I loved the original when it came out. Super out there concept and super funny at the time, but surprisingly still holds up well after a few decades.

A great reaction! Shout out to make-up effects legend Rick Baker for his amazing work on this movie, but especially Edgar. Combined with D'Onofrio's physical performance, they created a classic character. My wife and I still say "I know Edgar and that wasn't Edgar..." :D

When you cast Tommy Lee Jones, if he likes it, great, he's a good actor. But if he doesn't like the film, great, he's going to be grumpy, which is probably exactly what you hired him to be.

Tara M. Wilcoxon

“Congratulations, Reg, it’s a ….squid.” I love this movie.

The lead actress, Linda Fiorentino, is such an underrated 90s/00s star, she is also in Dogma, one of Kevin Smith's most controversial films (which is also starring Will Smith's newest friend Chris Rock). I highly recommend you watch some Kevin Smith films, I would love to see you to react to Clerks, Clerks II, Dogma, or even Chasing Amy.

“… he’s so serious.” Of course. It’s Tommy Lee Jones. Recommend: Space Cowboys The Hunted Man of the House Is U.S. Marshals already on the list?

Garrett Grantham

Fun fact: technically MIB is marvel canon, the opening credits even say as much, based on marvel comics. I would have loved to see Agent Jay and Agent Kay show up in the end credits of Avengers just trying to neuralize people into forgetting a full on invasion took place in 2012.

Oh my god I never realized it's Vincent D'Onofrio.

Marvel canon and Marvel Cinematic Universe canon are two vastly different things.

Mike Adams

For more Tommy, there's always Batman Forever :)

michael clarke

do no country for old men. probably the best tommy lee jones movie.

Moni Castaneda

The Men in Black comic was published by Aircel wich was bought by Malibu comics then Malibu was bought by Marvel comics so it's only technically "Marvel" because of ownership

Anthony Phillip Reyes

Men in black II is my favorite in the series . hope to see you guys watch the series too :)

Ziggy

He zapped him to see how he would react the second time around. If he's able to deal with everything.

Odd Thomas

MIB 2 & 3 are fun by nowhere near as well written as the first

I figured it was so that everybody taking the test would be on equal footing with no preconceptions or clues as to what they needed to do.

Dogma is so good. Kevin Smith wrote it BEFORE Clerks, but wanted to wait until he could get a good budget for it.
