You guys are gonna love Hook I just know it, a supremely underrated movie even by its creator. I’m so happy it’s found a passionate following in the last ~15 years or so, as I’ve loved it since I first watched it. Pairing it with Deliverance will be interesting to say the least 😂 two crazily different tones but excellent movies. Great week ahead!

Kevin DiSalvo

Limitless! LFG! I guess I'm not ending my patreonage just yet afterall

MarkGauci85

Damn! You can tell it's gonna be an interesting week, when Hook and Deliverance are on the menu!

Matrim

Hook is great. Lots of secret cameos so don’t skimp on the trivia. Plus you get to see Prince Zuko in the flesh! Also, Deliverance is harrowing, but has one of the best sequences in all cinema pretty early on.

CrimsonWarrior55

HOOK! HOOK! LEAD US TO HOOK! HOOK! HOOK! LEAD US TO HOOK!!

Jeromy M

Still hoping for Wind River to make a surprise appearance.

Ginger

Very much looking forward to Hook and Deliverance is definitely one I'll skip. :D

Śéáń

Spot the Avatar voice actor in Hook 👀

Steve Matthews

Same, they're one film away from finishing it. Have you seen the Creed comic set in the future?

Mike W

TNG, Limitless and Hook = a good week for me 😄

AlternativexXxHonk

No but i heared About it. And we kinda get a new Entry in the Rocky Franchise soon with the I Play Rocky "Biopic"

blerbaberpaterb

im guessing its data driven decision. creed 2 from a month ago has 27k views. nemo, red, top secret all got 50-70k in like a week or days. even those compilation videos they put out got more videos. my guess is why bother using 1/3rd of a weeks movie for something with no views and few care about. just completion for completion sake is probably not a good business motivation.

Gizmo_Mogwai_

Yeay Hook! Been literally like 20 years since I've last seen it. Can't wait to re-watch it

jmundt33a

Passed on a genie to talk to a lawyer about his marriage. Oh well. Still fun.

jmundt33a

He does draw a lot of attention to himself.

BobbyDigital

Hell yeah! Limitless. Hook. Good shit.

Glad they're watching Ðelieverance.

Kelly Pickard

Same! I've been suggesting Hook for ages, and I'm so excited.

Erik D

Quentin Tarantino's chapter on Deliverance in his book Cinema Speculation is definitely a must-read.

MostLime

Limitless is amazing! Glad to see it! You should definitely see A Silent Voice soon.

Matt88g

Excited for hook and deliverance, two very different films

Kevin

I think yall would really enjoy “Sausage Party”

Jay Davis

A WIDE variety of moods on this week's schedule. Buckle up!

Rebecca Karsner

Love this!! But hear me out for the perfect 3 movies in a week.. Clerks 2 Wind River Atomic Blonde Manifesting this!! 😁 🙌 🙏 🤞

Matt Dellarosa

Im glad to see Deliverance is getting a watch. Its a pretty intense movie so be ready for that. Limitless is at least a good movie. Not Bradley Coopers best by any stretch of the imagination but I enjoyed it.

Dolorosa

JJK DAY TODAYY RAAAAAHH ♥♥♥

TurnerK

What a banger week for youtube! Lets go! My recs: Flow, Over the garden wall (short show), Afro Samurai (anime)

Dolorosa

blerbaberpaterb

Jamie

Deliverance is a fun movie. Enjoy

Its_Apollo

I’m so stoked for Limitless

Kelly Pickard

I wish Hook was new to both of them, but I'm excited to see the reaction nonetheless. :) It's just SUCH nostalgic Millennial classic, with an incredible score, and an amazing cast, and my favorite version of Captain Hook.

Jeff K.

Seeing Bradley Cooper reminds me: really hoping for the Bradley Cooper cult classic movie that's currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, but I also don't want to mention it by name because, whenever they get around to watching this film (I assume they will), I want them to be surprised when he pops up.

Major Peril

Wow! Your Limitless Attack on Titan and your Jujutsu Deliverance has really Hook'd me. I'm so happy I could squeal like a pig! 😁

Cc Decc

For another movie with some Limitless themes, try Phenomenon (1996).

REDR58

di di mau!

Fredrik Larsson

HOOK! Fucking finally!!! OMG!! I'm gonna have to wait a whole week for it! But it will be worth it!!! :D <3

Saifu

Please add Backroom to the list!!

MostLime

That or Evangelion

Steven Cavanagh

I would like to recommend the British Sci-Fi Comedy series Red Dwarf.

Nathan Jasper

Deliverance is gonna mess some first-timers up lol

Matt Blanchette

45th anniversary of "FOR YOUR EYES ONLY"?

Simon Pegged Me

It's good to see Otis took time off from Luthor Corp to go rafting with his friends. He needed that change of pace.

Nat B

Amazing week for Youtube!

John Smith

Dustin Hoffman as Captain Hook is the once example I can point to of an actor being so good that they disappear into a role. I've known for years that it's Dustin Hoffman in that costume, but for the life of me I can not see it. There is just nothing of Dustin Hoffman on screen in Hook.

nossieboy

Really enjoyed Limitless, I think Simone and George will like it.

Icarius

Oh damn, they hadn't seen Limitless yet? Sweet

Freddie

Time for some banjo playin'..Yeehaw. Deliverance will be great!

Dolorosa

Wait nvm im slow oop 😭

Rupert Purcat

you could squeal like a pig for me!!

Eric Erwin

No idea where to put this, so here will work. Given you've done all the Lethal Weapons, you should check out the spoof, National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon 1.

Ken Veader

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle drops in 10 dayz

InsertDisc

Totally off topic, but any chance youll react to Dark? Its a mind bending time travelly series. Only 3 seasons. Already finished. And its fantastic! Its german pls watch it in the original language

Tyler Foster

Still hoping that The Cable Guy (1996) did well enough in that poll about a month ago to be in consideration for a runner-up slot.

Jimi Hart

“Down down down, the red knights going down” 🤣 lives rent free in my head.

Angela D. Mitchell

Oh, Phenomenon is such a good movie. And way, way better than Limitless (although Limitless is trashy fun). One of my favorite sleeper movies.

Angela D. Mitchell

I guess I'm the curmudgeon who's the only person who doesn't love "Hook." It has great moments, absolutely, but for me it's overdone by all involved, and the sets and props are so fake they take me out of the movie (the food scene, OMG, so bad). And directing-wise, Spielberg tries too hard -- it almost feels like an SNL skit of a Spielberg movie at times, with all the "gazing up shot from below" shots, etc. But that's just me.

jmundt33a

Atomic Blonde is awesome.

jmundt33a

Phenomenon is great. Some of Travolta’s best work. I didn’t like the ending much. Felt like they wrote themselves into a corner, pulled eject, and got defensive about it. Great scene with Data from TNG and a couple great scenes from Duvall. His “sleep better tonight,” eruption is truly memorable.

jmundt33a

The exact opposite of Blackbeard in Pan.

Jamie

A classic pairing!
