Simone missed it but if Yuji dies, Sukuna won't be affected because like he said his essence is still scattered in his remaining fingers that Yuji hasn't eaten yet. I would also like to clarify that the Shikigami (the animals Fushiguro summons in combat) are not Cursed Spirits, they're more like familiars.

Oh man, the more I see you watch anime the more I hope you'll get to at least some of the classics at some point! They are quite a time commitment (like Naruto, Bleach.. I mean One Piece but thats unrealistic, maybe the Remake), but well worth it. Legend of the Galactic Heroes would be amazing too, but the original is very old and more Game of Thrones "but mostly the political intrigue" but not for nothing one of the highest rated animes, still.

Oh wow, the voice actor of the volcano head guy in the second episode is the voice actor of Buggy in One Piece! Absolute goat, the voice acrobatics of him are insanity.
