polls are a ranking of quality instead of whos seen it and who hasnt!"

KIERON

I don't think we can, and I'll die on that hill.

beefjerkywizard

HACK THE PLANET!!!! We need this movie in cinebingeverse

Senec

Pineapple on Pizza: Whimsical departure from traditional toppings, or hellworthy affront to cuisine?

REDR58

I vaguely recall having a 28.8 modem that was somehow upgraded with firmware that made it 33.6. US Robotics internal modem of some kind.

I just feel the need to shout from every rooftop that at last, finally, in the most "DUH, this has to happen" casting ever given his previous work with the showrunners and the fact he's a massive fan of the games: Aaron Paul has joined the cast of Fallout for season three. I want him to play a live action Boone, but it'd be kind of funny if he's a member of the Enclave because of all of the "Science, bitch!" jokes that would come with that connection.

gfixler

Oh dear, three times in college, I tried to watch Legend with friends, and all three times I fell asleep at the same point. I won't say exactly, but it was when some magical creatures appeared. I've been there for the movie thrice, and still haven't seen it.

Joel

Have a nice week off guys 😁 one film I really hope you get to watch one day is Top Secret! (1984). Made by the same guys that made Airplane, I personally think it’s better than Airplane

Charles

I've been on a Batman binge lately rewatcing. Would love to see you two finish Batman Forever and Batman and Robin, if only for the laughs :)

Brandon Meng

The week is just not the same if I'm not spamming you with my same movie recommendations: Perks of Being a Wallflower Manchester by the Sea Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri Sideways The Royal Tenenbaums Forgetting Sarah Marshall Cheers!

I'll never argue about eating a pineapple/pepperoni pizza.

Logan Kerlee

Batman Forever is a quality watch that I'm open to watching nearly anytime but Batman and Robin is a special sort of cringe.

Logan Kerlee

What?! This is AWESOME news!! I'm stoked. Hope that he'll be down to play his role as it's intended and can resist the urge to Pinkman everything.

Divinerights

This guy won’t argue about eating pineapple pizza 🫵

John Every

one movie reccomendation I have, "The Italian Job" (1969) with a very young Michael Caine.

@Senec, I remember when 9600 to 14.4k bps was pretty good for dial-up.. then 28.8, and when 56k finally hit we weren't really far off from broadband cable internet. Like from 1993 to 1999, it might still have been marginally faster to try and look up an answer in a book than to try to research it on the internet. also all the people in this thread are my people, hack the planet!

James O'Sullivan

Can I throw in some British feel-good/comedy film suggestions - Yesterday (2019) - Wonka (2023) - The Boat that Rocked (2009) - About Time (2013) - Paddington 1&2 (I think was already in a vote) Based on true stories/events - Pride (2014) - Slumdog Millionaire (2009)
