Wow. That's a creepy thumbnail.

I love this movie. God, help me. I do love it so. We need more movies like this. More than ever.

Fly Ωhms

Dude I just woke up and see you guys posted this, happy Sunday to me! Lol Keep them Western reactions coming.

Erwin Quiachon

Now, I want to see Tarantino use the same approach to make a biopic about Cassius Clay, the politician, not the boxer.

mojo shivers

Not my favorite Tarantino film, but still a great film overall. It just doesn’t have the certain rewatch-ability that Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, and Inglorious Basterds do for me.

Christoph Plank

Jackson did a voice-over in IB, explaining the explosive properties of nitrate film. And Waltz played an Austrian; because he is one (as am I). Also the guy he talks to about the silent D was the original Django, Franco Nero.

Great movie and great reaction :) Tarantino pulled a lot of inspiration from Sergio Leone movies to make this movie, so I would like to suggest some of his epic movies. * The good, the bad and the ugly. * Once upon a time in the west. And speaking of Leone there is of course also * Once upon a time in America. (mafia/crime) All three movies are epic and a "must watch" in my eyes.... and with music by the master of movie scores: Ennio Morricone. So hauntingly beautiful.

I agree. I was shaking my head a little when the title theme reminded George of Firefly. They need to watch/listen to Leone/Morricone ASAP. Once Upon a Time in America is my favourite mafia movie -- beautiful and brutal in equal measure. I still listen to Deborah's Theme.

You guys are totally spoiling us this week :)

Fun Fact: The older guy Django talks to at the bar who says he knows the D is silent is Franco Nero, the original Django from 1966 spaghetti western of the same name.

The blood on Candy's hand was an accident. Leonardo hit a glass when he thumped his hand down and it shattered. It's real blood, he just kept in character for the scene. Which makes it more disturbing he just rubs it on her face.

Githerax

He didn't rub his blood on her face. There was a cut, and the scene was continued with fake blood for that shot.

Also, Simone, yeah James Remar did play two roles. Weird.

David Crabtree

I've seen this once, didn't care for it. I think the last Tarantino film I've enjoyed was Death Proof.

lorenzo

Fun fact that was not mentioned. Jamie Fox is a big horse guy and the horse he rode during the movie was his actual horse. He even taught the horse to do those tricks.

Githerax

Oh, I was wondering about that, I know horses need a lot of training to do those things and I wondered if Jamie learned that for the movie. Simone, here's some horsey goodness for you: https://youtu.be/7n8DVPQ6gDw Speaking of horsey goodness, how about: - 'Secretariat' (2010) Horse Movie - 'Sea Biscuit' (2003) Horse Movie - 'Man from Snowy River' (1982) Horse Movie and I think there's a romance in there too somewhere - 'Hidalgo' (2004) Aragorn Rides a Horse - 'The Black Stallion' (1979) Sci-Fi Pyschological Mystery jk it's a Horse Movie - 'How to Train Your Dragon' (2010) You only *think* it's not a Horse Movie - 'A Day at the Races' - well, ok. But have you seen a Marx Bros movie yet? C'mon. They're always horsing around.
