djKENTO

proud of the comments for not being weird about Gina’s nonsense.

I was so happy to see an actress play a fighter who could actually fight in real life. It adds some realism to the performance. I first saw her in American Gladiators and thought she was gorgeous. Then to see her first in Deadpool and then this was awesome.

Just got the alert and this is the PERFECT way to waste time at work! Thanks!! :D

Do all of Yoda's species have the force? we don't really know but out of the 3 we have seen on screen all 3 were force sensitive. The 3rd that you propably didn't see was in Episode 1 sitting in the Jedi council room and her name is Yaddle

King_Panarisi

Keep in mind, the Galaxy is a huge place and exept for the capital planets and systems in the galaxy alot of the other ones stick to their own culture and propably have never even noticed anything going on in other systems. Around the time of episodes 1 - 3 there were around 10 000 Jedi and obviously alot more force sensitive's but they either figure it out on their own or become Jedi.

Blasters definitely pierce armor. If you look closely when he shoots storm troopers you will see a hole with glowing edges. When shooting unarmored targets you dont see any blood because the blaster bolt is so hot that it cauterizes the wound immediately as it passes through it. :)

To answer your question about the trackers, they're biological tracking. They are keyed into the gene sequence of the creature. It's explained in a book that was published recently, though I cannot for the life of me remember which one (that also could be a false memory, so take it with a grain of salt)

One of my favorite comments about Werner Herzog (the old Imperial guy, if you didn't know) was that "there's something inherently chilling about an old guy with a thick German accent talking about how things were better in the old days".

What is a "Pram?" I think originally, that term was used as reference to a type of boat, but in common vernacular, its for strolling a baby. Like a stroller.

The AT-ST is piloted. Remember in Return of the Jedi when they were walking around during the Battle of Endor, Chewie and two Ewoks capture one, throw the pilots out, and kill a bunch of troopers. This is my least favorite episode because of the behavior of the pilots in the AT-ST. The entire purpose of those vehicles is to function as a scouting and mobile assault platform. During the battle it just stands there and gets shot at, where it could have at least attempted to reposition for a better angle on the village. The most logical reason I could figure out was the pilots were inexperienced and did not understand its mobility/controls and how to take advantage of the tactical superiority the walker provides.

It be a really good if you did a YouTube version of these Patreon exclusive vids. Could potentially be back up vids if a future vid doesn’t work out.

Pram is short for perambulator which means walker

Okay, so neither of you have heard of "Clam Juice?" Or 'Clamato cocktail?' also... There is a classic western movie/story trope personified by the films, "The Seven Samurai" & "The magnificent Seven" that this episode loosely pulls from.

I love this show. The new girl is Gina Carano, 1st MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighter to hold the title for 4 of the 1st female fights. Also can't wait for the 3rd season.

Florian Hoyer

you always say the baby had no training but its 50 years old so its pretty much the exact age as darth vader and grew up the first years while the republic with all the jedis was still around xD

Simone has heard the word "pram" before in Monty Python and the Holy Grail's Camelot song: "I have to push the pram a lot." That was a lyric that I did not understand at all when I was 14 years old.

Ron Howard directed Apollo 13, and Dallas Bryce Howard is in the Jurassic World movies as well as probably the only episode of Black Mirror that wasn't horrific or depressing lol. Ron Howard has actually made a lot of great movies. Apart from Apollo 13, my favorites of his are Willow (George Lucas wrote it), Parenthood (Comedy/drama, with Steve Martin), and The Missing (a Western basically, but I love me some well written historical fiction).

This show takes place 5/6 years AFTER ROTJ; that’s the movie where Luke goes to the second Death Star and where Darth Vader kills Palpatine/Darth Sidious. So practically The New Republic is trying to take back control what ever planets they can. Yes they are a few Jedi still roaming the galaxy.

Nate Terry

By this time, the Jedi/Sith orders are not common knowledge...merely myth and lore. remember in "A New Hope" when Vader is talking with Tarkin and the council of imperial officers, the one officer insults Vader by saying his "sad devotion to that ancient religion" by which Vader chokes him

See if you like Firefly and Serenity

Blasters work like most laser weapons work (at least in theory). By super heating the natural liquids in tissue and causing immense damage. Armor can deflect this, but at least in Legends content that level of armor isn't Stormtrooper issue. Most Stormtrooper armor is simple designed to stop kinetic weaponary (spears, arrows, slugthrowers) because blaster tech is not supposed to be widespread among most normal people in the galaxy. Which is also why Beskar is so ridiculously precious. Because it's melting point under blaster fire is insanely better than anything else. Yes, it can still fail under fire, but it requires immense heat to actually fail which means you have to land repeated shots in the same vicinity to be effective.

Also, it's important to note that in Legends content (which both and Fav and Fil are fans of) Mando helmets have 360 degree viewing. Which is why the Mandalorain seems to have 'eyes in the back of his head'.

In the older lore, bounty hunter trackers are tied to the DNA of the target. If you base it off the video game setting (which arguably is the most fleshed out element of it), bounty hunters use probe droids to lock down the planet a target is on and then seeker drones to get the exact location. Easy to translate the 'tracker FOBs' in place of seeker drones (think Darth Maul in Phantom Menace for comparison).
