Please do Coen Brothers follow ups, along with Lebowski. My Coen favorites are "Raising Arizona" and "No Country For Old Men".

RIP Mark Lanegan :(

I'm so happy I wanna cry that you're finally watching a Coen brothers film!! While this is much more of a comedy than most of their films, it has a very familiar plot of a situation that goes very wrong. They are absolutely in my top five film directors of all time (and they write and edit their own movies, too, for the most part). So, if you want to stay with the comedic side of things, definitely watch "Raising Arizona" because it has another amazing performance by John Goodman (who is in about half of the Coen's films, I think), along with Nicolas Cage and Holly Hunter and is like a live action Looney Tunes cartoon. "Fargo" is fantastic and has both Steve Buscemi (RIP Donnie) and Peter Stormare (the porn star nihilist) along with Frances McDormand, who happens to be married to Joel Coen (and one of America's greatest actresses); and my favorite film of all time is "No Country for Old Men" which has pretty much no comedy but is amazing from start to finish. John Goodman is also fantastic in "Barton Fink" along with John Turturro ("bendy" bowler Jesus), who is fantastic in "Miller's Crossing" and ... sorry, I get carried away talking about the Coens. I actually didn't totally connect with 'The Big Lebowski' the first time I saw it, but it's really grown on me over time and the dialogue is amazing. Plus, how can you not love a film that starts and ends with the smooth narration of Sam Elliott? Oh, one last Fun Fact: the shortest of the nihilists is Flea, the incredible bass player from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the nihilist girlfriend who gave up her toe is Aimee Mann, the amazing singer/songwriter who is still probably most famous for her '80's band, 'Til Tuesday' hit, "Voices Carry" but she's had an amazing solo career since then. So glad you liked this film and so hope you watch more by the Coen brothers!!

Yeah, thought that, too, when I saw Simone's shirt. Glad you posted that.

You should look at some other Coen Brothers classics-like O Brother Where Art Thou, Fargo & Burn After Reading 😉

"Miller's Crossing" is one of my favorite Coen movies because main hero is very rational. "Hudsucker proxy" is very hilarious too.

I have a suggestion for the next comedy movie poll: Austin Powers
