I don't know if you have seen the Hannibal show but it's goooood

Jean-Dominic Lapointe

The bad guy being chased at the beginning is played by one of the two guys credited for the creation of the modern parkour, that’s why the scene is so amazing.

Erwin Quiachon

Goddamn! That stare from George always does it to me, making me want to do things. That seductive stare always teasing me, making me want to like and subscribe.... and no way Bonds nuts healed in time for sex in the hospital, or ever again.

Great great reaction :) and I'm glad your gonna continue with the Daniel Craig ones. George is so right that a flawed hero is more interesting. Makes things so much more interesting. You'll especially see how it's a different if you compare to the movies with Roger Moore or Pierce Brosnan. They are just to polished and that affects the movies.

There are actually tons of cars games that are neither poker nor children’s games. These can include Bridge, Hearts, Cribbage, etc. The game they’re playing in that scene may actually be Baccarat, but I’m not certain.

Emptysea93

Poker is a variety of games, all of which involve betting with chips, trying to have the best hand, and bluffing. Poker games are popular because they involve both luck and skill. A great player can still win even with a terrible hand and a bad player can still loser even with a great hand. The main difference between the types of poker is how the hands are formed. For instance in this film, they play Texas Hold'em poker, albeit with Baccarat style chips. The reason for this is because in the original novel they play Baccarat not poker. However Baccarat is no longer a popular game in many casinos except for the older and very rich, and Poker is very popular game whose rules are understood by most. Various other forms of poker exist, but they are considered variations of poker. Other card games, such as baccarat or blackjack are considered different.

David Sumner

Unfortunately the sequel Quantum of Solace is really bad. It's like the Speed 2 of this franchise.

Tom Smith

They actually made the decision to ditch Baccarat as the card game because it's so complicated and niche. They switched to poker so it was a game people can understand. Baccarat is what is played in the book.

George Baxter

Great reaction! Id love to see you guys react to an earlier Bond for comparison… not necessarily a bad one, a classic like GoldFinger or Live and Let Die. Casino Royale is a great Bond film but it’s really interesting to see what informed it. Looking forward to you watching the rest of Craig’s. Especially the really good ones!

Tom Smith

Sebastien Foucan! The other guy for modern parkour is David Belle who was in District 13 a French film.

jim Howe

If you plan on watching the next film I'd advise taking a motion sickness pill beforehand. The rest are fine.

Jean-Dominic Lapointe

I’m following a few movie reactors on YouTube and every time one of them is doing a James Bond marathon and they get to Tomorrow never dies, I realize how I didn’t remember that movie, every time. My brain will just not commit it to memory

Stretch

I wouldnt say its as vad as Speed 2, its still a passable action film.

Stretch

As of filming that car flip set a record for the most flips in a film, not sure if its still the world record or not.

mojo shivers

After Skyfall, probably my favorite Daniel Craig Bond film. Although, No Time to Die was really good too. I just liked how they introduced this version of the character. Plus, Vespa is a great character to play off of.

NotlobParrot

*Most Unassisted Flips. No ramp, no air cannon...just fast driving and insane stuntwork. Incredible.

Craig D

By far my favorite bond intro song. rip cc

Ed Stephens

Soviet Intelligence actually had activity in Alberta prepositioning weapons and explosives to destroy oil infrastructure if world war 3 broke out. There was/is likely science and technology espionage going on in Edmonton. When finished the Craig Bonds I recommend some John le Carré adaptations as he was in British Intelligence - Army, MI5, MI6 and Foreign Office.

Githerax

THIS, George please add 'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy' (2011) to the list

Jey Siksa

YEEEEES, LOVE THIS BOND MOVIE RIP MY HEART

Githerax

George, before you two do any more Craig Bonds I *highly* recommend you watch the list I posted earlier, or at least 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' if nothing else. The most recent Bond, 'No Time to Die' will be much more meaningful if you do.

Spooky Dooky

Nope, don't care for it. It's not a James Bond kind of movie. It's more like Die Hard maybe.

Zeke

A much better watch than a recent Bond film is Ronin.

Tyler Foster

I think this is one of the best Bond movies, but I also second the recommendation for Ronin regardless.

Simon Clifton

3 shots of export strength Gin (47% ABV Tanqueray is perfect), 1 shot of Export strength Vodka (Smirnoff used to do one at 50% ABV) half to 1 shot of Cocchi Americano (modern Lillet Blanc isn’t quite the same flavour as when Fleming invented the cocktail - Cocchi is perfect). Shake the crap out of it with ice so it’s Cold as all hell. Lemon peel and then savour. Perfect in the summer but it’s lethally strong

Matt Blanchette

I hope you enjoyed Chris Cornell's vocals on this one. :-)

Marko T.

This has one of the best intro songs.

Tim Nicolle

It's definitely worth reading the Ian Fleming Bond books. The Bond in them is far more complex and interesting and the style of story is vastly different to the films. A couple of the films are based on short stories which only take an hour or two to read.
